“I’ve never had a bad time at Eight and Sand. The food is beyond impressive and it is reasonably priced. You will not catch me missing the $1 wings every Tuesday and the veggie wrap is incredible. Don’t sleep on the weekly food specials they are always a tasty little surprise! Friendly outgoing staff all around, an awesome patio, and a chill vibe inside. It’s my very favorite bar, there isn’t another like it!“

“I returned. 10 years later. We had a fun lunch UYE after we moved 2 tables in the back together. I had Tito & Cran for a cheap $5. My turkey sub was hot and with crusty bread. I had a side of coleslaw. It is extra, because the subs are not accompanied with anything else. I will def. come back again sooner than 10 years. Tips: I do wish they had whole wheat buns for the subs, but they do offer wheat and rye for other sandwiches. The music/jukebox was a bit loud too.“

“Plain and simple, it's a real nice and friendly sports bar with lots of really good food and many beers.Eat in or carry out. Lots of TV 's & No kids! The staff seems to love working there.Kind of loud, but what do you expect... It's a sports bar.Using Google Map takes you the long way and gets you lost in the rear of a mall, but don't feak because you're there (only yards away, next to a bubble tea bakery. We ordered and ate a lot (all was good).Parking: Park in the mall once you find the place.“

“The food was amazing. Portions were not overwhelming, which i feel is a good thing. The atmosphere was good, but not amazing. Lighting was dim, but not dark. We had a party of 6 and got right in. The hostess was very helpful. There is some outdoor seating available. The bar itself had about 8 seats. It had a decent amount of local craft brews on tap.“

“Me and a friend went here for dinner and drinks, and it did not disappoint!! We shared the Margherita pizza, the arugula salad with the amish grilled chicken added on, and truffle fries. Each and every dish was SO YUMMY!!! And it was more than enough food for us to split among the two of us. The Amish chicken was divine, so tender & flavorful. Not only that, but our server was so kind and helpful with recommendations. Their drinks were 10/10 as well and strong! I ordered the why is it spicy and my friend ordered a mule. We were both pleased with them! The ambiance is lively and the inside is a great balance of rustic and cute. Great option for a girls night & date night. I will be coming again!“

“First off, the establishment is very well kept, spotlessly cleaned, floor to ceiling and well decorated, etc. I did not eat, but the food looked amazing, and the specials I heard that day sounded fantastic. I was also impressed that the chef (maybe an owner? IDK) came out to speak w guests, ask how everything was, he welcomed them to the establishment. It was great to see. Bar service was good, beer selection was good. Everything was excellent, TBH. It was an older crowd and pretty quiet for a Sat night.“

“Listen…First time..and it was SLAPPING food went ka-razy with a K… the food came out hot..if it’s bad there..they didn’t show any signs of it and I’m 1000% going back. Try the Veggie Sub…it’s going to change you for good. LolVegetarian options: I’m pescatarian and eat veggie meals mostly and I’m going back for their veggie sub..it’s really good.“

“We showed up around 4pm on a weekday. Later that night, they had trivia (so it gets pretty busy). Our server was awesome. Quick service and great drinks. After a couple of beers, I decided to get a pizza. The pizza was awesome. Just beware. This is a bar first, a restaurant second. I was told their oven could only bake limited things (limited pies). So, depending on how crowded it is and what is ordered, the time it takes to get your pie may be long. I got my pizza (well done), it was great.“

“A great south end family owned and operated neighborhood bar with a wide selection of drinks including cocktails, drafts, and a variety of bottles and cans. All are a dollar off during happy hour. I'm glad they brought in Philgeddaboutit to run the kitchen; finally, someone that provides "bar food"! Friendly bartenders, but sometimes service can be a bit slow. If you visit, know you must order everything at the bar, there's no table service.Pros: It's 300 feet from my house.Cons: It's 300 feet from my house.“

“Went for lunch today with some friends. Food was delicious! Everyone really liked their meals. The place is so cool, definitely going back. Not a big golfer, but saw some kids playing really fun games. Definitely recommend the Clubhouse burger and the fish and chips.“

The menu is great, the food is delicious, and it’s just a cool, casual place to hang out.Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian offerings, and they are willing to modify dishes to make them veg friendly (nachos, for example). “The food is phenomenally delicious. The sausage in the Italian Sausage and Peppers is, I believe, the best I've ever had. It was fragrant with herbs and spices before I even got it into my mouth. We shared, so I also had the Crispy Chicken Thighs. They're boneless and breaded, and again fragrant with subtle flavors, and juicy and just delicious. The Potato Pancakes as the appetizer were small and crispy and subtly oniony. They were great with and without cheese and bacon loading. I was amazed by the high quality at the very reasonable prices in a fairly plain tavern. Don't hesitate!“

“Place was clean and good decor. Two pool tables. Had the J*** Cuban. Enjoyed the sandwich but could taste grease in fries. No Keno but they are in the process of obtaining the rights. A person doesn't live on alcohol alone. Friendly bartender and attentive to the point i had to say "I'm good". Lol. Keep in mind this was a Monday evening. Wasn't very busy.“

“We love Downtown Tabby!! More importantly our kitties appreciate Ellie and Devon’s gentle handling! After grooming they smell wonderful and feel so soft we can’t stop petting them. ZuZu and Milo have been going to DT since they were kitties. ? Ellie and Devon are committed to continuing education and their facilities are immaculate. “Rude Dog is much more of a bar vibe than a restaurant. Dark, lots of TVs, a little run down. This is not a complaint because I love a sports bar, but it was different than I expected. The food was pretty average for a bar. The pizza was clearly prepared without much care and the salad we ordered was sad (see pictures). Stick to fried stuff and you'll be good. Stand outs were the crack tots (tater tots tossed in dry rub) and the giant cookie my son is still talking about. The upgrade to a fourth star was because of the awesome service we experienced. Even though it was pretty busy, the servers took excellent care of us and followed up to check on us multiple times. This would definitely be a solid choice to watch sports and grab a bite and a brew.“

“Classic dive bar with a lot of regulars parrot I had heard about the hamburger here and was disappointed when I got it. It was overcooked and a little dry as well as overseas. I was confused because their reputation was they served a great burger. But I'll try it another day“

“Stopped in here looking for a sunny patio and Junior's did not disappoint!Monday Special was $15 for 3 tacos and a margarita. Al pastor was excellent. They have a chocolate cake that is amazing. “Great place ....The food is amazing and drinks hit the same, I recommend this place to everyone because you can't get better wings and service. The owner is very cool and it's always a good vibe , nice to relax to music and a margarita after a hard days work..... I can't wait until I find time to come get me some more.... “First time here! Food was really good and you get a good amount. Had the Pelican, which is one of their top meals, turkey sandwich and chips. Our guy did everything to make it a great meal. Ordered a drink he wasn't familiar with but did a great job with it. Best part? The baklava. It is probably the best I've had!“
