“The Hilliard Yabo’s is an awesome place to eat and hang out with friends. The food and drinks are very good. They also have held a few bourbon tastings there also. You get to taste bourbon and learn a little more about it. They also pair up a taco that goes well with each of the bourbons. It was very well organized, informative and just plain fun! Can’t wait to do it again!! So if you’re looking for a great taco place, don’t hesitate to stop in and try the Hilliard Yabo’s!Parking: Plenty of parking in front of Yabo’s and in a lot across the street from them.“

“We went on a tour here to learn about how they make their spirits. The tour was great, and our guide Maggie was very informative while being casual and easy to talk to. I would love to go back and meet their spirit master Adam. Prices are average compared to other places in Columbus. Vodka and gin are very affordable without tasting cheap. Only negative is there isn’t much parking. Overall I am more than satisfied with my experience here. Can’t wait for the bourbon to be released!!“

“We waited 20 minutes beyond our reservation time to get seated, our waitress forgot app. plates, and didn't get utensils so we had to wait after our apps. came to flag her down. We constantly had to flag her for things because she never came to check on us. Food was good, but not up to its usual standard. It was Mother's Day, so I understood it was busy, but it was not up to the higher standard I expected from this restaurant specifically when you're spending the amount of money you spend on a meal there.“

“We receded right away upon arrival. As is often the case, the food was amazing. But our server, TJ, was not up to the normal Cameron Mitchell standards. Although we were not his only table, he seemed easily distracted by other guests. When he input our appetizer order, we ordered two of the same thing but he must've only put in one so that when it was delivered to the table we were missing The other item. It took him several minutes to realize it and then an additional amount of time for them to make the appetizer and bring it to the table. He was also slow to notice our beverages needed refilled. When drinks were ordered, he was slow to get them to the table. But from where we were seated, we could see that the drinks have been made at the bar.“

The short ribs special was very good and we all agreed that the bay scallops and shrimp risotto is an outstanding dish! The entire staff is very friendly and for a busy Saturday night, we enjoyed excellent service! Highly recommend this lovely restaurant in downtown. “This is a neat place just disappointed in not getting a side with our burger. My husband and I got an order of wings and two burgers. To our surprise the burger doesn't come with fries or chips. We did think to ask the server because burger and fries are a staple in American food and that's not something they offer together as a meal on the menu. If I'm paying $9.50 for a double cheeseburger I better get a mind blowing burger or a burger and fries. Neither of which we got. 4/5 not for the food but for the serves from our server and the atmosphere of the pub.“

“We ate on the patio, which was perfect. A little quieter than inside, and I love that they have ceiling fans out there. Even on a hot day, there's some air movement. The food was spot on. I had the shrimp & grits, which were delicious, and my husband had the blackened shrimp and gumbo. Too spicy for my blood, but he loved it.“

I was a bit floored to start with when they were giving me a tour, Chef Hubert was private Chef to the King of Spain for four years. Pretty epic connections, apparently Charlie Trotter worked here for a time and a few chefs have Alinea ties. Apparently some big names come here, Warren Buffett closed the deal to buy RR engines and the Ohio gov is a regular. I've never said this about a restaurant before but I was very impressed by the art. Salvador Dali, Chahuli and some awesome new age stuff I'm not familiar with.“

“We have held luncheons here twice, and both times, the service was OUTSTANDING. The ambiance is casual and fun, and the food is fabulous and the portions large. Blarney Stone cheese curds are the absolute best I have ever had. HIGHLY recommend!!“
