“Visited for the first time. My friend recommended this place and took me here. Simple menu options. The chocolate gooeye brownie was delicious ?. The staffs are friendly too. You get free samples of all the ice cream and can decide what you want to order. #LOVE_IT ?????“

Enjoyed the complimentary dill popcorn but not my partner bc there's something about it that keeps going up our nostrils ?‍♀️.
We enjoyed the hangar steak done medium rare. The grilled veggie dishes like the broccolini and summer squash were enjoyable too.
The cocktail that i enjoyed was the Old Sway with rye, bitters, and orange peel.

Happy hour food/drinks menu available from 4-6pm on Mon- Sat, and 5-9pm on Sun.

“A stunning experience. When I walked in I was greeted by the most charming host who quickly sat my party of five. We had all just arrived from a weekend in Saint Tropez and was properly famished. The atmosphere reminded me of places I often frequent in Berlin: atmospheric, warm, and intimate. Our food arrived promptly and the plating was perfect. Honest and delicious, I licked the plate as it felt right. Once I’m back from Ibiza this is the first stop I’ll make.

“Brunch here was everything I've heard. I've wanted to eat here for ages. The Besaws pancake is life! The crispy potatoes are uniquely delicious. The service is phenomenal.“

“Dinner with a couple of friends and we decided to try out the menu. Started with Aracini and the MB Salad. Delicious! On to the main dishes of Foie & Chicken Mousse, Grilled Prawns and King Salmon with Grilled Potatoes and Brussel Sprouts. Finished with the Gilled Bananas Foster. All the dishes were excellent. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or efficient.“

“Hopefully the owner of this shop is so proud of the community establishment she has created! I have been temporarily living a block away for work the last few months and this place has saved me. I missed the anniversary party and any other events she may have had, but it’s been a delight having such a gem near by. Even if I move a little further from the city, this unassuming place is worth the trek! The creativity, attention to detail, and care can almost be tasted in the air…. although i recommend actually tasting one of her pastries! Hehe. Quiche also must be “grandmas secret recipe” type deal. 10/10 .. or 5/5 whatever it is, check this spot out!!!

“We came here for pho and it sure didn't disappoint. We ordered P4 and P10 and both bowls had huge portions of beef and noodles. The broth was also spot on.

Parking: The parking lot is behind the restaurant. There's also street parking.“

“This bar is so cozy! The atmosphere is very welcoming and they have plenty of seating around the bar and tables. Would be a great date spot.

“Coming back from a hike at Powell Butte, a friend and I stopped by here to enjoy a lunch. The breakfast sandwich (~$6) and the croissant sandwich (~$8) I got were both refreshing and filling, and I got to sample some of another sandwich (~$14) which definitely I would have to take half home if I had it for myself. The ambiance was very relaxing and I could see myself doing an artistic venture here. I also had a latte which did the job for me. The highlight was the cannoli which I've never had before. But the ricotta cheese and the pastry puff complemented eachother perfectly and the choice of almonds, chocolate chips, and pistachios at the ends of the cannoli made a fun pizzaz. would love to come back more frequently if I lived closer!“

“First time eating Sri Lankan, and I think it is my favorite. Helps that I had a Sri Lankan friend with me to order and everything was delicious. Flavors that made my mouth happy. Spicy but not too much. We had two different types of roti, string hoppers, dishes with eggplant, chicken, jackfruit, and pop sambol. Flavors were out of this world. The cardamom flan for dessert was yummy and the Sri Lankan Iced Coffee was so good. Can’t wait to return“

“What a gem of a coffee shop!! We are so glad we tucked in for a cup of coffee. The coffee is delicious and the latte art is so cute. The desserts were the perfect sweet treat for a rainy Saturday afternoon. The shop carries so many darling items, many are perfect for cat lovers. We will definitely be back!!“

My daughter has celiac and trust me when I tell you that you give up ZERO by eating gluten free at The Slide Inn. FYI, none of us had ever tasted onion rings quite so good. “What a lovely spot with great food! Some friends with dietary restrictions recommended we meet up here since they have a plethora of gluten free and vegan options and I happily obliged. Not only were there plenty of GF/vegan options, but I really enjoyed their fried chicken (it seemed like a weird choice at first but there were so many good reviews I had to give it a go, and it was pretty stellar fried chicken!). The tea leaves salad was also very good and they had some sort of awesome potato dish that was way better than one would expect. Fun variety of options here (gonna try the giant dumpling next time), food came fast, cocktails were good too, nothing but good things to say and hope to go back next time I'm in town!

