“It is undoubtedly one of the best winery bars in Portland, with the best wines, environment, and atmosphere. They make a lot of experimental wines that are very special and delicious. The bar is decorated in the style of a jazz bar, and the music is played on vinyl records. There are drinking spaces on the first and second floors, both of which are very comfortable. It's a pity that they only get a lot of customers coming in to drink when there are events nearby. I hope everyone will come and support us even when there are no activities.“
“In the city of breweries, this is the best brewery.“

“It had been a few years since I been there, and it was the same...great beers and delicious food. Also, going in the summer is the best, love the outdoor space.“
“If you are in portland do make it a point t to visit Leikam, it's not downtown, not fancy, next to under consturction lots...BUT it's a must!
What they lack in location they make up in the best bar crew, backyard bar feel..so fun to just chill and chat about anything under the sun or moon.
Oh and the beers awesome too!!
Forget the fancy Portland breweries..this is the one to be at!“
“My wife and I hosted a welcome event in the Baerlic event space the night before our wedding for out of town guests and it was great! Plenty of room but still intimate, a nice aesthetic, and the bartender was friendly and provided excellent service. Their beers are great and the nonalcoholic options were also phenomenal, I would go back! We had Ranch pizza do catering, not only was it super convenient but the pizza was delicious, we had some guests from Detroit who gave it their stamp of approval.“
“The IPAs wete so good!! We'll definitely be back!!“
“Gluten-free beer and a very nice atmosphere where you can hear each other speak, with nice music. Michaela was the most hospitable and patient bartender I’ve ever encountered. Give her a raise and a bonus for helping create a delightful and warm atmosphere that people will want to keep coming back to, especially on cold, rainy Portland nights.“
“Sarah and Abby are the greatest bartenders I have ever experienced. Both so considerate and observant and just pleasant af. Always know when I am ready for another drink. Also just so sweet and kind and cool and make me feel so special. The reason I come! Thank you for making me and my friends feel so good. I hope your employer knows how incredibly cool and valuable you are! I will come again and again to see you both!“
“We love having a beer at Occidental. Often, we take a deck of cards and a cribbage board and hangout while enjoying a delicious brew. My favorite of late is a Japanese inspired rice beer. My husband consistently goes for the Hefeweizen. The only downside is the lack of food... We do hear that they may add a food cart or two. We hope it's true!“

“This airy, plant filled bottle shop and pub just opened right off the Yellow Line in Kenton. It’s spacious, bright and inviting. The staff are friendly and their tap list is good, plus they have lots of delicious to-go options. Happy to have them in the neighborhood!
Update 2024: Love Mayfly more than ever! They always have a great selection of fun rotating cans/bottles/taps. They frequently have events and food pop ups. Most importantly, they allow minors until 6pm now which makes it easier for our family to enjoy them.“

“Lynn was incredibly helpful when I needed to create a gift for our head carpenter. She helped me choose beer and a tee shirt and then helped me carry everything to the car. I can't say enough about the service. Thanks Lynn.“

“Great setup with the various food vendors that are part of the building. Lots of different styles of beer and the server was friendly. The Timbers were on TV and this seems like a fun place to watch a game but we couldn’t stick around. Would like to come back in the summer and enjoy the covered patio.“

“Love McMenamins, they have consistently good food, music, low lighting, beautiful art, lovely places, all of them.
However, this particular location has an issue with their service. At times, you'll be forgotten about or outright ignored while the servers chat it up with each other at the bar. They OFTEN just stand around talking to each other for long stretches.
It's fine to socialize at work in this type of environment, sure, not opposed to that. But when I'm sitting waiting for 15 mins and no one approaches to take my order or serve me water, all while laughing and talking about their pets at the bar, it reflects very poorly.“

“I've always loved McMenamins. Great service and great food. Best part is learning the history at each location! Fish and chips, beer is top notch! Have to give a huge shoutout to Ryan, our waiter. Superior service with a smile and went above and beyond to make my 10 year old comfortable!!! Such a sweetheart, will be back to see him!“

“Honestly, I had low expectations coming here as the atmosphere inside was giving me 80s office plaza vibes, but they had a really great beer selection (dark, light, ciders, etc) and their bar food was great! Exactly what we needed for a happy hour. Their patio is great especially on a nice day with a breeze! This place did not disappoint“
“Great remodel from when it was Modern Times Fermentorium…good beer selection, friendly service…great overall experience!“
“I love ruse. I have been a patron since they opened. Frequent both crust collective and SE. one of the few taprooms that allows dogs inside- which is awesome. Not a fan of their recent pricing changes. $8 for a couvers light? When it’s $4 in a can. I can understand the simplicity of having them all cost the same but Seems more like a cash grab.“

