“I stopped by this place for lunch to order a binh ma sandwich to go. There were a few people eating Pho in the small restaurant area. I sat down to wait, and a customer had a hot plate of egg rolls delivered to his table. They looked so good, I ordered those too! After a short wait, my sandwich arrived. Fresh baked baguette with delicious meats. I got the #1 Vina Baquette Special. The staff are very nice and friendly. I was greeted after walking in. The restaurant/cafe is clean and small, seats 18 people, amongst the tables and chairs. It's been a while since I have been here, but I will be back! I need to try the Pho. Thank you, Vina Deli & Baguette!“

“Friendly spot with some of the best food I've had in this town. Micheladas and Margs are delicious, the staff is very attentive. I went in for a takeout order, had a michelada while I waited and the staff brought me chips and salsa to hold me over. The food was incredible and extremely fresh, took a margarita to go. If you're in Tigard and you're hungry, this is your spot.“

“The service was too notch, atmosphere and food was just a step below. While I have no complaints and everything was good, it didn't blow my mind with oh-my-goodness amazing. I've had better for a lower price point but I guess you have to place a premium on quality service. All in all I would come back for good food and great service.Update: Just to be clear, the food was great... I guess maybe portion size could be bigger? You guys did nothing wrong.“

“This is solid, Chinese-American food. And the quality is good. You can literally watch through the big window as the chefs prepare your food. I highly recommend the dumplings in hot oil appetizer. The meat here is real. The chicken especially is not that spongey reformed stuff so many restaurants use. Everything is made fresh: it has to be... that big window. They have a full bar service which is good too. The service is great. The waitstaff know how to serve graciously and are always pleasant. And the dining room is pleasant enough with music playing at an appropriate level. This place has several large tables and can accommodate larger groups (though call ahead for reservations for a large group). This place is family-appropriate, though they don't have a specific child's menu. Wu's is located in a strip mall anchored by Safeway right on 99W and there's a traffic light so you can get in from either direction and leave in either direction too. There's plenty of parking. I have, in the past, been joined here by a wheelchair using friend, and we had no trouble at all. The facility presented no serious barriers and the staff were most accommodating. Chinese-American cuisine seems very vegetarian-friendly, but -- while I don't know the specific practices of this restaurant -- I always caution to ask as Oriental cooks often add meat-stocks or fats to seemingly-vegetable-only dishes. Pork or chicken fat do, afterall, and a touch of deliciousness to vegetables. So, if this is important to you, ask. Wu's Open Kitchen is the best Chinese-American restaurant in the Tigard/Sherwood/Newberg area. The food is good and service is always gracious. I recommend it.“

“Late lunch for three at 300 on Friday. Zachary was our server and did an outstanding job. Everything about our experience was up to the usual high McMinamins standards. I always like bringing out of town guests here because it's always great.Vegetarian options: Vegan burger is very good.“

“Is it the best/most authentic Italian? No. Is it good anyway? Yes. I love coming here for lunch, it's value for your money. $13 for a big, filling serving of pasta + soup or salad! My favorite is the Fettuccine Alfredo + Caesar Salad combo, although I find the Caesar Salad a bit overdressed. The mocktails are worth a try as well. The servers are always friendly, but it can get busy on the weekend so you might have to wait to get seated sometimes. Definitely a great option for some casual American-Italian!“

“This place is great! The shoyu egg was BY FAR the best I have ever had. Didn’t even know they could taste like that. Noodles are hand made, just like my favorite at ramen ryoma. The chashu pork just melted off my chopsticks, it was incredible. Wasn’t expecting to find such a hidden gem in this small store center.“

“Delicious pizza and yummy sandwiches but oh, those Chef Salads ! I cannot buy the ingredients and make a comparable Chef Salad for what Pizza Caboose charges. It's a bargain. Always fresh. I get everything delivered, the drivers are prompt, or they call to let me know they're running late, and the pizza or sandwich or to die for potato spikes are hot and the salad is cool. Great customer service.“

Bacon flavor and Sasquacht flavors. The other day I was kindly informed by the checkout person that there were new additions to the GF breads...including a GF rye. Awesome!! Such a great find! Reuben sandwiches! Woot!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options“

“They were very accommodating we took our 81 year old dad for his birthday. First they made sure that the seating was OK for him not to cold or not on the high seats. Then we had the best waitress her name was Rebecca R she was so nice and very attentive and she was busy seen her everywhere plus it was a Friday night. I just had to say something because lately my husband and I have been going out every weekend and the service has been terrible. Thank you for my dads birthday special Tina“

“Elmer's serves only high quality meals and they are consistently delicious and presented beautifully. There servers are always friendly and eager to please and provide what you want. I have eaten there numerous times. The "Crabacado". omelette is huge and has a generous portion of real crab. It's the same with the avocado and bacon. I always choose the pancakes and maple syrup which are both fantastic. I HIGHLY recommend Elmer's.“

