We took a chance and went here before a Cleveland orchestra concert and it was a great decision. We had no trouble with parking, were greeted in a friendly manner and had a fantastic, affordable meal. The atmosphere was upbeat. The food was excellent! I mean, really excellent. Babaganoush was the best I've ever had. We will definitely be back!

Quite popular with locals. Good food. Slowish service. Would go again or get take out.

First, my fantastic orthodontist sent me, so this was a delightful surprise. Second, the restaurant was clean and offered a variety of choices. If y'all know me, then you know that proved to be a challenge. LOL The staff was friendly and informative, and they made selecting an entree easier by recommending an entree. They did not disappoint! Lots of flavor and heat!!! Plus, there was music, AND everyone was in a great mood. Best part. They offer Egyptian cuisine. Word to the wise: check them out!! I'm definitely returning. Sooner than later. :)

Lazy Saturday mid-afternoon before a Guardians game. Yelpers brought us here and it was near our Hotel in the Cleveland Clinic area. Probably disappointed based on the reviews. House salad is big and well worth the $6. Chicken soup seemed homemade and was very tasty. I had to send it back since nice it was room temp. That took some time. Hamburger was underdone and had to be recooked. That took some time. Coffee refill never arrived. Mixed day on performance. Based on their location the restaurant must be packed weekdays. I noticed Egyptian dishes on menu. That's interesting.

This was my first time there. I ordered the mixed grill dish, red velvet cake and the hibiscus punch! All delicious! Customer service was great also!

I would say this is a hidden gem- BUT they were crowded in a Monday and had a steady stream of take out business going on.The mango smoothie was so good, I was another person react positively when she took a sip and ordered on a whim. I was so glad I did, it was the right kind of refreshing! They were out of a Mexican coke, so my son got a Pepsi- we also got a cut to go because he didn't finish it all. He had the chicken tenders and fries app and it was more than enough for a meal. I had the half chicken, seasoned veggies and smashed potatoes with gravy. The seasoned vegetables were so perfect and spiced to perfection. The chicken was also wonderful. I enjoyed the potatoes and gravy. The staff were hustling, but were able to still give kind service with a smile. They also were attentive.Scratch made and delicious!Vegetarian options: Several options.EggplantDietary restrictions: Scratch made means easy to adjustParking: Minimal free parkingKid-friendliness: Kid menu that is a good array of foodWheelchair accessibility: Standard accessibility

The Urban Kitchen Deli looks like any random deli in a strip mall, but the food is phenomenal. They have American deli, Greek dishes and Egyptian dishes. One of the guys in our party had an Egyptian dish and didn't enjoy it so I suggest you skip the Egyptian part of the menu unless you are familiar with Egyptian cuisine and know what to expect.I had a corned beef Reuben sandwich. Actually, I had half a sandwich. It was piled high with excellent juicy corned beef and half the sandwich was the right amount for a dinner entree. The sandwich comes with French fries. These fries were the second best French fries I ever had. The best, of course, are from Thrasher's in Ocean City, MD and Rehoboth, DE.If you're in Cleveland, you should dine at the Urban Kitchen and Deli. Highly recommend.Parking: Lots of paid spotsWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