“I want to say that I am impressed a friend invited me to this brewery, I was skeptical at first, but I was trilled after I've tasted the beers. We had two sets of samplers with 12 different beers, which I can tell that they have a variety of beers!I really enjoyed my time here.“
“I love this place! Deja is an amazing bartender, and the selection of crafted beers is top notch. And don’t forget to check out the gluten free food truck! Their corndogs are to die for! Highly recommend that you check out this local queer owned business!“
“bloop was a great sour and the staff was amazing!!“
“Great beer, great people, fantastic decor in a comfortable setting. Awesome food next door. Go there now!“
“Excellent beer and great service! We were so stoked when we learned Chuckanut was opening a tap house in Portland! We were glad to drive hours to get some of the best lagers in the PNW, but 15 minutes is a lot better!“
“I really enjoyed this pod! There are 8+ different places to eat and the food here is wonderful. My wife and I personally tried , "flew the coop" and "La Arepa" and both had great service and the food was delicious. The attached brewery had an amazing selection of beers. The only detractor was that there was A Lot of very hoppy beers. That is a personal preference though. The Beer I did have was delicious. It's very family friendly and I enjoyed it.“

“I saw a review on crypto investment that changed my story for good. I never believed it at first but after much convincing by my account manager in the person of Mrs Craig Vanessa I decided to give it a trial with just $5,000 even though there was a lower cost of investment. Starting with this, I made a profit of $35,500 in the first week. I am sharing this here for those that may have an interest. Mrs. Craig Vanessa is genuine and her style of trade is unique. Completely top-notch and different from the rest. Contact her today and you will not regret it. Send her a DM on WhatsApp via the number on her Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa“
“Up and coming little nano brewery in the north side of town, no food served but Thai food truck right out front and home brew supply store next door. The location is a modern mix of industrial brewing equipment and hip tasting room decor with bar games, small patio area, etc. The staff and owners were really friendly, happily providing tastes and information about the establishment. Started with the Ginger Kid Vanilla Red Ale, a decent red, malty in flavor and medium body. Moved on to Gnome Bard Wit, which was a refreshingly nice and light beer for a hot day! Decent bite to it. Also tried the Tiny House Session, another good one, better than the previous in my opinion, more suited for a laid back beer to quench the thirst without getting too buzzed. Lastly, came the Common Cut, which I did not care for too much. All in all a great visit, being a fairly new brewery, I look forward to what they have in store next. With single barrel batches, they often introduce new taps so stay tuned! Check out their website, it will win you over pronto! Thanks guys, see ya again soon! Best, ~S“

“It took forever to get food on a Thursday night with about 4 other tables and 1 guy at the bar. The food was really good and the service was excellent. While waiting our drinks were steadily refilled and the staff made sure we were happy with our meal once it arrived. The restaurant has a really nice vibe and tons of outdoor seating for these gorgeous Summer evenings.“

“Pumpkin Patch Ale: Although I've become less of a beer guy since my college days, I like to try at least one new pumpkin beer each fall. Rogue was founded in 1988 by Jack Joyce, Bob Woodell, Rob Strasser, and Jeff Schultz. Since its inception, they have only had two brewmasters and have won more than 2,000 awards for taste, quality, and packaging. For starters, I love the artwork on the can, which in my opinion is just as important as the taste as I like to display my pumpkin beer bottles and cans this time of year. It's an eye-catching pumpkin orange with a depiction of a pumpkin patch and one particularly ghoulish looking pumpkin. Pumpkin Patch Ale is made using whole pumpkins that Rogue chops up and roasts by hand. Hand roasting allows for a more precise caramelization of the natural sugars. Combining the sugars with the perfect balance of spices results in Pumpkin Patch Ale's signature flavor. The ale comes in at 6.1% ABV and has an IBU of 25. It pours an orangish/amber color and is slightly hazy. I found the flavor to be a mild pumpkin that was not overly spicy or too vegetable-like. Very drinkable, Doughboy approved.

