Do NOT hold a banquet or wedding reception at Understory! We attended one last month and it was bad. Here are a few things that happened. 1. They ran out of food so the last table did not get any. 2. They had 1 server for 100 guest. 3. They did not serve the bread until after half the guest had been served. 4. The did not cut or present the cake as promised and once they did there was no silverware to use to eat the cake. 5. The Valet was charging guest to park but the bride and groom had paid for the service to be complimentary. They did not serve the correct portion size of the main dish as they were both much smaller then promised. They do not have it together and it shows. The only highlight was the bartenders. They did a great job but were embarrassed by the way things were done. They need to hire someone who actually knows how to run a banquet!
