Nice people, a very clean outside. Inside dated and musty, especially the restroom. Bread was great. Salad dressing just meh. The liver was overcooked and mealy. The paprikas was flavorful but no sour sauce cream, why? I requested some sour cream, they had none in the building, really? Unbelievable to a Hungarian like me. The chicken was very tender without being mealy and dumplings were extremely dense. I will pass on this next time.Parking: Side street parking is dicey.

Stopped in today. I ordered viener schnitzel and home fries. Had a salad as well with fresh bread. Everything was very fresh. Schnitzel was very good and loved the home fries. My aunt got the city chicken. She liked it as well. This is a Cleveland Gem. If in the area it is a must stop!

Definitely a comfort food oasis with a Croation Flair. The Cevapi was tasty. the Vienna Schnitzel was mellow. Goulash hits the spot every time. Don't forget the Streudel. A short drive East on St.Clair lunch and dinner.Fine Wine List too. Perfect before a show at Playhouse Square.
You will always get hot soup and a delicious home made meal. I meet a bunch of old buddies at Mariea's once a month for a great meal and fellowship. We can take over a corner and get a little loud and it's all good. The Cevapi is also a favorite and you have to have the strudel to go. Highly recommended and helps support the old neighborhood. Live Free and enjoy great food.
