Went to brunch with a friend. Great food and service but it was sooo loud that we could hardly hear each other speak. It was the Ohio Michigan game starting so maybe its not so loud
Extremely mid dive bar reserved for the West Lakewood barflies and townies.On first pass, its location seems to lend itself to some jumping weekend nights. But enter inside and it is usually a sausagefest. Service is slow and somehow has gotten even worse over the years. They seem to have hired increasingly stuck-up bartenders.On the positive side, they do have one of the more underrated brunches on the west side.Brunch boosts it to a 3 star for me. I might be a little biased, the owner is a fellow MU alumni. Putting that aside... Great atmosphere inside, 3 different types of seating (booths, tables, barstools) The drink selection is the only reason I do not give 5 stars. Can make your basic mixed drinks but not much more than a G&T. Great selection of beer. I haven't ordered any food but will be back soon. I will update once I give it a try. Overall, pleasant staff, solid pricing and a laid back atmosphere.
