Omg the Green Machine is so good. As vegetarians we had lots to eat here and the Green Machine is absolutely divine. Wish they had more vegan specialty rolls but we ate two and could have eaten more ?

Pretty good value during happy hour.Appreciate the focus on sustainability. If that's your thing, there aren't many places like this for sushi.Comfortable environment.

I wish we had taken pictures, but we were enjoying the moments during date night. The shishito peppers were so good. Highly suggest them. The hoki poki box was unreal and by far my favorite and my husband was amazed by the scallop Nigri. The addition we can both agree on is you have to get the fresh tableside Wasabi. It was so fresh and compliments the fresh fish beautifully.

Service is always prompt and friendly. Their tempura cauliflower is to die for and cocktails are impeccable. Love this placeDietary restrictions: I'm gluten and dairy sensitive and can eat most things on the menu

Bamboo Sushi is our FAVORITE restaurant. We usually go to the Lake O or Cedar Hills one, probably once a month at least. I LOVE IT. Always amazing.Unfortunately the Alberta location just doesn’t live up to the same standards. Mostly, the service was HORRENDOUS. We waited over 20min after being sat to even get water. My partner had to go ask the host 20min later if we could please order food. Our waitress could be seen in the hallway by the bathroom dozing off. An entire item was missing from our order but of course it never got fixed because no one EVER came to check on us. We had to ask another waiter if we could please pay for our meal.Hopefully it was just one bad wait staff, or one bad night for the server. But we won’t be coming back to this location.

Attentive service in a cool atmosphere, family friendly but elegant, and of course the food is amazing! Sushi is the main idea, but even the "land food" and vegetarian items are top-notch.Kid-friendliness: Kids are served and included with care and consideration.

Treated my daughter to "fancy sushi" and absolutely loved it. I haven't been to bamboo in many years and never this location. Can't wait to be able to go

This has been our go-to sushi place for several years. Unfortunately the food is no longer top quality and employee attitude has slipped also. It's time to find a new favorite sushi restaurant.

We had an incredible dinner The green machine is to die for along with the spicy salmon crispy rice. But what really made our night was our server. Dan was unbelievably kind and attentive. He is the reason we will be coming back.

Made a reservation and the restaurant was closed when we got there for dinner service. Take out only. YOU COULD HAVE CALLED US! how unprofessional and ridiculous. They said the owner didn't pay the staff and they all walked out. Good job Bamboo.

Good evening, I can't recommend this establishment to anyone, it's not the most delicious sushi in my life, just terrible!!!!! I don't know who made them, but the photo shows that they are prepared terribly, and I can't say anything positive about the taste either, I will never come back here again!

Hate the use of plastic on non-liquid to-go containers! I cut down my orders by 75% because of it. So wasteful - I loved the paper compostable containers that were used previously. How about reusable containers that we borrow and bring back? What's sustainable about your to go containers at this point? As a sustainable business you should do better! Ugh so bummed!Otherwise...Great sushi with sustainable fish. They will make traditional rolls but they're not on the menu. No yellowtail/hamachi. There's a burger for the non-fish eater. Not a kid friendly spot. More upscale. House music and 45m waits on weekend nights. My favorite locations are Alberta and Downtown.Dietary restrictions: The restaurant is mostly gluten free - even the tempura and soy sauce!Parking: Parking can be a challenge especially on weekends and the more apartment buildings go up.

Had a very nice time here tonight. I've never been to the Alberta location, so here goes. First impressions, okay, but, we did have a reservation (4pm on a weekday...), asked if we could change tables due to the glare outside, and not rude or anything, but, just set an odd tone, aka, there's nobody in here, and wasn't for more than an hour, let's not make it seem like you're looking for a table--especially for two. Ordered a HH wine, took what felt like forever. But then, great service after. The folks here were so nice, and after we settled in and ordered a round of food, awesome! We got a few drinks a piece (just us two). The tofu vodka cocktail...interesting, but not great, just something you don't see all the time. Glad we tied it. Other than that, either classic or just wine. Drink prices are good for HH. Food, we got veggie tempura, which is a crazy portion, but kinda missed the crunch and flavor I'm used to, but good, the sauce, no flavor at all and we ended up lemon and soy adding at the table. Spicy miso soup, and wow, the chili oil added a lot, and the dashi was salty, bold and right sweetness. Nice! Tuna crunchy rice, amazing quality, but lacked salt or another item to round it out. Nigiri, Ikura, Kanpachi (sorry if I botched that), and scallop were incredible and the rice, which is the main dish here--each grain is sweet, vinegar and separate, from the other grains, which is (besides the "topping"), the most critical part. Wow! Bonus! They were trying out a roll for Valentine's Day with the staff looked like, and they came by and gave a whole portion to us for FREE! Nice touch! Pro move on their part. Will be back again, as far as prices go, it's Bamboo, so no real deals here, just good food, that you know where it comes from, and be willing to pay a fair price for it--that doesn't break the bank. The two of us were fat and happy (and a little buzzed), for a price we felt good about. Not bad for very quality Japanese! Oh, and I almost forgot, on the nigiri, it's real wasabi, not the paste that's mostly horseradish!
