“Came here for the first time for an anniversary dinner. Was not disappointed. The service was amazing and they were so friendly.
I got the lamb shank and it was falling off the bone. The baba ganoush under the lamb was perfect. Mix it together with the rice and the sauce and you got a little piece of heaven. Will definitely be back.“

“So excited about this place! Went here for my birthday and it sits high among my favorite dining experiences ever. My wife, a Bosnian, found an article about chef Vedran Jordan and his new elevated-Balkan-food restaurant a few months before we went. Expectations were high going in and they were surpassed by miles. Initially we were confused about some of the menu items like calamari, which isn't traditionally a Balkan dish. So, I ordered it first and it immediately opened my eyes to Chef Jordan's vision of using Balkan flavors in an elevated way. Traditional dishes are flavored in non-traditional ways and vice-versa, like the pasulj (traditional white bean stew) with an amazing blend of spices that elevated it masterfully. The Vegeta chicken wings are incredible, again using a very traditional spice blend in a way that lifts the dish. Honestly every plate was something new and it blows my mind how well it all tied together. He respectfully captured the already-perfect ćevapi with lepina, onion and kajmak, he left the flavors of that plate in tact and simply presented it in tapas fashion. When paired with a rakija coctail, this meal took us back to the region in the most beautiful way. You can genuinely taste the love Chef Vedran has for his home country and its flavors, and we left the meal feeling that same longing and appreciation. Can't wait to go back!“

“Not just a restaurant, but also a bar with a wide selection of beverages. Their cocktails are delicious, and the strawberry lemonade is excellent! The food is tasty, the menu is diverse, and there are plenty of vegetarian options.

I highly recommend trying the appetizers, especially the tarator. The lentil soup is absolutely delicious, and the mushroom wrap is amazing. Don't forget to try their original pistachio baklava, and be sure to ask for the complimentary Turkish tea!“

“I came here with my friend last night and it was bomb. I had the chicken shawarma and it was heavenly, and a huge amount of food. Certainly get what you pay for. I definitely recommend this place and plan on going back to try the Portland burrito and some of the appetizers!“
