“Egusi soup and Fufu, oxtails, Jollof rice is what I ordered and OMG it was AMAZING. My first time ever trying African food and won’t be my last. I was visiting Columbus this weekend and googled this place. Thank God I did!!! It also helped that they’re so friendly and professional, very patient in explaining the menu, and creating a friendly atmosphere ❤️“

“I decided to try Hoyo’s today at Bubbly Hall and it was fantastic. I had chicken, rice, spinach, and lentils. Very good portion size. The chicken was cooked perfectly. My 1 1/2 yr old grandson loved the chicken and rice. I will definitely be coming back!“

“Food is made fresh and fast! Staff is super friendly and patient and able to multitask so no one waits too long. I got a chicken quesadilla with an avocado smoothie and everything was delicious, especially the smoothie because I have a sweet tooth. Also got a sambusa before I left and I love it, everything tastes like home! Definitely stop in if you’re ever in the Cleveland-Morse area.Kid-friendliness: There’s tons of options that are all customizable, so your kids won’t feel left out and they’ll definitely wanna try one of the smoothies or mango juice!“

“We were looking to try African cuisine, and we came across this family-owned restaurant. The service was very generous and kind, and the food was delicious and satisfying. “It was our first time having Somali/Mediterranean food, and overall we were pleasantly surprised. Every meal is served with what we believe was Chickpea Zucchini Soup before the meal and a banana after the meal. For our main course, we had a variety of chicken, lamb, and steak and either basmati rice or spaghetti, all of which were seasoned and cooked nicely. This was definitely a unique experience, and we are glad to have been able to try it.“

“I tried the goat over rice, it was delicious. I love the Somali rice; basmati rice cooked in a rich stock, spiced up, and with a bunch of vegetables in it too. I also had a beef Sambusa. Portions were generous and goat was cooked to perfection. The mango juice was excellent too. Sambusa was great. I will definitely be back, and may also try the American dishes too. Menu includes pictures to help if you're not familiar with the cuisine. I was curious about restaurant's name and I think it means 'to come together'?“

“Came from detroit to visit masjid Asalaama for a lecture with Shaykh Omaisan and he and the masjid recommended this place. The place was very clean and the staff were very nice and courteous the food was excellent and the fish is amazing. Inshallah I will be visiting with my family to let them try it out. “I cannot get enough of their Pounded Yam FuFu and Egusi Soup. It is absolutely delicious! This was my second try at partaking in West African cuisine, after a not so impressive meal I had a few months back. I’m so glad I gave this place a try. Especially realizing that there are so many different interpretations of these dishes across the continent. Yam Fufu and Egusi Soup: The Fufu comes fresh, hot and the perfect texture for pulling. While the flavor is mild, it’s a wonderful companion to some of the more savory soups/stews. The Egusi Soup has a powerful, spiced and seasoned flavor profile. I did have to adjust to some of the thin fish bones in it - but not out of the ordinary or too unexpected when cooking with dried fish. The flavor it brings is worth the minor inconvenience. I get mine with the 2 chicken drumsticks - which are well cooked and also wonderfully seasoned. I’d like the option to order without a protein on Uber Eats, though. Jollof Rice, Plantains with Beef: The rice was coated and seasoned very well! I enjoyed the spice, flavor and texture of the rice. My beef was a tad tough. I really only wanted to try the rice, but on the Uber Eats app currently requires a protein - so, I’m not taking any points away for it. Plantains were *chef’s kiss*! If you’re like me and want to experience African cuisine from right here in Central Ohio - I highly recommend this place. Also, very good portions for the price.“

“It's so Amazing restaurant. At my first time I liked the food I ordered, its was rice and chicken suqar. But its cultural restaurant the way they treat the customers it's like I feel my home country although I left my home country when I was baby.“

“Excellent food and super friendly staff. We had the chicken and rice as well as the lamb and rice and both were fantastic. Full of flavor and you get massive portions. The pineapple juice was an excellent touch as well. 10/10 would recommend.“
