Amazing deserts made by amazing people, along with the fact that it’s always freshly made every single day makes this a place worth traveling to. This I ordered the Chocolate Mousse, Creamsicle, and Strawberry Cheesecakes.03/17/24 - I recently revisited The Bearded Baker and ordered Chef Estep’s Milk Chocolate Cheesecake. First time tasting this flavor and YUMMY! Maybe my new flavor. Thanks, chef.My new favorite bakery. Recently, I have visited The Bearded Baker 3 times in about 10 days. Probably one of the best cheesecakes (assorted flavors) I have tasted and devoured. The bakery is located inside the Eastern Market. If you enter from Kelton Ave (glass doors), The Bearded Baker will be on your left. You may see the owner magically creating his delicacies and his staff, Kylie is ready to take your order. Nice and friendly service. Prepare for an explosion of deliciousness that awaits your taste buds. Free parking spaces and free street parking. They offer a rewards program. Prices are worth every cheesecake!

My husband brought me one peanut butter cookie on his break and I went back to the bearded baker for six more, not even an hour later . It was the only thing on my mind . Excellent flavors and super soft cookie that’s the perfect size .

The only reason you're getting a 4 star instead of 5 is because the prices were a little higher than i would have expected. My wife got the Key Lime pie and i had a snickerdoodle sandwich cookie. The total was 11 dollars for those two items so just a little bit more than i would have thought. They were both delicious items though and we will most likely get something there again when we return to the market.

The cheesecakes are wonderful. That's all we were able to try because we didn't have room in our tummies for cookies. But we can't wait to try the cookies as well. Everything was fresh and just the right amount of sweet, not to sugary and not at all bland. The prices meet the standard for baking when it comes to service and time.
We tried cheesecake, peanut butter cup cookies, and apple pie cookies and they were all delicious; BUT…..my husband and I agree that the apple pie cookie is the BEST cookie we have ever had. Thanks for an awesome treat at the East Market!

Love this baker. WOW. The taste, the texture, the mastery.- omg - the Original Cherry Cheesecake! (immaculate conception)- omg - the Pineapple Upside Down Cake! (ohhhmg … o . m . g .)- omg - the Oatmeal Cookie Sandwiches!! (seriously, a must)- omg - the Banana Cream Pie! (unexpectedly amazing)- ohhhhmg y'all - GOooo, NOW. lolololThe staff is great and the storefront is on point. Instant customer for life (it's that gooooood!) – been twice and can't wait for the next hundred visits. So happy I now have a second absolute must go-to baker in town.
