“We were in Cleveland for a concert, and found this little gem upon the recommendation of a very nice woman we met. Our GPS originally took us to the wrong establishment, but we were only a block off and found it quickly after the mix-up. Luis was our server, and not only was he helpful, but he was extremely personable. We will be back - both for the food, and for the warm and welcoming atmosphere therein.“

The area to eat is small but cute and there was also a bit of a funny smell like maybe cleaning products but it was off putting. “I went to Cleveland for my birthday and I love to just walk around new cities and try new coffee shops. We came across this shop and tried it out. I was expecting to get a coffee but a gentleman there stated that I should try to chai tea. Boy, was he ever correct. It had to be the most amazing chai tea I've ever had. It had a very smooth taste, with a nice hint of fresh ground cinnamon on top. Not overly sweet like a desert, but just right. The barista that works there was also very friendly and we chatted a bunch about a lot of cool topics. I definitely recommend it!“

“I come here every year when I go to CL. It is absolutely fantastic. Every time the server is very friendly and kind. We order a make your own bowl and they have countless options to choose from with tags. The food is so so SO tasty and very filling. They have so many smoothies too and they are so good. Everything is a very reasonable and affordable price compared to other trash restaurants like Dunkin and Starbucks which take 6$ for one small drink made up of sugar and ice water. If i could give this place over 100 stars I would.“

“I get food from here at minimum once a week, typically closer to twice. This is my favorite spot to grab food in Hingetown/Ohio City. You don’t have to be vegan to love their menu. I am never bored, and all of the staff I have interacted with are chill and friendly. Very excited to see what they do in the new space!My favorite menu items are the Blue Juice (recent obsession), the bravocado sandwich, and the Buffalo springpea salad. I love that most of the sandwiches can be a salad as well for the days I don’t want the bread. Best and most filling salads.“

“Let me start of by saying the staff and barista were amazing! She was so friendly, welcoming & knows how to have great conversation! She was knowledgeable and offered many suggestions which was great for a first timer like me.The smoothies are AMAZING and you have the option to THC infuse your drink. They do ask what strength you prefer and offer precaution not to drink them too fast!I was not able to enjoy the food as I’m on a strict diet but I heard it was great and would love to return and try it!All around a great experience and will definitely return!“

“Kafela is a St. Clair-Superior neighborhood gem! This breakfast and lunch cafe gives off such a positive vibe from the moment you walk in. I was greeted not only by a friendly face at the counter, but also many large green plants and sunlight filling the space. All of the menu items are named after locations and nods to sunny Los Angles. I got the Berry Much L.A. smoothie which was delish. I also got the Lavender Love Spell drink, which was lemonade with a lavendar butterfly tea that sparkled! For my meal, I got the chicken ceasar wrap with a side of sweet potato fries. The wrap was good. Classic caesar, although the chicken was well seasoned and I liked that the wrap was partially toasted. The sweet potato fries were delicious. When I inquired about the seasoning on the fries, I was told that they made their own sunshine blend to sprinkle on top. I couldn't place the flavors, but it was amazing! The star of my meal was the deep fried oreos. I wanted to leave with something sweet and these oreos did not disappoint! They had a chocolate drizzle and powdered sugar on top and came with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream. Fried oreos are usually only good when they're hot, I ate these cold all throughout the day and enjoyed every bite. The best part of Kafela is seeing how much of a gathering space it's become for people in the neighborhood. There were so many members of the community coming in throughout the time I was there to pick up a smoothie, order lunch, or just say hello and chat with the owner or other patrons. It truly felt like a place you could call home and I loved that.“

“I had an excellent first experience at MB nutrition. I wasn’t sure what to order, and an employee possibly the manager named Amber was knowledgeable and a huge help in deciding which drink to go with. Even another customer was kind in offering suggestions not only for the visit but future visits. Today (4/27) my drink was prepared by a guy and unfortunately I didn’t catch his name for a shout out but he said his usual location is Old Brooklyn. He was friendly and his vibe was very welcoming. It was like chatting with a friend. All workers and customers so far have made me feel comfortable being new trying the teas and shakes. I have been there now 3 times and can say I may be addicted to the mega teas. Amazing flavor to each drink I’ve had and very friendly staff. I Will be a repeat customer.“

“Okay so there is not enough smoothie Kings around Cleveland Ohio I'm tired of going to Pulp and wanted to try something different so beyond juicery I noticed there are a few around I usually order fresh lemonade from Pope which uses fresh lemons which I really love so beyond juicery does juices but they're lemonade is already pre-made and they just add fruit to it which I do not think that is a fresh lemonade if you are already using a juice that is already made.“

You cannot hold that against anyone or any organization. It is what it is. LaRonda works very hard to attract and hire people who can be trainable, teachable, and coachable in order to prepare them for a future in this industry. It's up to the employee to take the bait and work to better themselves. Every person I've encountered since their opening in 2021 has been professional, courteous and respectful to customers.In terms of food quality - TOP NOTCH! When your food is made FRESH and TO ORDER, you cannot expect to get it in a hurry, although there are many grab-and-go options to choose from if you cannot wait. It's also FIRST COME - FIRST SERVE. You cannot play leap frog and jump the line when there are online and call-ahead orders that need to be filled. If you're pressed for time, go somewhere else. It's sad that this has to be said, but it's horrible to slam a small-minority-owned business for no reason.My experience has been the best! Never had an issue. Food is always the best. Smoothies are delicious. Always courteous and professional. Produce are fresh. Variety to choose from. You can't ask for anything better. I am a daily patron and love the vibe and atmosphere.