“Making our way to Thunder Island for a sunny stroll, we stopped here for a bite - and wow, were we impressed! Staff were super friendly, food was spot on (we had mahi mahi fish tacos and pulled pork sandwich with rosemary garlic fries), beers were delicious, and the building and grounds have such a welcoming, peaceful vibe with incredible views all around (not shown are the river and Bridge of the Gods views). Dogs welcome too! We can't wait to return and definitely recommend a visit to Gorges!“
“Cozy Neighborhood venue, perfect for dinner, special events, private parties, friendly staff.“
“If I lived in Portland I'd come here regularly. The beer was amazing and Jason was awesome to talk to. It was really cool experiencing a nano brewery and trying some awesome beers made by someone who loves beer. The hazy IPA I had was amazing and I'm definitely going to miss it.“
“I traded with $500 in my wallet after seeing so many testimonies and recommendation here on Facebook and YouTube about Mrs Cathy Frederick after mining and trading in my account. I want to thank you for your help and love you showed me when I was very poor, now you have made my life so beautiful you're the best manager I can recommend everyone to work with, thank you MrsCathy Frederick“
“This is another gem in the McMenamins line of fun, historical establishments - and by far my favorite! Been here many times over the years - actually even had my very first lobster roll EVER here (as a special item years ago) and it was amazing. The vibe is so quirky - you definitely feel like you’re walking the halls of your old elementary school - except there are bars and a lively restaurant and even a brewery haha!! The staff has always been super welcoming and friendly. The food at their main Courtyard Restaurant has always been great. On my last visit (July 2023), I had their chicken salad sandwich on croissant and it was SO GOOD!! Even their tater tots were perfectly cooked. And they even have some of the best iced tea I’ve had outside of the south! Their menu changes seasonally so it’s always a treat to try something new. After eating, leave time to explore - the grounds are just gorgeous and you’ll get lost in the nostalgia as you wander around the old school’s hallways. They have several bars - one is huge and has total steampunk vibes. They have a small hotel and a salt water pool - even the bathrooms are beautiful. I’d definitely like to stay here next time - but I imagine it can be a tad spooky at night haha! The school opened back in 1915 so it’s a historic building. The wall art is gorgeous and there are lots of info signs and historical pics scattered around. It’s in a good location in north Portland with plenty of parking and easy to find. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!“
“Local spot in my neighborhood. Always amazing service. The ambience is chill. The food is good with a decent variety. The beer options never disappoint. The problem I have is the one food item I perpetually go back for is the grilled chx Caesar salad (the dressing is yum)!. What I’ve noticed in the last couple years up to this evening is the price stays the same if not inflate (expected) but when you pay full price and receive 1.5oz of chicken is not ok. The ex-large croutons surpass the size and qty of chx provided. I ordered an extra side of chx breast to balance the romaine and croutons and I swear it’s a 1/4 of a butterflied, pounded out chx breast. I sent in an email months ago to convey my dissatisfaction with the Stormbreaker team and never rcvd acknowledgement. I understand the staff needs to follow protocol. This is the owners call.“

“Friendly place to get a beer and chill. Water front with a beautiful view! Staff are genuinely nice and happy to help you find a beer to your liking. Catfish bites and fried pickles were great. Kitchen is small, so on busy nights, get your order in early or you may wait a little while. Holiday weekend so we weren't in a hurry!
Parking: On busy nights you may have to park at an adjacent lot and walk, but it's not far!“
“My great nephew was playing drums in a large band to a packed house upstairs in Crystal Ballroom. A dozen or so of assorted family had come to Portland to partake and as the matinee was wrapping up in the late afternoon I said to the drummers mom, who was kind of our ring-leader, I'd go downstairs and stake out a big table for all of us to eat. Shortly after sitting at the largest table in the farthest from the bar corner of the side room, the bartender came to tell me they weren't really staffed to be serving in that room. I told him I had maybe a dozen people coming down from upstairs and we'd be an easy, forgiving crowd. He looked dubious, and said he'd need to check with the manager. He was back quickly putting out menus and arranging chairs. Our final number was ten, and our only server was this same guy who was also one of maybe two bartenders for the whole place. As he took our orders he said it would likely take up to an hour for the kitchen to produce our food, because dozens of people from upstairs had come in as well. Our drinks came quickly, and the food arrived in much less time than he suggested. Every order was correct. To my knowledge everybody liked what they ordered and the prices seemed about right. He did not seem in the slightest rattled by adding our big group to his personal workload and came back a few times to see how were all doing and take additional orders for drinks. And the drummer and the rest of us we were out of there well in time for the evening show at 8:00. I don't know if this really is an excellent place, but it sure was for us.“
