This was our first time and we loved the restaurant. It had a very cozy chic vibe. The cocktails were original and a mix of interesting flavors. The food was very good especially the scallop starter. We will definitely be back.

Went there for birthday dinner. The restaurant is adorable and very cozy. Our waitress was great and checked on us the perfect amount. The cocktails were great and the food was great. I want to go back and just get a large salad it was so good

First I want to say that Noah was a fantastic server and we appreciated his up beat energy and knowledge of the menu and recommendations. We expected a small issue with timing of entrees being delivered but Noah could not have been nicer and worked quickly to solve the problem. Would definitely dine here again.

Dinner was good waiter was very nice. Close to finishing our food the manager that day came to our table, she didn't ask about our meal or experience. She did even introduce herself, but informed us that reservations are only 1 and a half hours, and they have another reservation for our table so we will need to finish and leave! Our waiter was very apologetic about her lack of professionalism. I will never go back that was the first time I've ever been treated like that in a restaurant!

beautiful spot for a nice dinner! the ambiance is refined without being snobby; clean, comfy interior with low lighting is perfect for an intimate dinner. service is so nice and recommended great drinks and dishes based on our preferences. i can't remember all we got but the focaccia was a crowd pleaser and my chicken entree was perfect. i would love to visit again!

I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friend's home. The apps were very good...telephono (cheese sticks) is yummy. They should bottle and sell the marinara sauce. The focaccia bread taster was delicious! Our server was wonderful and attentive without intrusive. I feel like I'm at home here. The Sycamore salad was a disappointment to all three of us... too much kale and parsley I think & not enough flavor. Our waiter was very apologetic and offer to make it right with another choice. We opted for dessert which was very good. We will return, as The Sycamore has become one of our favorite places to go.
This place is an absolute gem! The food is absolutely amazing, the scallops for appetizers were fresh and tasted amazing. Our entrees were the Chicken thights, a hamburger, and the Short Rib Ragú. Everything was just Superb! One can taste the love that goes into cooking unique, special products. Beautifully prepared dishes with multifaceted flavor profiles. Obviously. A chef who still cooks and, most importantly, who cares. An absolute must try! Lastly, creating the perfect ambience is about incorporating lighting, decor, color scheme, textures and more into a restaurant to match the intended vibe. Sycamore's ambiance was able to successfully incorporate all of these for the perfect ambiance! Well done! Our dinner ended with the buckeye dessert and ice cream. Delicious!
Our experience was unfortunately extremely poor- our server who later claimed to also be the manager, when we called to speak to a manager- was rude, rolled her eyes and made sarcastic comments to us when we voiced our concern and frustration at how we were treated. We are forever tainted by this extremely distasteful experience. We will not be returning to Sycamore or referring it to anyone we know.

Fabulous experience at Sycamore with impromptu seats at the bar. Started with a huge salad and the sticky carrots which had a bit of heat -- both were delicious and the salad was big enough to be an entree salad. Ravioli and Veggie Tagine were both fantastic. Complex seasoning and flavors and both vegetarian. Finished off with a strawberry rhubarb pie a la mode. Everything was excellent. And the service was outstanding.
I came here by myself for a night out treat and really enjoyed it! I sat at the bar and received full menu service. The bartender was amazing and made me feel at ease especially by myself. The atmosphere otherwise was quite loud and made it a but tough to really enjoy the experience, but honestly it was great otherwise. Regardless, the food was great. The short rib ragu was excellent. The noodles on top hid the short rib, which made it fun to mix it all together to get the full experience. And I finished off my meal with a slice of pecan pie, at the bartender's recommendation. I looked at the menu in advance to get an idea of price, and for a single night out it still ended up being a bit more than I had intended. I do still recommend the Sycamore but for more of a special night out and not so much a casual gathering.

Everything was delicious...the scallops and ravioli were the favorites. Drinks were tasty and beautifully presented. Our server was perfect; knowledgeable, friendly and gave us plenty of time to catch up with old friends. Love this place ❤️

Small restaurant in German Village. Make a reservation unless you like sitting at the bar.We got the Housemade Focaccia to start. It is awesome.Garden Pickle Salad to share. Pretty good. The dressing was very tart. Salads are a whole entree portion so share them or get them for dinner.Their suppers all looked good and made it hard to choose. For supper we got the Cuban and the Ravioli. Cuban was awesome and Ravioli was good too.We got the chocolate chip cookie with gelato for dessert. Of course delicious.Old Fashioned was great and my wife's mocktail she enjoyed but was very sweet so she could only do one.Ben was a great waiter with great recommendations and attentive service.
