“This local bar is busy af on the weekends ! We hit this bar on Friday nights and the place is jam packed even at midnight ! Servers are awesome but food is average (nothing to boast) ! But if anyone wants to have a nice time with a group of friends, they wouldn’t be disappointed !“

“We've had wonderful experiences here as a family. The service is excellent, the food is great, and the atmosphere is fun. There are food options for our little picky eater, for our teenager and for us too. I love the app that we can use while here that lets us pick songs to play in the restaurant or to order refills, among other featires. Would recommend.“

“So I went to this restaurant on August 8th this week for a social event, and the onion rings and chicken fingers were good and the service was good. However, if you require news captioning, there is something wrong with the TVs or with the service that the restaurant uses which prevents them from being able to turn on closed captioning for the CP24 news channel. I was very confused as to why the staff I asked said no to me - I genuinely believed discrimination at first. However, someone from the social attempted to navigate the menus and the option for closed captioning was grayed out and not selectable. I hope that issue can be corrected in due time around the TV and/or the service as captioning has many beneficiaries and I would hate for the restaurant to miss out on repeat business because of that. My recommendation is thus based on the service around food. Numerically, everything overall is a 4 out of 5.“

“Shame on me for staying here once before & not leaving a review until my second stay! This hotel is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in! The best thing about this hotel is the amazing quest restaurant it is absolutely insane quality everything is fresh and 10/10 everyone in there is super friendly and my compliments to the chefs! Amazing job! This hotel has everything you could ever want from a hotel and I haven't even been to the pool or the big crazy water slide! This hotel is huge! I haven't even scratched the surface of exploring this place and looking forward to it! I will highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!!“

“As regular attendees of community theatre nearby, we always enjoy our post-matinée dinner at the Social Eatery. The food is great and the service is really great! Our server, Sarah, as busy as the restaurant was, gave an awesome service and was always pleasant and smiling. I highly recommend this restaurant!!“

“I came into this restaurant on the evening of March 25, 2025.Just had a steak meal after a long day working remotely in my hotel room, after my flight was delayed. I didn't have a car with me, nor did I want to walk to another restaurant, so I thought I'd give this restaurant a chance as it's conveniently located in the hotel.For the food, it's pretty decent for the price point, so if you're more value food oriented, this could be a good spot for you. My steak was seasoned well, and the peppercorn sauce was tasty. It's not a top tier cut of course, but if you wanted something affordable and made right to what you ask, this is a good choice. Kudos to the chef for doing medium rare, right.I think what particularly made my experience very good was the Bartender named Pauline. I was looking at the menu outside and she called me into the restaurant in a very endearing way. She could see I was tired and hungry, and I joined her at the bar for dinner for one. She was pleasant and friendly, and kept the right amount of time with me on how my meal was doing and helping with other guests coming from the hotel.She actively called in guests to come into the restaurant, made them feel welcome and I saw her several times thanking guest as they were leaving for coming in despite being a bit busy at times with other guests. Seems like the other guests were happy chatting with her and thanking her as well.Having worked in the hospitality industry myself at one point in my life, it's nice to see someone who just seems like she genuinely cares about what she does and how she makes others feel.Kudos to you Pauline, and thank you for the great service and mini chat on life, while singing REM with me at the bar to help bring my spirits up.To the owners, I kindly ask you share some recognition to Paul and the chef in the heart of house.“

“Met at the Grotto with a bunch of friends, Nice place at Port credit area. The gathering space was a bit stuffy for 15 and the lights were a bit low. The menu was small but everything was tastefully prepared.It was an enjoyable event and I recommend a visit with family if you must. Patio seating was ok. Live band on weekends is always welcome event!!“

“Come here a couple of times per month. Usually at off peak times and the food comes out fast and hot . Cant beat the prices either for a 10 oz AAA steak. Usually cooked medium rare.Our server this time was Parth Prajapiti , and he provided very good service . We will be coming back soon .Parking: Huge parking lot at the rear of the building“

“We’ve been here a couple times first time was for brunch, the breakfast/brunch menu is definitely worth checking out, options are greatAs for the dinner menu you can’t go wrong really the options are endless and everything looks and sounds so good. I settled with the buttermilk chicken tenders tossed in honey hot and I can’t wait to go back. Really really good!!!!As for service and atmosphere, despite being busy on a Friday night the team here do a great job at spreading everyone out so it doesn’t seem so crowded and service was still great despite the rush“
