Service was excellent! But food was not great. I was hesitant to try this place based upon the mixed reviews but decided to go. The presentation was great but the food was overwhelmingly salty - I had the seared scallops. For the price, I have never experienced a non-delicious meal at this price level.

We were in Cleveland on business for a few days, and this was by far the best dining experience we had. The ambiance is great with areas segmented, giving a sense of coziness even though it is not a small establishment. We had cocktails at the bar before dinner. Big beautiful bar with great service and selection. Everyone liked what they had. I had the roasted pineapple margarita. It wasn't my favorite margarita, but that's just my personal preference...it was a little too sweet for me, and the glass was very sticky/sugary, but I was intrigued with the idea so i tried it. I just had to wash my hands before I wanted to touch... anything. At dinner the big round tables give plenty of room for food, comfort, and conversation. The Steak Cigar appetizers were loved by my colleagues... They were a bit rich for me but the taste was delicious. The calamari was perfect with a creative Wasabi aoli lighty drizzled. In our group, one had lamb shank, 2 had sea bass, one had Steak Diane. The lamb and steak were a 10 out of 10, according to my colleagues. I would give the seabass about an 8 out of 10, and likewise with my colleague who also had it. It was very good, but there was something slightly off with texture, and it was a tad on the bland side. I love Chilean seabass...who doesn't? And I'm used to just getting goosebumps from that first delicious bite of this delicate fish. Not quite the case here, but still very good. The asparagus was perfect. The service was top-notch. They were very busy with several tables of groups of business people from the same conference we were attending, and the server absolutely did not miss a thing. Oh! And the cornbread was a surprise and a treat! Old fashioned cornbread served hot in a little iron skillet! We half joked about wanting cornbread for dessert when she brought the dessert menu...and guess what...she brought us cornbread for dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant and will go again when in Cleveland.

Two of us have been to Cleve Chop, but our friends had never been there. Everyone was elated with the steaks we ordered. Two of us had the Caesar salad which we loved. My wife had the Tomato-Tamato salad which she really liked. I kind-of wanted the Short Ribs, but the restaurant was out of it (it was a Sunday) But my Filet was wonderful.

Perfect classy joint. Menu is decadent yet somehow totally reasonable even for lunch. Pace felt relaxed and with 'special occasion' level of attention, but still got back to work on time. The team, food, and ambience always makes you feel transported.

The food was very good, and is a very nice pleasant atmosphere. Our server was very attentive and friendly. It is pricey!

An excellent experience. Service was excellent. Food was too notch! The filet with crab and Bernaise was awesome. Loved the lightly breaded asparagus. The croutons in the salad were the best I've had. Awesome Eclipse themed Old Fashioned. Just a great meal and experience!

Came in today with my mom. It was our first time. Our sever Daniela (sorry if that isn't right) was amazing The food was amazing! I'm a picky eater and I asked if there was any seasoning on the filet mignon she said yes but let me tell you I didn't even notice!! Which is good for me!! Everything was delicious I would definitely come back!!

A weekend trip brought us to Cleveland and we just made a reservation on a whim. Certainly was not a swanky or classic steakhouse. But the staff was very nice and attentive. The drinks were good and the meal was great. I thought the prices were a bit high, but more than happy to pay them for the service and experience. After all, it is a vacation. Thank you Becca for the great service and recommendations for late night fun in Cleveland!

We are a family of 14 and were looking for an Easter brunch restaurant. We booked with Cleveland Chop and we were NOT disappointed! Margaret and our waitress were attentive and hospitable. The ambience is very welcoming and charming. The food was amazing with beautiful presentation. The desserts by Sherry were outstanding and delicious. We went back more than once! We highly recommend Cleveland Chop to everyone. If we could, we’d book for next Easter today!

Sharing feedback of our dinner experience. The ambiance was pleasant, the food was mediocre at best. I ordered a steak and Brussel sprouts. I felt the steak was over seasoned and the sprouts were charred. I did enjoy the complimentary cornbread and the crab bisque was delicious. My son had the lamb chop dinner with mashed potatoes, peas and carrots. He enjoyed his dinner. He also ordered the spinach risotto and only had one bite. In his opinion, it was unappealing.

Great food and atmosphere. Hibiscus cocktail was fantastic. The sea bass was good, but not worth the price point, I would probably go for a steak next time instead. The steak cigars were very filling! Corn bread was incredible and so was the calamari.

Had reservations for 5 on Saturday to celebrate a family event that they knew about because they asked but never acknowledged. Had to wait about 30 minutes for food to come out. 3 people ordered Med Rare steak.. 1 came out mooing, 2 were medium-well. no waitress for 20 minutes and we were starving so ate what we had. We told her but no real remorse. 500 dollars for a VERY disappointing meal.