“This has become our new fav date spot. We do coffee weekly and have come here numerous times. It's vegan and their flavor combos are so beautiful. Strawberry whine cold brew.

Dietary restrictions: This is a vegan restaurant. You don't have to ask for alternative milk! The sandwiches, coffee, all of it. There's a vegan grocery store located on the other side so you can get all your shopping done at the same time!“

“The fish and the chicken are great. My wife loved the fish and their garlic rice was the best I've ever had. Small kitchen is punching much higher than their size would lead you to expect. The lobby they are in is very cute as well.
Definitely will be back. Definitely worth your visit.
Last thing, their portions are pretty big, it's expensive, but you will be full!“

“This place had a great staff, that was very welcoming. The choice to dine inside or outside, plus a large tent area outside. The food was on point, choosing from slider size or full size, gives everyone the portion size that suits their stomachs desire. A nice cool evening to be outside.

“Coffee shop featuring Moroccan-inspired drinks. Great location by the Fields Park. The shop has big windows that let in light and offer pleasant views. The barista that took my order was very friendly and helpful with my questions.
I got a pumpkin chocolate scone and a Moroccan chai. Scone was good, crispy outside and fluffy inside. The Moroccan chai was cool - I think it was sprinkled with coarse sugar, which created a sort of crust on top of the foam, but the rest of the drink wasn't super sweet, and the spices were strong but smooth.
This was a good choice for something a little different.“

“I'm honestly ashamed that I'd never had Filipino food before trying Baon, but I'm so grateful to have been introduced to this amazing food thru Baon. They are doing great things. They have great vegan options. The Pancit noodles are insanely delicious. I have to get them atleast once a week and I cannot stress this enough: THEY MAKE THEIR OWN NOODLES IN HOUSE!!!! Like. I'm shook. Do you know how tedious and difficult it is to make noodles? And to make them consistently perfect every time? I can't wrap my mind around it. And they make a calamansi soda in house that is awesome. I didn't even know what a calamansi was until I went to Baon, now it's one of my favorite fruits. Owners are the kindest people ever. I love this place!“

“I’ve been here twice! The coffee is decent (the mocha tastes a lil funky to me) and the baked goods are absolutely amazing.

I do have celiac disease and unfortunately I think I may have been glutened here! I’ve had the same pastry twice and once was totally fine, but the second (today) was the only food I’d had since the day prior. I unfortunately am writing this review parked on the porcelain throne, with one of the worst gluten reactions I’ve had since I got diagnosed.

Obviously I can’t say for 100% sure (and given it’s a dedicated space it really does seem super unlikely!) but the timing matched my usual gluten exposure consequences perfectly ):“

“Lots of good things to say about this great place, but I'll focus on one. Quiche. Most places that serve quiche are essentially serving frittatas with a crust. Quiche is meant to have a custard texture with the ingredients layered on top of the egg, not blended throughout -- and all within a buttery pie crust. A good quiche is heaven, and so hard to find. Mehri's Cafe and Bakery does quiche right, and that's a rare treat.“

“I walked up to order and saw loads of basil in front of me getting ready to be turned into something delicious. I ordered a small order of arancini balls. I was delighted that I could choose different ones on the same order. They had 4 varieties and all sounded amazing. I ordered the original mozz and the pepperoni and mozz. Then I could choose from 4 different sauces and I chose the original marinara. These were so good along with the sauce that I can’t wait to go back and try all of them but next time I’m ordering the large for sure! Additionally I ordered the Italian chopped salad and added grilled chicken and soppressata dry cured ham. It was an explosion of flavors! The grilled chicken was so good along with the ham. I can’t wait to go back and try more. Next I’m trying either the eggplant parm sub of the vegan pesto pasta, especially after witnessing the mound-o-basil. I won’t be forgetting the large aracini balls either ;)“
