“Today I will be reviewing 4stars.I’ve gone before and rated 5stars. But this time I am disappointed, had to ask a few times for the same thing, and also my fish came with a lot more black peppers ( like if the cook, accidentally dropped the whole black pepper container on the pasta). I mentioned to the waiter and he said, that the pasta is always like this. Which he is incorrect and I’ve eating there before and did not have any problem. So, this review is just for the restaurant to pay attention.“

“Since the first time I had Tripi, shortly after they opened, it has become an absolute staple in my Near West restaurant rotation. Everything on the menu is solid. If you’re a fan of Italian subs, the Papa Tony is quite possibly the best one I’ve ever had. The combo of the meat quality, muffuletta and the fresh giardiniera (which is insane) is pallet-changing. Eat here.“

“The bread and sauce that were brought to our table was perfect. I had the Turkish Pizza which tasted so fresh and vibrant. So unique! For dessert I had the kunefe. I highly recommend this restaurant. They even have a lunch menu that has the same great food! Our server was a young Turkish woman and she was wonderful. The atmosphere is very relaxing too. “I like their pizza, garlic bread with cheese , Chix wings & meatballs. I just looked at their menu. I have never had anything from here I didn't like. Tenders - yum - poppers - yum - onion rings/mushrooms -yum . My one & only gripe is the size of the sausage on the pizza. Wish it was bigger pieces. The pizza here is that 70's style pies I grew up on. There are 6 pizza places 1.25 miles near/from my house. Athens wins out. I have not tried the pizza place in the old Uppercrust Pizza spot. You cannot go wrong at Athens Pizza for satisfying food.“

“We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at Luca. I selected ‘anniversary' when placing the reservation; however, this was not acknowledged when we were greeted by the hostess, which was odd, but she seemed a bit stressed. As we ate our delicious food and enjoyed our bottle of wine, it was exciting to see several surrounding tables enjoy complimentary special occasion tiramisu and a souvenir picture to take home, then quickly disappointing to be brought a dessert menu. Embarrassingly, we had to let our server know that it was our anniversary, but we felt as though she did not believe us, which made for an even more awkward end to our experience. The service was not welcoming. Luckily, the food was outstanding. Highly recommend the appetizer that had pasta with truffle creme sauce and balsamic, and the special that had pasta with scallops.“

“Hello my family and I have been searching for a place that has pizza like mazzones. It was definitely a standard in my family during the holidays and apparently in others as well. I asked Facebook for recommendations for the best pizza that compares to Mazzones and I ended up getting over 100 comments. Some were places I never heard of and some were popular places. Molisanas wasn't high on the list but it made my list. I picked 5 places so my family can try and Molissnas was number one for all. Not only was the pizza delicious I was able to taste there sausage and it was amazing. The moment I walked in everyone was very welcoming. “A true Mom and Pop pizza shop. You walk in and it instantly gives off that vibe, that you know the food is about to be hitting differently. Just pick up an order and see for yourself. I'm happy to have discovered this place while walking, I never would've known about it otherwise, as it's basically hidden on Pearl Rd. You won't be disappointed, try a pie from this local gem.“

“First time at Pizzeria Cerino as my quest for NE Ohio's best veal parmigiana continues. My wife and I had a meeting out in Seven Hills and wondered in. Got there about 5:30 with no reservation and was seated immediately. Could have been a problem had we come a little later as it filled up fast. Place appeared fairly new, clean with a separate bar area. Food was good, really good. Dinner came with bread and we split a very nice house salad...plenty big enough to share. I had the veal parmigiana and wife had the bolognese. My veal was a solid as any place around town. My wife's bolognese was also very good. I prefer flat noodles instead of stovepipe for bolognese but it was excellent. Portions were very fair for the price and we both had enough for lunch the next day. Split a cannoli for desert. Solid enough. Service was good, friendly and unassuming. Kind of a shame it is so far away from where I live as this is the kind of place that I would frequent a lot.“

“We love stino. Only cash or check. There is a cash machine in the restaurant. It is some of the best italian on the west side. We have been multiple times, and the eggplant and chicken are all great and dessert and a gluten-free dessert, too. And they have decaf cappuchino. The food is great and is a reasonable price for white table cloth style. You can come as you are, don't need suit or dress.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“

“This was our first time eating here. We were staying at an AirBnB down the road. My wife and I were immediately greeted by the new owner. He was very friendly and was kind enough to share some history of the place with us. We love what this pizza place is about and stands for. We only wished we lived closer so we could frequent it more often.“

“I finally visited Luca West on Friday evening, May 17th 2024. I arrived for an early dinner with a friend at 4:40pm. I came strictly for happy hour ($7) which is from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. CUSTOMER SERVICE (5/5) -- Our host/server, Danijela, was wonderful. She was managing the bar as well on a busy evening and she did a great job bringing water, complimentary bread/oil, and our dinner to the table. She was very attentive and friendly. Excellent. FOOD - HAPPY HOUR (5/5) -- Happy Hour is a great deal at just $7 a plate. I ordered the Orecchiette pasta and tried some of the calamari that my friend ordered. The Orecchiette is made with Italian Fennel Sausage, Rapini , and White Wine. It was just your classic orecchiette and I enjoyed it. The calamari was tasty as well. I especially loved dipping the soft bread into the calamari tomato sauce. The quantity (size) of both dishes was more than enough food for one person and I was full after leaving. My friend ordered a drink, the peach bellini ($7) which she enjoyed. I don't drink alcohol so I didn't get a drink. I can't wait to return to try other italian dishes. I heard their patio is beautiful so I'd love to see it next time (it wasn't opened today). At just $7 a plate during happy hour, you can't get a better deal than that anywhere else in town, that I know of. TIP -- The entrance may pull you away because it doesn't look like a restaurant but you are in the right spot. Luca West is just connected to an office building. “I had the pleasure of meeting the team from Italian Creations last night at a wedding at Lake Effect Studios. As a professional DJ, I have had lots of wedding food. I have to say, everything was excellent. From the salad bowl with a tasty balsamic dressing to the spaghetti vodka. If you are looking for authentic home cooked Italian food, look no further. You will not be disappointed. 10/10“

“Everything tastes like it is made from fresh ingredients. Both New York style and grandma crust have a nice crisp to the crust. Sauce has excellent taste and just the right amount spread evenly throughout the pies. The pepperoni rolls while good didn't impress me. Garlic bread was just that as well. Mike and Ed took the time to educate us in detailing the day’s menu and their timing of service was spot on. The food was delicious. Plate licking good. Wine selection perfect.