“My daughter and I tried their corn dogs, she got the original and I got the crispy, I have to say I really enjoyed it. Good beef sausage and mozzarella cheese stacked inside of a hand dipped planko honey batter. Yumm. My daughter said she wasn’t hungry but she sure ate the entire thing. Try it for yourself and you be the judge.“

“The raspberry margarita was really good, lots of flavor. It went down almost too easy. The chimichanga combo with enchiladas was great, the enchiladas never disappoint. We tried the new cheese dip (fundido) and Mexican pizza. The fundido was okay, the peppers in it were chopped too large in my opinion.“

“We were out on the patio enjoying a live band. We were also dancing, and the only thing was that the surface we were dancing on was a little bit hard to dance on. The good news there was no cover charge for being out on the patio. This was part of a Meetup group“

“Delicious food and really good tater tots.Hostess was really kind. I'm vegetarian and wasn't paying attention when I ordered and accidentally got a beef burger. Even though it was entirely my fault, when the hostess found out, she insisted on taking the burger back and getting me an impossible burger. I felt bad for letting her do that, but I really appreciate it and I will definitely be back with friends!Vegetarian options: Impossible burger is offered for $3 extra on any burger.Parking: Normal parking lot in the back facing away from the road, but there's extra parking in the garage to the left when you get off the main road. Plenty of parking.“

“I love this place. Veggie burritos done right. Great people and very organized back of house. I do not speak Spanish, so when I order to-go stuff, I look up how to say my number in Spanish then I listen for it. I feel so stupid! However, that's how authentic this place is. They talk to everyone in Spanish first before breaking into perfect English. God bless this place.Vegetarian options: Veggie burrito and most things can be made that way.“

“Rovente had been our go-to pizza delivery for years when living in NE. We were very excited to learn there's one in Tigard when moving here a year ago. Just as good as the one on the Eastside! I think we've tried just about all of their specialty pies and they've all been great. Fast delivery, easy online ordering and rewards too!“

“I've been coming to Tapphoria for a few years now. It's a welcoming spot with a great group of people who tend to be here pretty much every time I show up. Solid beer selection at way better prices than the other taphouses around this area. Service is great and it's a good spot to grab a beer or two and watch a game.“

“We were surprised how busy this location was in the early afternoon. In addition to walk in customers like us, there was a high volume of online and phone orders that kept the one-person team hopping. The pizza and monkey bread were great, but I mainly wanted to commend the young woman who hustled to make everything happen - all by herself & with a fantastic attitude - and got all the orders right. She should be a manager if she's not already! ??✊Parking: This lot is very, very crowded and visibility isn't the best. Spaces also aren't very wide.“

“My group of friends like to try different places once in a while, to meet during the work week. This was the first time for us at Bull Mountain Bar & Grill. The inside of the place was big, and stark, not very inviting, plus, they had no happy hour, which was a bummer! But......our server, Hannah, was so nice and inviting, she made you overlook things you may not have liked, and she was a darn good waitress-bar tender! The food was pretty good, a couple of us had what was called, a small plate, like an appetizer size of steak bites, with a small side salad that I would order again. Some of the girls ordered a Ribeye dip that they didn't care for, they said it had a weird odd taste, but others thought the fish tacos were good. Overall, no place is perfect, and I think we all would definitely come back and try Bull Mountain Bar & Grill again.“

“This is a good, old-fashioned family place for breakfast or lunch. Good food, ample portions, and an absolutely amazing staff. I would have hired any of the waitresses when I was still working. They hustle and seem to like their jobs and have fun also. (Special shout out for Karla and Annette). If you go there a few times, they will greet you by name.“

“Had a really great time, we wanted to go somewhere to chill and do some work whilst also enjoying the outdoors, even though this place is near car traffic, it was quiet. The menu is easy to read and the place is accessible for all people. I want to give a shout-out to our super awesome server Peter!! Thank you very much!Kid-friendliness: When we got there there were no kids, but an hour later 2 families with kids showed up and it was super cool, nothing about it was bad!“

“A friend and I met at Choza and decided to stay as we saw their happy hour specials. We first sat in the dining area and ended up moving to the bar as the specials we saw outside were just in the bar. The waitress didn't seem too happy to move us. We ended up moving our own items over and got situated. Our waiters seemed like they were nice, especially once we decided on our orders. My friend is sensitive to gluten and had a few questions. Some of the items he asked about said they were gluten-free on the menu, but the servers told us they were not. This happened a couple of times, and so my friend ended up getting a couple of chicken tacos. I got the street quesadillas and a side of refried beans.Wow, and wow again! Our food was delicious! I like how the quesadillas were made. They were individually wrapped and stuffed with tons of pull able cheese, acocado, and poblano peppers. Everything came together so well, and I loved that it was topped with lettuce, crema, and cojita cheese. Omg! Every bite was amazing, and I loved the price. To wash it all down, I got their berry margarita that was not super sweet and had tons of flavor. One is enough, so keep that in mind!Minus one star for the service as the staff needs to be a little more knowledgeable about the items and that they can not guarantee their drinks or food can be gluten free--even if they say they are. It's okay if they do not know or can not guarantee it.I would come back for another margarita and their street quesadillas. The chips and salsa were fabulous as well. The chips were crispy, and the salsa had a nice kick to it, which made sropping myself from eating more very difficult. I'm so glad there are to go boxes!“

