It's an old place where the locals seem to go and the service is quick and friendly. The menu is somewhat limited and the food was fairly bland.
Great European food. I have been going to this place since it's inception. I used to live in the neighborhood and now live in Akron which is a 35 minute drive and I still go there a minimum of once a month. The sisters who run it are great people and serve great food. The viener schnitzel, city chicken and cevapi are a must.
Maria's is a small ethnic restaurant with some quality eastern European food. I was hoping for chicken paprikash, but it is only available on Tuesdays, so I had the beef goulash. I also had a nice salad, served with a generous amount of bread and butter. I prefer a thicker gravy but the flavor was nice and the staff was very friendly and attentive.
