“Nice, friendly, little neighborhood bar. They don't have many specials to speak of, except for their happy hour, and I was really looking for a place to go watch browns games. I probably won't stop back but I can still recommend it as an everyday bar.“

“I had their chili it was so good I purchased one to go, I want to try their burgers they look great, they have $3.00 off of the burgers on Mondays !! The bar tenders are great as well , always smiling & outgoing!! They have pool tables & dart boards, which are great! The only bad thing I would comment on is late at night, (if you don't like rap I wouldn't go there, but there are people that do ), your choice, I see a lot of the younger generation up there, having a great time, and that is all that matters. “One of my favorites. The food and atmosphere are terrific. We prefer to sit in the booths near the fireplace. The service is good but not great. We’ve had a waitress a few times that is excellent but we’ve had a couple of other servers that were good but not great which makes the service a bit inconsistent for me. Overall we really enjoy coming here and would recommend for others.“

“Perfectly local! Who knew that tucked between a wine bar and a hip eatery was Tommy's Place, a neighborhood bar in the middle of downtown Rocky River. Tommy's is quiet, full of regulars, not to mention the smell of popcorn and skeeball are enough to make you want to come back. Sit at the bar or on the front porch, either way stop in, play some keno and stay awhile. Will definitely be back.“
“We were there for St Patrick's Day and I will say as busy as it was we were sat quickly in perfect booths. From the beginning our service was so wonderful the ladies were all so sweet and assisted each other servicing all of the tables so well. I got the pork shank with crispy brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes and my husband had a corned beef sandwich/w potato salad and we shared the Irish egg rolls and everything was delicious!!!! My only suggestion is not to cut the egg rolls as they cooled off too much B4 we got them but,, were delicious. The Guinness was fresh and my hubby loved it. I would highly recommend this establishment and their great employees.“

“This was our first experience with ordering from here. Fresh ! Fresh ! Buffalo chicken wraps, 1 with crumble, 1 with ranch and 1 with blue cheese dressing. All came with fries. Fries were good, plenty of ketchup and napkins. Food was hot, wraps were grilled and huge, vegetables inside fresh, chicken was crispy dressing was good. Loved this wrap! Next time I would skip the fries and only order wrap. Too much food. Lol. I also ordered Caesar wrap to try grilled chicken. Not my fav, but if it had shaved parm, and some tomato slices it would be great. Romaine was crunchy and chicken was hot. Just a little plain. Overall I'll say great first experience! “Went in here on a random Wednesday night. Plenty of pool tables (we didn’t get to play because a tournament was going on). The bar itself is huge and always has plenty of space. “After a long exciting day at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, we needed fuel before our return to Chicago. We googled "food near us", not wanting a chain. The rating was about 4.5 so we decided to try it. Initially I asked the other patrons if food is actually served there, and they pointed to an area where the owner was cooking. He was genuine and warm, we ordered beverages before he returned to the kitchen to finish another customer's food order. My gyros was terrific and flavorful and my husband's club sandwich was also loved. It was clear the French fries were fresh - we are some even though trying to hold up to our resolutions to eat more healthily. One comment mentioned by a previous reviewer, yes it is a bar with a grill and not a restaurant per se. It would be helpful if the ambiance was enhanced a bit so females felt more at home. The bathrooms could use some TLC, and the floor tiles a nail or two to prevent tripping. Looking at it through a new set of eyes is the way to go. Think: date not boy's club and attract a new crowd.
