There were just two major turnoffs on our visit 1. Our reservations were for 9:30 and didn't get seated till 10:10 ( multiple other parties arrived after us and were seated). 2. Service- We barely saw our server, as they were focused on what looked to be at wrapping up the night vs their tables. The food was really good, Calamari was some of the best we have had, we were disappointed that we didn't get to try desserts as we felt rushed by the time we finished our meal being one of the last parties in the restaurant.
Service was impeccable from start to finish. They remembered that it was our anniversary and we got the best table in the house. Our waiter was amazing and the food was so delicious. Everything was perfect. Thank you again. We had a wonderful time.

Celebrating a special occasion with the family. A great place to do it up. Great selection of steaks and preparations. Shrimp cocktail had nice big fresh shrimp. The dining room was very pleasant. Server was friendly, yet refined. It was an excellent experience.
Hyde Park is Truly the best High Quality Steak House in town for the value. Yes some may feel it's expensive but the team consistently delivers a lot for the price. The 12oz Fillet and the enormous tomahawk steak are some of the best cuts in the world. Live Music every weekend, wonder wine and service staff that pay attention to every detail. The GM makes a point of checking in with every table. I cant see enough great thing's about HP!
Poor cut of ribeye-not worth the $ Person who brought out plates did not know whose dinner belonged to who. Then did not listen and just set them down at the wrong person, reaching across table to do this. We did get free desert for this. Not the quality of food or “proper” service you would expect for a steakhouse at this price point.
Could not have picked a better place for a 10 people reservation. Food and service were impeccable!!! They seated us out of the main dinning area so it was quiet and easy to have a conversation involving the whole table. Live jazz music coming from the other room. Everyone in the party seemed very pleased.

Wow, what a wonderful evening. Have been to this restaurant group locations many times but the first time to their Short North Columbus, OH location. FABULOUS. The waiter was great and the food WONDERFUL. A couple new items on the menu that we tried that was DELICIOUS. This is more than a gem experience and for business meeting, romance, anniversary, pre- theater. You can not beat this experience. You have to try the Butter Cake Banana Foster Desert. OMG if you want a taste of Heaven while you are still breathing, this is it.
Service was so slow- it was shocking to me to charge that much for food and to have such inattentive service. We sat with our closed menus for too long. The table next to us had said it had been an hour since they sat down, and still their food hadn't arrived. If you're going to charge this much for food, then maybe try not to seat so many tables so your service can be managed. The server was so apologetic- clearly not his doing.

Paul was our server. He was amazing. Easily the best service we've experienced at Hyde Park. We were celebrating my husbands bday and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely evening.

Excellent meals, great sides, impeccable service and a colossal piece of red velvet cake.
We had a goup of 6 go for my daughter's 17th birthday and it was our first time dining there. Andrew our waiter was amazing and even though we've never met, he was spot on with all his recommendations for the table. His service was fantastic. Then of course the food was wonderful!! Our steaks were cooked exactly how we wanted, you HAVE to get the gratin potatoes and bananas fosters dessert! It was a really fantastic experience!!
It was a celebratory occasion! It was for my birthday. The staff and the managers were exceptionally kind to me. I shall return & I appreciate all the efforts to make my day special.

The food was expensive for the quality. Bought the 26 oz 40 day aged bourbon steak and it was definitely no bigger than 16 oz... for $82 that was frustrating and disappointing! Expected more quality from this restaurant. We had a party of 6 and it was nothing close to what we had expected... ordered crab “cakes” and one came out for $24??? Cakes is usually pleural meaning more than one.. so that should be changed on the menu and the price should reflect that.
