While the customer service was amazing my food was not good at all. My steak was barely cooked and the chicken was dry. The cabbage was over cooked and the rice was bland. It took almost two hours for the food. I was so disappointed because I had been waiting to finally taste it based off the google reviews.

We order our food over the phone. The employee taking our order said it would be an hour wait. We agreed we were okay with that. Well an hour turned into two hours and change. We placed an order for stuffed salmon, yellow rice, Mac and cheese, yams, fried fish, mash potatoes and broccoli. The Mac and cheese looked nothing like the advertisement. The mash potatoes were cold. The yellow rice was bland and I only receive 3 pieces of broccoli I kid you not. The stuff salmon wasn’t even stuffed forreal mostly regular salmon. This Was not worth the $60 or 2 hour wait. I get that it’s an up and coming business but time management is key. I can understand an hour wait but to extend that to two hours is wild and inconsiderate of your customers time. And for the food to be mid on top of that. Also the floor in the inside of the restaurant is sticky af like it hasn’t been mopped in a while. We didn’t know that before we placed the order unless that would’ve been our first red flag. Also the person taking our order was super nonchalant knowing we’d been waiting for two hours. I wanted to like this place. Was super excited to try this place. Only to be let down by the service.

Nice spot to grab a bite to eat! Every thing is fresh so come with patience. Listen to soulful music while waiting and or watch the TV. Dine in is also available… I recommend the wing dinner fried crispy with the creamy rice cabbage and mac! This place is a must try for sure whenever you are in the area.

The menu is filled with a wide variety of soul food options with reasonable prices. I ordered a Fish Po and I was not disappointed at all! I really enjoyed the setting and customer service. Definitely enjoyed my experience with a mighty delicious meal. If you ever are visiting Cleveland or even a local I highly recommend you to give this beautiful establishment some love & eat some amazing Cleveland eating. Also I ordered their house sauce and when I say it was hitting!! It was hitting!! Again I want to thank the wonderful staff for the service and I will definitely be there to explore more of yal menu & immaculate vibes.
