“Inviting ambiance. Polite servers. Amazing food. Easy parking lot parking. I stopped by at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon and it was surprisingly busy. I was quickly seated and ordered the Sake Aisuru Don and edamame. The Sake Aisuru Don (salmon sashimi, salmon belly, and minced salmon over rice) was extremely fresh. The meats were so refreshing and filling. The soft and silky salmon meats made my tastebuds sing. The edamame was portioned well and the light salt was nice. I'm pleased to have had an experience that makes me want to return!”

“Anyone can seemingly make sushi seem better by making it more complex, but the real test is whether they can take the simple and make it excellent. Sushi-Ki-ichi does just that. They stick to the simple offerings, leading to an experience that feels less Americanized than other Japanese restaurants. That's not to say I don't love some level of creativity, but you don't need it here. That's because the family that owns Sushi Ki-ichi wants to create an authentic meal - a notion that was confirmed for sure when we had a conversation with the owner. In fact, they take quality to the next level with their equipment and efforts they take to make sure that what they serve is the highest quality, including specific freezers for the fish. We didn't try Sushi Ki-ichi for the first couple of years because we figured that the previous restaurant, a Chinese buffet that had gone downhill and fallen off the cliff, had rebranded and reopened as something new. Now I feel that for those first couple of years, we missed out. This has quickly become my favorite place in Portland. I look forward to any trips I take across town from Vancouver to Tigard, and make a point to stop in and grab a bite.”

“I am not typically a fan of chain restaurants but this one has converted me. I love their food and it is so easy to order takeout online. You can even opt to get a text message when your order is ready and it is pretty accurate. I love to order their cucumber salad, pork ribs, and spicy chicken noodles or the wontons with spicy sauce. Yum!”

“Our favorite Portland area brew pub. Just has a great combination of a cool relaxing atmosphere, frequent live music, interesting menu, big windows and patio for people watching … great staff too. It’s a real community get together. Staff are real nice folks.”

“They were very accommodating we took our 81 year old dad for his birthday. First they made sure that the seating was OK for him not to cold or not on the high seats. Then we had the best waitress her name was Rebecca R she was so nice and very attentive and she was busy seen her everywhere plus it was a Friday night. I just had to say something because lately my husband and I have been going out every weekend and the service has been terrible. Thank you for my dads birthday special Tina”

“Had a wonderful dinner here the other day! We sat at the bar & was met with exceptional service from the bartender. He made sure we were taken cared of & not forgotten. The Bloody Mary he whipped up was delicious! The pasta I got was also great & so were the fried pickle spears(seasonal menu item). My bf got the burger & he said it was good. Great place for a lil date night or a girls night!”

“I had lunch there yesterday with a friend and it was beyond our expectations. The food was delicious, and the portions were huge. We ordered the shrimp ceviche and steak fajitas and had leftovers enough for another meal. Also, the staff was pleasant and Betty, who is part of the Margarita Factory family, who gracious and took the time to talk with us. I would definitely urge anybody to visit this beautiful restaurant! I've already planned a girl's night-out there next week... can't wait! (also, the happy hour has amazing deals)”

“I’m visiting from out of state, and want some seafood. Typed in seafood near me and Pacific Boil and lounge piped up. I drove there and was Greeted by a very nice young man behind the counter and he help my pick out the what I wanted and let me tell you I was not disappointed”

“Came here for the prime rib special, it's Friday and Saturday nights. Great food, I couldn't finish it, I was too full! Prompt service, friendly staff. It's also a pub so sports on the TV's, not sure if minors are allowed in the daytime.”

“Fabulous atmosphere, a unique interior design which features a beautiful bar layout that harkens to a modern take on a synthesis of classic British pubs. (Polished woodwork, brass, and decorative glass accents.) Attentive service, wonderfully prepared food for almost any palette. Fairly adequate parking as well, but it may be wise to bring either a compact or midsized car to be sure there is adequate egress from your vehicle.”

“JEAN IS THE BEST She cares about her job and her customers she gives a 110% she brightens up your day she's always got a smile she's a caring person it makes me want to come back the drinks are great there and all the staff there is awesome but Jean is the best sweet kind caring patient and always makes the drinks the way you want I love it there”

“I love this place. Great amount of tastings. I recommend the Mari gold, flora green, blue Dorris and sweet vermouth. Nice food selection as well. The bartenders are so great and knowledgeable of their cocktails and liqueurs. If you haven’t been here, come check it out. ***update also get the Lintik, paper plane and apoco spritz”

“My dad took me to lunch after shopping. This was an awesome lunch! Cafe style ...I got a beautiful salad and added chicken to it. The chicken was clean and moist. My dad got a burger with a salad instead of chips and loved it. Great service too. I recommended trying it.”

“Best for groups of 4 so you can get decent seats or larger groups if you want to rent the private room. Otherwise, I’ve always been sat next to the service stand or kitchen doors, which brings down the quality of every visit.I miss their Clackamas Mall location, it was absolutely gorgeous and I had better service.Parking: There is a parking garage right across the street and a small lot to the side.”

“I honestly cannot say enough good things about Divine Catering! They catered my wedding on 8/20/2022 and did a fantastic job. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully set up. The catering staff were on-time, friendly, and very professional.The team behind Divine Catering made sure that I was taken care of during the whole process of setting up wedding catering. Katherine answered all of my questions in a timely and informative manner, addressing the rough reviews of the past with honesty and complete details of changes that had been made since. Lisa was extremely attentive to our booking and even went to look at my venue before the event to get an idea of what would be needed the day of. She made me feel heard and taken care of during our phone conversations and our tastings. I only got to meet the chef, Alisa, once in passing but she was kind and helped to answer questions regarding various appetizers and vegan entrees.Catering can be difficult to navigate for weddings, but Divine Catering really took the time to ensure our event was everything we wanted and within our budget. “This is a great store and it will make your taste buds sing. I like it for the wide variety of prepared and hot foods. Since the takeover by Amazon I have noticed some changes in the Whole Foods chain. The massive bakery counter with long display cases of wonderful baked items has shrunk massively. Perhaps this stuff didn’t sell well due to it’s high price. Apparently men don’t shave anymore (At least in the opinion of Amazon) since men’s shaving products have all but vanished. I hope the downward slide is not a continuing trend.”

“We went to Cascadia for their Easter brunch, the first time Cascadia was doing this in a couple of years I was told. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with smiles and staff welcoming us, directing us where the brunch was taking place and seating us at our table. Serious kudos to the staff for their welcoming attitude. The brunch itself had excellent food with entire stations for appetizers, main courses, a carving station and of course dessert (see vid for the dessert station, yeh!). Added bonus points for photographers walking around taking pictures of people enjoying their meals with their families, the live music that was at the perfect volume to still enjoy conversations and the champagne/mimosas that were included in the price. We had a fantastic time and looking forward to making this an annual tradition.”
