“Phenomenal everything the service was exceptional and very Demure they are all very attentive and helpful with anything you ask for I love the Shrimp Tempura best I’ve ever had I believe my drink of choice was a Katakana with gin very fruit and delicious dessert was also nice and decadent great happy hour choices and the best part is you get to watch them create right in front of you, I recently went here for a friends date and I actually arrived earlier than her so they seated me at the bar next to to very sweet woman which one ends up passing out in my me due to her having just donating blood earlier in the day I had no choice but to jump into action and try to help revive her just wanted to thank the staff for their support and excellent communication they helped get her back comfortable safely and that showed that this place is more than just a restaurant I will most definitely be back ?“

“OMG, the chicken skewers here are so freaking good! The chicken is super juicy and tender, and the flavor is seriously on point. I was blown away by how amazing they were - like, how do they even get the chicken that tender and juicy?! And the flavor is so rich and satisfying. If you're looking for some seriously tasty chicken skewers, you've gotta try this place. Highly recommend!“

“My boyfriend and I have been exploring the world of sushi for the last year or so. We have tried a lot of different places and we have decided that Red Lantern has THE BEST sushi, hands down! The care and love that goes into every perfect roll is amazing. We just keep coming back! All the wonderful people who work here are warm and friendly. The space is comfortable and fun. “Cozy, hole-in-the-wall atmosphere, going for a traditional Japanese vibe crossed with a sports bar with some hanging lanterns and mounted TVs. The service was great, and the waiter/bartender was very kind and attentive! My friend and I got the Omakase for two (12 pc Veggie and Meat Skewers), and it happened to be steamed bun night, so we tried that, too. I also got the Plum Press cocktail. The drink was great, and honestly I barely tasted the sake in it. The steamed buns were decent, but I wasn't a huge fan - the sausages were probably the best part. For the skewers - my favorites were probably the mushrooms, the pineapple, and the potatoes for the non-meat ones. And for the meat ones - the pork and the chicken ones were probably the tastiest. Overall, a good experience, and I'm glad I checked it out. It was, however, a tad pricey.“

“The sushi was PHENOMENAL. Visiting for a conference and was craving sushi. Used grub hub for my delivery and was not disappointed. Everything was so delicious and VERY affordable!“

“I liked everything but the egg tolls, they were a bit too heavy and grainy for me, but the buckeye roll, the SF rice and the shrimp and chicken with broccoli and vegetables was the freshest Asian cuisine I have had in a very long time. I had stop eating Asin rice for a while because it would be hard after one day, but this rice is creamy and delicious. I would sub the spring rolls in place of the egg rolls, they cost a little more but they taste much better. Get that Buckeye roll for sure!!“

“I do recommend this restaurant however we had a bad experience for our very special date. We splurged and bought one of the most extensive rolls as well as I picked one other and my husband picked 2 others. I also got soup and we got a salad to share. The salad was terrible almost no sauce I felt like I paid $12 for a bowl of lettuce. The soup was fantastic. When we ordered we made sure to tell the waiter I do not like raw or spicy so we ended up buying the sora roll I believe it was called with no spicy mayo. It was a very expensive roll my husband and I were going to share. It had gold leaf on it and everything. We were very excited. When it arrived it was covered in spicy mayo. Out waiter refused to replace the roll saying it’s too expensive to replace offering an extra soup for each of us which we didn’t want we wanted our roll. Then stating we can come back on a Thursday and he would give us a 50% off a roll. We didn’t want that and we told him it was my dinner we wanted that roll. He said there nothing he could do even though he admitted he forgot to tell them we didn’t want spicy sauce. I left a restaurant spending over $100 and was still hungry bc I did t get 1/2 my meal and was not about to buy a second d one. My husband ate most of the roll since it was still left there but we asked him if he would take it back and make a new one or at least just give me a few pieces without spicy on it and they wouldn’t. I wanted to come here for a long time we don’t go out often. We spend t $10 to park and I feel they did me wrong. It’s a good place but I think our waiter ruined our night. He really should have brought me a portion of the roll without the spicy. He kept saying well did you even try it. It’s not that spicy what does it matter I asked for it without. And besides that my husband who does like spicy said it was mega spicy. Just disappointed with our experience but would go back to a woman waiter they seemed to know a lot more about the menu.“

“Very good Teriyaki. Made hot and fresh every single time. The meat is so flavorful after being nice and seared on the flat top griddle. The chefs are also very good at what they do to prepare the food on the flat top. You can get extra meat, extra veggies, extra noodles, white rice, fried rice, etc. I love getting extra mushrooms. Of course all the extras include a reasonable upcharge. The chicken and shrimp teriyaki over soba noodles with extra mushrooms and one spoodle full of teriyaki sauce. It's absolutely delicious ????“
