“Great little neighborhood bar - friendly staff remembers your face, food is damn good for a bar, and prices are reasonable. Breakfast all day, specialty burgers impressed me, and it’s nice and cool inside with a shaded patio in back. My neighborhood spot is a gem!”

“This neighborhood pub has a great selection of beers. My favorites are the First Chair English pub ale and Weasels & Lies double IPA. They have great food, but the menu is a bit limited. Dog friendly and laid back vibe.”

“I managed to get a seat at the bar for an early dinner because I hadn't made reservations. Service was friendly and the food was excellent. The short rib arancini could be a meal in and of itself. Their house-made pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce with prawns was amazing! I was actually spooning up the excess sauce and eating it like a soup because I hadn't gotten bread to sop it up. The Stappi Sunrise cocktail with house-made limoncello was also fantastic! I very much look forward to coming back for future meals.”

“Absolutely wonderful! We had the mole, which apparently changes weekly. But this week's included flattened chicken breasts battered in rice flour and sauteed perfectly, served on a thick brown mole sauce with mild peppers. Heavenly! The portion easily fed the two of us. We also had one of the best margarita's I've ever tasted. Service, decor, ambiance and the park outside make this a fabulous place to go.”

“Absolutely a gem worth trying! The sourdough was incredible, very chewy and perfectly fired. Had the garlic, arugula and prosciutto pizza, and it was delicious. The ambiance of the inside and patio area is very homey and welcoming with very eclectic design and flow. The service was also very good, the hostess was very sweet and the ordering process was easy with being to order at the table through a QR Code or at the cash register.”

“Absolutely hands down the best Indian restaurant I've been to. I've tried many different types of curry from different places and this place by far has the best one! Also recommend the chicken tikka massala. Honestly, my favorite dish they have. Everyone should definitely try out this place for authentic Indian cuisine.”

“Came for dinner / happy hour. The Friday night fish fry here is delightful. Very crispy tasty fish, and the sauce paired with it is perfect. The oysters were divine, super fresh. The drinks were good. Fries weren’t very crisp and maybe could have been cooked a bit more. Good flavor though. The staff here were so nice and attentive, quick service, and I like the clean vibe of the restaurant.”

“We took our whole family to celebrate my birthday. There were six of us. First time I've ever walked into a busy place at the proper time for my reservation and been served immediately. We didn't really know what to order on the menu so our wonderful server said “do you trust me that I will provide a wonderful dinner for you ?”and we said sure. I don't think we would have ordered the amazing things we got if left to our own fumbling around. The total bill was very reasonable. We look forward to going there again now that we know more about the foods.”

“There was only 1 waitress (I think her name was Julihana), she was amazing!! So good at her job juggling the multiple tables with thoughtful consideration and attentiveness, very aware of what was going on throughout the restaurant and addressing everything within a timely manner and a smile on her face. The 1 cook was great at his job also, layering my sandwich awesomely so the veggies didn't make the bread soggy. My partner was extremely happy with his omelette, emitting little grunts of happiness as he made his way through his meal.
All in all, this has been the best experience I've ever had at a Denny's in all my 39years of life!! Please give these people a raise as they are a beautiful example of the kind of service anyone can appreciate!!”

“Try their breakfast burritos, with half a dozen choices, you won't be disappointed. They also have a wide selection of other Mexican-American favorites to choose from. Their salsas vary from one Muchas Gracias location to another, but all are good. The Barbur Blvd. location has brought back their salsa bar. Got the carne asada burrito, which was tasty but, a bit skimpy on the meat.”

“We dropped by our Subway today. The manager was in. We let him know that we were not pleased with the sandwiches we got last time. We didn't even eat them. We left a bad review.He asked us when this happened. He remade our order and did not charge us.The replacement sandwiches were great. The way they have always been in the past. We had met Maribel a few months before our wedding and loved her food – and how friendly she was. Maribel and her team were extremely helpful in coming up with an appropriately sized menu for our guest count and the varied dietary restrictions, plus a special kids menu! Everything went perfectly on the day of the event itself, the food was so delicious that many of our guests kept coming back for seconds!”

“I go here 2-3 days per week for lunch. Food is delicious and well priced. The lamb plate is my go to, no clue how gets the lamb so tender. The owner is super friendly and clearly cares about his customers and you can tell how popular he and his food is by the number of people who walk past and say hello to him. If he moved his cart to another part of town, I'd seriously consider finding a new job in that area.”

If I had one suggestion, the air vents above the tables along the window were pumping out some pretty cold air, so that could probably be dialed back a bit. Otherwise, the perfect eveningl”

It wasn’t too hard to park and the service was friendly. I will say our dishes weren’t the tastiest but all things considered it was a win.

I missed the anniversary party and any other events she may have had, but it’s been a delight having such a gem near by. Even if I move a little further from the city, this unassuming place is worth the trek! The creativity, attention to detail, and care can almost be tasted in the air…. although i recommend actually tasting one of her pastries! Hehe. Quiche also must be “grandmas secret recipe” type deal. 10/10 .. or 5/5 whatever it is, check this spot out!!!
