5 Best Italian Restaurants in Lancaster

“This was recommended by a friend,and it did not disappoint! I've never been to Italy but this is the most authentic Italian food I've ever had.we enjoyed salad with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes,homemade dressing and fresh made Italian bread that was so crispy and delicious! Then ravioli and fresh pasta with marinara sauce and mushrooms.and for dessert tiramisu and espresso cappuccino. From start to finish this meal was amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious.now based on location and interior of restaurant I was thinking the prices were a little high,but I'm telling you the food will not disappoint....we were 2 couples and total meal with tip was $200.and they do not accept credit cards so plan ahead for that .(Though I did see an ATM there). The owner is a character full of great information and stories....we were the only ones in the restaurant (in middle of day) so we had his full attention and it was just an overall great experience.“

“We had a beautiful kind lady as our server. She was probably the best server we have ever had! I believe her name was Bridget. She checked on us every time she had a chance to, I never ran out of my drink, she also boxed up our food for us! She was so kind and she joked around with us, amazing service from her! Everyone there was great!“

“INCREDIBLE pizza. The smell alone does you in, but the food is just such a cut above. From the biggest pizza connoisseur I know who grew up with Mom at her own pizza place, my husband says it's one of the top 5 pizza places in Ohio. I must agree.“

“Today stopped in for lunch ordered a Pepperoni Pizza they accidentally forgot the pepperonis which I was OK with ,I get things happen. The pizza was really good! When I went to leave they gave me a pepperoni pizza which I really appreciated! It’s means a lot to me to make something right. I will definitely be back. Staff is great and kind and food is great! “My husband and I NEVER agree on anything. BUT We agree that “Mediterranean on 33” is one of the best hidden gems in Lancaster.I got the calamari, and it was OK. But the “Seafood Island Pasta” was delicious. Alittle expense for me, but they are worth the money. I also got a martini for the first time. It was disgusting. But the server warned me.My husband got the “Baby Lamb Chops “ (our daughter, would have been so mad at him). He felt guilty to love them, (But he did). He had Dark beer (of some sort). But He really liked it.The only complaint that we had was, My husband left still kinda hungry. The portions wasn’t enough for him. But he got baby Lamb chops. Duh they are small. So I don’t think that’s on the restaurant fault.One more thing. The owner is smart and doesn’t give the olives out without asking. So if you are an olive lover like me. Ask for them. Those olives are SOOOO expensive and people will waste them.“