“I know! I know!! Was it clean? Well, yes. It was brilliant. Nothing sticky on the floor. Windows and tables are very clean. Nice! So, thinking I wanted a Carnitas Burrito, I was informed that they don't do Carnitas, but they have a close second. Alas! It wasn't. Meats are to be seasoned (Asada) via marinade, so flavours blend and roll subtly and well balanced so that the tounge enjoys the experience as well as the mouth and stomach. This was not that experience. The meat was clean! I mean, like it had been added to the centre of the burrito, and then some seasoned things tossed in, and the tortilla then rolled, and cheese melted atop of it. It was not a great eating experience. Add to that the more than six or seven times I got a hard piece of rice! Old? Reheated? Not cooked? Who knows? I know it was hard and only added to my disappointment. Seriously! One grain in one hundred? Sure! But this was not cool! The beans were good. Smooth, creamy, and nicely seasoned without too much salt like some other restaurants are wonton to do.It was the #17 in the event enquiring minds wish to know...“

“Today, as I was picking up my wife's Tostada De Ceviche De Camarones, it dawned on me as to why I like going to Taco del Sol & have been doing so ever since they came to town. The food is usually very good & the staff is typically quite friendly - this visit was no exception. Happy staff, great tasting food, free salsa/condiment bar... But, back to the reason for my first statement. It's kinda like visiting your good friend's house for a meal & whatever's on TV. You're still a guest but presently you're also parte de la familia.Kid-friendliness: Kids with well-behaved adults are always welcomed.?“

“The lady taking the orders was very nice and professional. The location is neat and clean. The food tasted sort of good but the chicken had burnt pieces, the rice had rather dried out and the veggies were only cabbage!!!! I think I saw a microscopic piece of broccoli and 2 thin strips of carrot!!! ? It seems the cook wasn't having a good day or didn't really want to be there! We might give it another try because of the attention given by the cashier lady.Parking: Across Walmart, so, plenty parking!Wheelchair accessibility: Very spacious for a wheelchair to navigate at ease!“

“We went to Cascadia for their Easter brunch, the first time Cascadia was doing this in a couple of years I was told. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with smiles and staff welcoming us, directing us where the brunch was taking place and seating us at our table. Serious kudos to the staff for their welcoming attitude. The brunch itself had excellent food with entire stations for appetizers, main courses, a carving station and of course dessert (see vid for the dessert station, yeh!). Added bonus points for photographers walking around taking pictures of people enjoying their meals with their families, the live music that was at the perfect volume to still enjoy conversations and the champagne/mimosas that were included in the price. We had a fantastic time and looking forward to making this an annual tradition.“

“Revising my earlier review below. Koba management contacted me and explained that they exclusively use GF Tamari sauce on the kitchen to avoid cross contamination with the non GF menu items. Only the little condiment sauces can contain wheat. Therefore the meal I'd ordered was indeed GF. The cashier was new and when she communicated with the cook there was a misunderstanding.I appreciate Kobas response and detailed explanation. It would be nice if restaurants that specify GF options train their staff to understand exactly what that entails. My rating of service stands...but my confidence in the food is restored.********I enjoy the food here and patronize koba grill because of their GF options. Ordered my usual GF bowl and it was promptly prepared. I asked for the GF condiment sauce...and was informed they made an error in their supply order and didn't have GF sauce. So that prompted me to ask about the bowl I was going to eat. The cook said "not gluten free". I asked for my money back and after some resistance the cashier finally handed my money back.Koba Grill was careless and irresponsible at the least. Someone with celiac disease can become very sick from ingesting gluten. I don't know if I'll ever return to this establishment.“

“Anyone can seemingly make sushi seem better by making it more complex, but the real test is whether they can take the simple and make it excellent. Sushi-Ki-ichi does just that. They stick to the simple offerings, leading to an experience that feels less Americanized than other Japanese restaurants. That's not to say I don't love some level of creativity, but you don't need it here. That's because the family that owns Sushi Ki-ichi wants to create an authentic meal - a notion that was confirmed for sure when we had a conversation with the owner. In fact, they take quality to the next level with their equipment and efforts they take to make sure that what they serve is the highest quality, including specific freezers for the fish. We didn't try Sushi Ki-ichi for the first couple of years because we figured that the previous restaurant, a Chinese buffet that had gone downhill and fallen off the cliff, had rebranded and reopened as something new. Now I feel that for those first couple of years, we missed out. This has quickly become my favorite place in Portland. I look forward to any trips I take across town from Vancouver to Tigard, and make a point to stop in and grab a bite.“
