Run, don't walk to this restaurant. Absolutely delicious! We visited during COVID and picked up through the drive through, which is still available, but this time we decided to visit. We didn't have a reservation so we sat at the bar. It did get fairly busy on Sunday afternoon so a reservation may be helpful. They have a nice selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks but we just opted for a couple beers on draft. We ended up ordering the chicken and rice noodles, pork lumpia and the bbq chicken skewer. Everything was so good! The rice noodles were cooked perfectly and the flavoring on the bbq chicken was amazing. We also tried the halo halo dessert which also did not disappoint. Great service and wonderful food!

This is place is a gem! The ambiance is casual and comfortable. The service was over the top friendly and helpful. And the food was absolutely delicious. We didn't have a bad bite! Even my very picky young children tried and more importantly - LOVED all of it. Declaring it their new favorite restaurant. If you're checking things out wondering if you should give it a try - stop your search and get there immediately! You won't be disappointed.

As a Pinoy, who grew up on Hawaii, I love to experience Filipino cuisine in all parts of the world. This restaurant is one of two (the other is Mexipino in San Diego) that successfully blends the authentic flavors of Filipino cuisine but gives it a modern feeling where you experience classic flavors in a new light. Also, the food was just FUN. Add amazing service and great prices, I can see why Columbus has embraced Filipino cuisine as Bonaficios has found the magic spot to appeal to all patrons. I can't wait to come back.

Bonifacio is a super popular place. There were four of us and the place was overflowing, but since we had reservations, we were seated right away. It's got a nice ambiance (a bit loud, but that's becoming normal in restaurants these days). The service was polite and efficient. I have to say that i was less positive about the food than my fellow yelpers here and honestly was oscillating between 3 and 4 stars. The appetizers were excellent. I especially liked the sautéed bok choi -- it had a sweet and savory taste and was yum. The eggplant was also pretty good, although needed a bit of salt. The tofu was nice and crispy. For my main course, I got the adobe ribs, which were well prepared and tender, but lacked flavor. My wife got the chicken sizzling sisig, and it just okay. I would probably come here again for lunch but definitely the dinner doesn't live up to the hype at least for me. If you come here on a weekend evening, either make reservations or be prepared for a wait.

One of the best restaurants in Columbus for many years. The adobo is fantastic, especially the ribs. The green beans and bok choy are great. Even the rice is good. And the full desert and cocktail program looked fantastic.

This is a really cool spot, and sometimes ya hate to leave a bad review, but as a foodie you have to inform. Tried several menu items including the crispy green beans, tofu chicharron, pork lumpia, and sisig. The lumpia (spring rolls) were delicious but everything else lacked flavor. The pork sisig was basically tiny pieces of pork belly on a skillet that caused the pork belly to become burnt. The crispy green beans were not crispy. There was no breading or anything to add flavor. Chicharron had a delicious sauce and the tofu was crispy, but there was zero flavor to the tofu without the sauce. Tofu should have had a base flavor added or marinated into it before making it crispy.Overall: they really need to work on their menu and flavors. The dishes none of them felt appropriately sized for an entree.

Visited on 04APR2024:Great: The food was really tasty, especially the potatoes, garlic rice, lumpia, and desserts. The sauces really added a lot of great flavor and didn't overwhelm the food. The mocktails were delicious.Good: The chicken and pork were good, but tasty very charred. The restaurant is small and can get very cramped when full, otherwise the atmosphere was lively.Bad: Nothing bad to note.

I tried bonifacio twice and the second time was much better. Everything was warm and seasoned well.

Amazing vegan food, lovely staff and we got some veggie lumpia on the house as we had a reservation and it took a very long time for us to get seated!. Make sure to reserve a table as they are consistently packed. My only complaint is that they don't have tons of parking but you can easily street park

I love this place. The flavors are wonderful. I grew up eating Filipino food because my best friend’s step mom was Filipino and eating here reminds me of my childhood. She was a good cook, but I think these people do it even better. Both the chicken adobo and the chicken pyanggang were so good. I also love the pork lumpia. I can’t wait to go back and try more.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Columbus! The food is amazing. I probably have been here 4-5x over the past few months and every time the food is consistent and delicious! I’d highly recommend the escabeche (tilapia)! Their food is authentic, fresh, and I love the concept of small-medium plates to share. They give great portion sizes and it’s very affordable. I also love their halo dessert.

With the dishes being “ala carte,” our waitress suggested our group approach the menu “family-style” —— this was an awesome suggestion! Everyone had a chance to try a bit of several things and each dish came with plenty to share (even the proteins were more than one serving).I tried the Tofu Chicharron, Inasal, and several gulay options, and everything was delicious!Dietary restrictions: Much of the menu is gluten free, which was great for my 3 family members with Celiac disease! The waitress let us know that they clean and change gloves between items for allergies/intolerances/etc. but that the equipment for lightly frying some of the vegetables is not dedicated GF. That being said, no one in my group experienced any reactions to or symptoms of cross contamination in the days following, which suggests that if there was *any* cross contamination, it was very low!
