“There's a lot of good Mexican in NoPo ( coming from a Southern Californian) but Beto's just does every right. Their breakfast burrito is fire, and I love that they offer black beans as an option. Their breakfast torta is also a star order. For lunch or dinner, their mole enchiladas are some of the best I've had. All of their proteins are top notch and their chile rellenos are the best I've tried in PDX. You can tell they put a LOT of effort into their cooking.“

“I've enjoyed every coffee drink they've ever made me. I do miss being able to get my breakfast pastries, coffee, and tamales delivered all at once when my work from home day makes it hard to leave. But I do understand burritos are probably more scalable and less labor intensive. Still miss the tamales. Don't sleep on those pastries though.“

“I walked up to order and saw loads of basil in front of me getting ready to be turned into something delicious. I ordered a small order of arancini balls. I was delighted that I could choose different ones on the same order. They had 4 varieties and all sounded amazing. I ordered the original mozz and the pepperoni and mozz. Then I could choose from 4 different sauces and I chose the original marinara. These were so good along with the sauce that I can’t wait to go back and try all of them but next time I’m ordering the large for sure! Additionally I ordered the Italian chopped salad and added grilled chicken and soppressata dry cured ham. It was an explosion of flavors! The grilled chicken was so good along with the ham. I can’t wait to go back and try more. Next I’m trying either the eggplant parm sub of the vegan pesto pasta, especially after witnessing the mound-o-basil. “Okay, Breakside Brewery is fine, nice indoor area and lot's of outdoor ambiance, staff was friendly and the margarita was good - but that's not the point. The best thing about Breakside is that it's the newest location for Tito's Taquitos, and THAT is something to celebrate! If you want the prettiest food on a plate that also is delicious and (relatively) healthy, you want Tito's. Their owners and employees are all the nicest people EVER, the food is ridiculously fresh and gorgeous, and it is SO GOOD. Great vegetarian options, I love love love their carnitas mushrooms! It's like eating a work of art, and even though it's deep-fried, there's so much fresh raw garnish and salsa and healthy toppings so it barely feels like a fried meal. Hubby always gets the fried fish tacos, and he also loves the shrimp tacos. We tried their new potato appetizer/nacho thing and it was really good, but the taquitos are still the best thing to get. Seriously, if you haven't tried Tito's, you must. This new location at Breakside is way closer to my work and easier to get to, which makes me very happy!“

“Phenomenal little coffee shop where nerds and coffee connoisseurs alike will feel right at home. The shop is wonderfully adorned with Legos and Harry Potter decorations, and the mugs too are Star Wars themed, amongst other fandoms. I had the slytherin latte and the breakfast bagel, both of which were great. My mom had the gryffindor latte and breakfast bagel and she loved them as well. Only recommendation is to have more seats!“

One other thing to note is the restroom is very clean and spacious. This is one of my local bars where I go often with friends to have a good time. I also love the comfy armchairs beside the window. “The beer and cider selection is awesome. We really like the atmosphere. There is seating on the parking lot out front, and we can park our ebikes where we can see them. The only negative is that they don't open early enough on weekdays. We haven't tried the food yet.We're retired and ride our eBikes 20 miles or so around here, and we've tried out just about every brewpub in the Hillsboro, Aloha Bethany, cornelius, forest grove,West Beaverton area with a patio. This has become one of our favorites.“
