“I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!“

“I try not to eat here too often because I like keeping it special - and every time I go, it's special. Service here is exceptional (Andrew is an ever-shining gem!) which stands out on its own against many other Portland restaurants. The food is rustic and unfussy, charming, full of flavor, with variety aplenty. Congrats on 15 years, Luce, and I hope you'll be around for another 15 with this level of amazing consistency!“

“It was delicious!!! Rabbit, foie gras, pigs feet, escargot, halibut, eel, scallops, all the fancy sauces….SOOO good!! Every bite was just perfectly executed. The staff was so friendly and engaging which made it really fun to sit at the chef’s counter!“

“I have been to this wonderful spot a million times but stayed in my comfort zone of the tacos. I've literally had them all, even the burrito, and burrito bowls. However, something told me that comfort and change can't sit together so I decided to try something new tonight. I tried the scrumptious pulled Jack sandwich, which came with heaping sides of Mac and cheese, and greens. I also got my 6 yr old the tamales. Before I noticed he scarfed down his tamales and was asking for a bite of mine. I was only able to try a single bite of his and man oh man I wanted another one just for myself lol... Here we both are now both stuffed to the max but of course, what a good dinner with a great dessert. We are eating the yum yum yummmaaay blackberry peach cobbler... If you ain't been here, get here, and if you have, try something different next time, I bet you'll love it better or just the same as your favorite.

To top it all off she is such a majestic being, very social( I mean we all have our days right?) and down to earth, and her love language is servitude!!!

“Twice now I’ve eaten at Ox. I came back for the Clam Chowder with Smoked Bone Marrow as it left such a lasting impression. This time, we tried the Skirt Steak with the Radicchio & Romaine Salad. The service is fast and friendly, though we showed up right at 11AM to ensure we had seating! Food was delicious, and the dessert was good. If you plan to buy any pastries, do so before you sit! We waited until after we were done eating and literally within and hour of opening, all the fruit strudel was gone. I was heartbroken because that's why I went! Well I won't be making that mistake twice! Buy it before you sit! Great place and such fun!“

“Picked up an Amalfi Bounty sandwich for the road. Massive hoagie roll but delicious flavors and so many vegetables. Cheese is thinly sliced so it doesn’t overwhelm the fillings. There’s a parking lot here and the 2 unisex bathrooms are clean.“

“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! “One of the best Korean restaurants in town! We drive 40 minutes just to eat here, even though there are plenty of Korean restaurants near us. Nothing compares to Bibim.

Not only is the food consistently delicious, but it's also a family-owned business, which makes the experience even more special. Their daughter is one of the kindest people you'll meet, she always goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome.

Every dish is full of flavor, fresh, and made with so much care. If you haven't tried Bibim yet, you're seriously missing out on some of the best Korean food around.

I'm genuinely rooting for this business because they truly deserve to thrive. Supporting local family-owned restaurants like this is always worth it, and I'll happily keep making the 40-minute drive for their incredible food. ❤“

“Perfect place for a special family birthday dinner for a party of 7 after enjoying the art immersive Portlandia institution Hopscotch - great for all ages - interesting foods to try family style, great friendly quirky service - the tomato salad is absolutely delicious we ordered all 4 kinds of Russian dumplings and halibut, chicken and veggie kabobs all very interesting and delicious - the fruit shortcake with lemon cream was the standout surprise flavor bomb - we have been a couple times and it doesn't disappoint - fun place to take folks from out of town“

If you're a veteran that's ever been stationed in Japan, pair this up with Jinro and a Page 11 and it's like you're back in Oki!
