“My husband and I came here on a whim after seeing good reviews online. I was not prepared for how good it was! We tried the samosa of the month which was mac and cheese. I expected it to be like a mac and cheese bite or something but the mac and cheese filling was amazing! The exterior was crispy, flaky and delicious. Hands down the best samosa I've ever had! My husband got a chicken kebab wrap which came with fries and he loved it. I got the NY Gyro plate with lamb (photo) and couldn't have been happier. I'm always wary of getting lamb for fear of it being tough but it was tender and full of flavor. The bed of saffron rice was perfectly cooked and I'm usually an onion hater but the small amount of onions in it were soft and almost as flavorful as the lamb.They're moving down the block apparently but we will definitely be back! The owners were very nice and I will be recommending this place to everyone. Everything was very reasonably priced and if I loved closer, I know I'd be getting takeout regularly. A total hidden gem!“

“I was looking for an Indian buffet in the Columbus area and Amul was recommended to me. The interior had a lot of seating and the buffet selection is in the back corner. There was a separate station off to the side where they have samosas, puri, etc. Such a unique buffet offering that I really enjoyed. Great selection! Veggie pakoras, saag paneer, chicken makhani, etc. The highlights for me were the goat curry, tandoori chicken, and the pani puri. The service was great. Every time there was an empty plate in the room or a low glass of water, someone came around to take care of it. Buffet lunch on a Saturday was $18.99. A bit pricier than what I'm used to, but worth it!“

“Got carry out to try and will be back! Food was ready in 20 minutes and was packaged well. The portions were generous. The spice level was on the spot. I tried the chicken tikka masala. It was a pleasant change from what I expected, with green peppers and onions in a creamy golden sauce. The chicken was tender. The garlic naan was also amazing. “Great Indian cuisine! Ordered through DoorDash and the food arrived perfectly. Great portion sizes for the price. I wish they would have split the rice up instead of doing one big container. The chicken tikka masala was creamy and delicious, as was the naan. Spice level 2 did not have any spice in my opinion, and level 4 had a little bit. I’ll have to try out different spice levels next time. Absolutely no complaints, we will be ordering again!“

“I ordered the "dumpster" fries and margherita pizza. Both were delicious. The fries had an amazing chicken in them, and the pizza was a very interesting combo of flavors with dill sauce, jalapenos, and tomatoes.I'll definitely eat from here again, but I'll probably consider take out rather than dine-in because it's a challenging location for seating. The weather was nice so I sat outside, but that won't always work. Overall, I absolutely recommend that folks give the food here a try.Vegetarian options: There were options for meat free pizza and side dishes.“

“This has been our takeout staple for us for 5 years. In that time, we have never had an inaccurate order. The staff consistently packs things very well and have not had any spills, even with larger orders. The food is excellent and is what exposed me to Nepali food. I would recommend the chicken Momo's.They can get busy with takeout orders, and appear to be understaffed for some busier events, such as restaurant week. However, for takeout they are generally accurate in terms of pickup time and usually do not have to wait long at all. They are responsive on the phone, so I'd definitely recommend calling to place your order and pickup yourself - it saves you and the restaurant a lot of money.I definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys this cuisine!“

“I have been eating at Indian Oven for about 15 years and have recommended it to countless people. It is my favorite place to eat! But...I am disappointed that you have changed your butter chicken recipe. It has always been my favorite thing to order. Recently, it was not as flavorful and a bit watered down. Change it back please!!! PS....I liked it cut up in the small pieces too. Sorry, I had to remove a star.“

“My husband and I stopped in here for lunch. It was delicious! We LOVED the mango lassi! Service was great, staff was very nice and our food came out quickly which is great because we were on a bit of a time crunch. We’ll be going here again when we come back to Columbus.“

“I hesitate to leave this review because we love Aab so much. However, our most recent visit on 3/12/2023 was less than stellar from a service aspect. So, let me first state the good that was overshadowed by our “head waitress”: 1) The host was friendly and prompt to seat us, and provided several refills for us throughout the evening. 2) The “assistant waitress” filled in the gaps and voids left by the person I assume was supposed to be our waitress. She was friendly, prompt, and available. 3) The food was tasty, high quality, and fresh as we’ve come to expect from our favorite Indian restaurant in the area. Unfortunately, the poor experience we had was squarely on the “head waitress”. A couple of the lowlights: 1) the first time she came to the table she didn’t introduce herself, but complained about how busy she was, and how long we were going to have to wait. Let me be clear, she wasn’t setting expectations, she was complaining about her night. 2) The assistant waitress took our order, then five minutes later, the head waitress comes out with our ticket to confirm our order. Of course the assistant had everything correct, so she only delayed our order. 3) Our entire time at Aab, we heard the head waitress complain to anyone who’d listen how busy she was. If you’re truly that busy, then work at a pace faster than a tortoise and stop complaining to everyone. 4) At the end of our evening, she performed the only duty of a waitress during our time, which was bringing our check. Instead of thanking us, she went into a long winded, rehearsed monologue about how she hoped the slow kitchen didn’t ruin our evening (actually it was you who ruined it), and then capped her poor performance off with a highly distasteful “joke” about the recent train derailments in Ohio. She was completely in poor taste, and I wish I had let her know in that moment. We will still go to Aab, but I will refuse sitting in her section if she is on the clock when we’re there. I only mention any of this because I hope she sees this as constructive criticism and realizes she’s in the service industry, not the “let me ruin your evening by telling you my sob story” industry.“

“We DoorDash from here all the time. I've never been to the actual restaurant, but we love their food! My husband orders butter chicken and I order butter paneer almost every time, and both are always excellent. The "eat-in" restaurant prices and their DoorDash prices are the same (at least according to the DoorDash app). This could be a five star review but the to-go packaging isn't great. Today the butter chicken spilled all over in the bag, which was a mess (still delicious though). The rice comes in a styrofoam box that latches closed so it isn't super secure. The curries come in a plastic container with a lid, but today it leaked all over inside the paper bag. If they would fix this problem, we would consider it a five star DoorDash option.“

“Amazing Food and Amazing owners. I ordered Nihari and Seekh Kabab and was 45 mins late but the owner kept the shop running and understood that it was out of my control. He was really nice about it too. The food was fresh and extremely tasty. I Dont live in Columbus but will definitely find reasons to go back because I wanna order more things and try them out as well!“
