“I was slightly panicking as the bakery I had hired to make my son’s birthday cake cancelled five days before his birthday, but Thrush’s was awesome! They carefully took my order, and I’m sure the cake will be tasty. I wish all places had their view on customer service!!!“

When figuring out what we wanted on the cake, the young lady helping us was giving suggestions explaining all out options and making sure we knew certain things where extra. The door is to the left of the window, into the hall with the staircase, and then through the door on the right.It was pretty crowded but we did not have to wait to order and our drinks came out quickly, just seemed like a lot of people were hanging out enjoying the shop. The two baristas were very patient while we made up our minds about our order. And even when I accidentally made a mistake when ordering they were kind enough to help! “Tiger Bakery has been a Toledo favorite for decades. Their kitchen, food prep areas, and the glass serving/display counters were always sparkling clean and always impressive. I still remember the tantalizing smells of all the food. There are plenty of options so you won't have any problem pleasing everyone in your entire family or group. Those glass displays enable everyone to choose what you're in the mood for as you're ordering--very helpful in case people aren't familiar with Middle Eastern & Mediterranean food. In fact, this is a perfect place to get acquainted with foods you haven't tried, or return for your favorite dishes, because the high quality, amazing flavors, and the cleanliness is consistent. The service is fast, the food is fabulous, and you won't leave hungry. I almost forgot--HEALTHY OPTIONS are plentiful here. While there are abundant meat dishes, there are also plenty of rice dishes, vegetable dishes, all so good even people who do eat meat won't miss it. (Now I'm hungry!) I don't think it would bother anyone if I tell one of my Mom, Carol's, secrets: she truly enjoyed working here years ago (mid-1990s-2000s) and was treated so well, she would come home in a good mood. There’s a lot more space inside than appears from the outside and I loved how there were different sections to hang out in upstairs or downstairs. “We LOVE nothing Bundt cakes! Immediately when we walked in we were welcomed with the yummiest sample of the funfetti flavor. The lady working was so kind and very helpful as we picked up a Bundt cake to go. They happened to have the one we wanted on hand, but it may be helpful to order ahead if you're worried about it. These cakes are consistent, delicious, and a fan favorite.“

“I ordered a cake for a company event. Personally I am not a big fan of the regular icing cakes and most cakes are too sweet for my taste. Nathalie did an amazing job creating a vanilla, raspberry cake covered with dark chocolate. She put her heart and soul into it. It was so delicious. So much for the cake - not to forget about the pastry. Her croissants are the best you can get in the area and we ended up buying all of our bread with her. What a gem in Perrysburg.“

“Great people, great service, high quality, authentic Mexican cuisine/ pastries. Was very happy with my experience here. They had ran out of they're breakfast burritos from the customer ahead of me (he bought them all because they were so good) and the lady made me some on the spot even tho there was only 2 workers there at the time and the place was pretty busy. Was very thankful for that. I will definitely be coming back!!! Alot ? the pastries are 10/10 aswell.“

“Miss J has the best cupcakes I’ve ever had! And her cake pops are to die for. If you want GOOD sweets and to support a small local business, this is the way to go. “They have a sign out front “ Best Sandwich In Sylvania” and let me tell you it’s the best sandwich I’ve ever had and being 6’4 340lbs l have had my share of sandwiches. I got the “Bonnie And Clyde” and it’s huge ( I could only finish half and that’s a first for me) with fresh homemade bread and finally a place with really good corned beef!!!!. The staff is so friendly and the place smells amazing with all of that homemade bread. I love supporting Veteran friendly places and this is one place l will continue to patronize A++++++++.“

“Do you have the cheese Danish Brishke’s used to carry? 1990’s they had the best filling. A little gritty. They came from somewhere else- like Dearborn or Detroit, I think. Then the filling was changed to a creamy one. Hoping you have them the OG way. Not open today Saturday at 1:50 pm 1/14/23.“

“Stopped in for lunch. What a cute place and the food was excellent. I had their chicken salad on lettuce (I'm gluten free) and it was exceptional! The portions were small so I ordered a second one. Their prices are reasonable so both servings cost about $10 - total. Really reasonable for the quality. My husband had their chili with cornbread. It too was excellent! It's a small place but they have a nice menu offering a number of interesting sandwiches / salads. Breakfast is only served on weekends. Not your ordinary fare, and all no doubt excellent. They take pride in the fact they don't have a microwave, and there are no friers. Everything is earth to oven quality food. Highly recommend.“

“I came across this place and am so glad I stopped. I had a cookie batter iced coffee and had the special for the month of May. It was the Mexican Benedict. It had 2 poached eggs, chorizo, avocado, hollandaise sauce on a muffin with a side of hash browns. I believe my entire bill was only $13. It may have been one of the best Benedicts I have had in awhile. Very clean cute area!“

“I love going here. I go to get a regular coffee, no expresso no latte just regular plain old black coffee with carmel in it.There are two girls that get it perfect and they are Audrey and Myaijshea. They make it perfect and I am grateful for them.Sometimes when I order it the girls give me expresso and its to strong for me but these two girls get it. I have since been back a few times since I wrote this review and they all have it now. I find all the people working there to be very nice and friedly, hy husband like the donuts“
