Came here while in town for work because it was a place I frequented back in grad school; it really went downhill! Maybe changed ownership? It’s too bad… anyway I ordered takeout, got an email saying it was ready, then when I showed up the person working apologized and scrambled to find my ticket and make the order. I couldn’t finish the food, I was afraid I’d get sick. Really, really not fresh or anything like I remembered.

Seems like it's primarily a takeout joint, but there's an option to get things for dine-in. That being said, the actual restaurant is rather small, with no public bathroom. There are maybe 5 tables total, all cramped together. The place seemed a little dirty, with both the floor and the tables being sticky. The food itself was the best part of the experience. I ordered a couple different things, just to try them - the beef noodle soup, curry beef stew rice bowl, Taiwan popcorn chicken, and matcha milk tea. The milk tea was good, and it was exactly what I wanted out of a bubble tea. The Taiwan popcorn chicken was a great shareable appetizer. The curry beef stew rice bowl was a bit bland in flavor, but everything tasted good overall. The beef noodle soup was great all around, however, I do wish the noodles were a bit tougher. It really felt like the noodles melted as soon as I tasted them. Overall, a decent experience. From what I gather, this really is the only place serving "authentic" Taiwanese food in Cleveland!***Pics - I put the takeout dishes into bowls for better presentation.

I ordered cold sesame noodles (Taiwanese noodles) and peanut butter chicken. The cold noodles were disappointingly bland and unseasoned. Part of the problem was that there was only a tiny bit of the sauce/paste. Stingy. But it also needed some soy sauce (none was included, which is okay because the soy in those little packets is always awful). Ok, I can fix that, sort of. The peanut butter chicken, at first, was tasty: hot and crispy, with the right amount of peanut butter sauce and sesame seeds. But after I ate some of the top pieces, I realized that underneath the top pieces, there was NO sauce at all, just breaded, unseasoned (again) chicken. Why?? Give up the sauce!

We were in the area and looking for something different. Found this place online and went there for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Upon walking in, we realized there was no room for us the eat. Just 4 hightop tables crammed in against the wall. The woman told us we can pull a table out and add two chairs. So we decided to stay. We ordered at the counter and sat down. The entrees came promptly but we had ordered appetizers and Won Ton soup. We had to start eating. There was barely enough room on the table for our four meals and 4 drinks. We had to ask for everything, napkins, water, sauce, take home boxes etc. Alert: the "3 cup chicken" meal is bone-in chopped thighs. It was very hard to eat because the bone fragments were small. You had to eat it with your fingers to sort out all of the pieces of bone. Flavor was OK, but very hard to eat. We ate our meals in reverse. When the soup and egg rolls came it had to be set on the next table because no room on ours . It sat there getting cold as we ate our entrees. Not what we were expecting, but we enjoyed our having dinner together. Just wanted to give a heads up on what to expect to anyone going there.

As a second generation Taiwanese immigrant, I am pretty critical of Taiwanese food. I decided to give Phusion Cafe a try because my friend spoke highly of it. The interior of the store is a bit sketchy, but the food is very affordable and the service is crazy quick. My boyfriend and I got our food within ~5 min of ordering. We took our meal to go, so the popcorn chicken wasn't as crispy anymore, which put a damper on our dining experience but of course was not their fault. The braised pork was a bit too salty and I felt that the zhajiang noodles could have used more topping (more sauce + meat), but overall the portion sizes were good and the flavors were pretty authentic. The seaweed that came with the braised pork was delicious. I couldn't get enough and would order a side of it on its own. Would recommend this spot and will likely be back to try more menu items!

DON'T COMEListen guys, maybe what I'm saying is unbelievable to you. Do not come to this restaurant, the food here is not safe!!! The pork has very visible hair on it and even the waitress confessed that she wouldn't eat that stuff. I've only been here twice and every time I've eaten here my stomach gets really upset afterwards!!! The food here is not fresh at all, I've had leftovers here before and it's awful! I don't know where those 5 stars come from, I really can't believe it.

I love it here! They are very nice people and they gave me peanut butter chicken dish that is my favorite. The lady up front even gave me the recipe to make the sauce.

I might be a little harsh, but when a Taiwanese American feels let down by a Taiwanese restaurant then you can expect some serious criticism. Was the food authentic? No. Was the food good? Err, I'd say it was mediocre. The popcorn chicken had the wrong type of breading and seasoning. Not bad as chicken nuggets but definitely not what they claim to be. Cold noddles had very one-noted sesame sauce and weirdly topped with seaweed. I tried to order boba tea but they had no boba :(

Food is decent. The taiwanese chicken was my favorite, 10/10. The beef noodle soup was ok, could have used a little more flavor. But the beef itself was so tender. The Taiwanese cold noodle was not too great. A little bland and all the noodles somewhat clumped together. We also got their lychee and passionfruit drinks. Strangely, they didn't have ice? So our drinks were lukewarm, no ice, and still a bit frothy. Also, customer service was a bit strange, as the person at the front didn't seem to know answers to questions I had about the food, very quiet, and just felt awkward overall.I'd come back probably for takeout and try some different things.

Food makes you feel it is home made. Just a small cozy place. A lot of reviews focused on the deco and condition. But I am truly amazed by the history of this place, and the hospitality the owner shows to all his customers. He would offer you different home made hot sauces to go with your dishes. Tried popcorn chicken, braised beef noodle soup, and minced pork noodle. All excellent! Nothing fancy just brings you nostalgia.
