Inside John Barleycorns, you'll find a nice, dark, cozy space — topped by a dramatic cathedral ceiling — and McMenamins-strength ales and spirits. Outside, the terrace is surrounded by a garden.Stop by with family and friends for a pint or two, handcrafted in-house.Happy Happy Hour 2-5 everyday“

“My cheeseburger sliders were super tasty. Fries were way to salty though. My hubby had the sausage platter with cheese sauce. It was great, I had Irish Stout, always good. We sampled some other beers, pretty tasty and great anniversary dinner out of the house. Terminator Stout Mustard Rules!“

“Highly recommended by locals and it didn’t disappoint. I enjoy sours and that’s what brought me here. The large selection of beers is fantastic! I enjoyed a flight of 5 different beers and the bartender gave me a taste of a seasonal one to boot. I was visiting from Alabama for the weekend and I am so glad I was directed to this brewery! The area had great shopping too. Cool local stores nearby.“

“My favorite beer has come to Portland! The new taproom said dog friendly on the site but know that means patio. They still made it as nice as possible for us by building a fire and bringing water out for our pup. Great service, nice people, and delicious beer.“

“I got the Paloma, Forager pizza, and the artichoke dip.10/10. Don’t sleep on this spot!Hands down the best artichoke dip. Creamy, full of veggies, and so tasty.Pizza was awesome. I personally love Detroit style pizza but I’ve never had one with an oil instead of sauce on top. SOO good! The crust has a crunchy outside throughout which is sometimes not the case at other establishments.Paloma was top notch. Loved our first visit, can’t wait to come back.“

“Preston is one of the kindest, most personable bartenders in the city, so glad LB was able to retain his talents. Give that man a raise.Beers are diverse; light sours are the main attraction, but plenty of IPAs, stouts + lagers as well. The lager is stellar. Nice to finally see some higher ABV options.Patio is great, dog friendly, both open air + more private options. The establishment encourages outside seating, which is nice to see when most places are practicing COVID denial.Lawless BBQ is no Holy Trinity, but damn good, and very reasonably priced. Happy Hour has some great deals!!All around great spot. Cheers!!“

Mutantis Cult Brewery Brewery •
6719 NE 18th Ave, Portland

“This place is so charming. They had great beer choices and also a wonderful selection of non-alcoholic options for beverages. The decor was entertaining and has a really good vibe. I use a walker and have a service dog and was able to easily navigate the space. There is a ramp to the main door but also a flat lip if you go through the open garage doors. Parking was easy there is also bike parking right out front.“
