“It’s impossible to say how good it is there. The food is always top notch. Any item on the menu is executed with care and technical skill. The service is always fantastic. A neurologist friend took me here many years ago as a graduation celebration from nursing school. I’ve been coming back ever since, and I’ve never had a disappointment for a night or meal. “Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning with my brother, who was in town for work. He loves breakfast food, so I brought him here to try it out. I've been here quite a few times in the past and usually enjoy my experiences, so I was looking forward to breakfast.

Today, I decided to try something different and ordered the breakfast tacos and corned beef hash. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen, but both dishes were watery, wet, and mushy. The texture was really off-putting, and definitely not what I expected. I've eaten here several times before and have never experienced this, so I'm hoping it was just an off day.

On the bright side, the Nutella waffles were delicious! Those definitely saved the meal.
Overall, it was a mixed experience. I've enjoyed this place in the past, so hopefully the food will be back to what I'm used to on my next visit.“

“I came here on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30 to check this place out. I'd wanted to go based on its reputation for Croatian and other Balkan dishes.

The restaurant atmosphere is unpretentious, no-frills, unadorned (save for some beautiful photos up front of presumably ancestors of the people who own / operate it today). My meal started with a basket of white bread. Soft, neatly sliced, and plenty of butter with it. The special that day was rolled cabbage with soup. I ordered beef noodle (they brought out chicken instead, but still enjoyed it). The stuffed cabbage was terrific - the server explained that they pickle the cabbage before rolling it, which gives a nice mixture of tomato and slightly sour flavor. I really enjoyed it. The dumplings that came with it were pretty good too. Very satisfying meal at a good price. They also serve beer and wine if you want it. The apple pie was alright; it was sweet enough and had fresh apples, butter could have used some spice and crust cooked longer. But overall a great spot and I'd recommend it.“

“Hands down our favorite place while visiting this area . My husband said it was so good he’d drive the 6 hours just to eat here again. I asked for something prepared a little differently due to an illness and the chef came out to chat with us to make sure! The way he prepared it was perfect! “The biggest advantage to the rails burgers is the beef! You can taste the freshness of the meat . Most places buy their beef frozen from the same wholesaler (nothing special) they try to set themselves apart by creating their own sauce but a great burger starts with fresh beef which the rail has perfected .“
