“Hopefully the owner of this shop is so proud of the community establishment she has created! I have been temporarily living a block away for work the last few months and this place has saved me. I missed the anniversary party and any other events she may have had, but it’s been a delight having such a gem near by. Even if I move a little further from the city, this unassuming place is worth the trek! The creativity, attention to detail, and care can almost be tasted in the air…. although i recommend actually tasting one of her pastries! Hehe. Quiche also must be “grandmas secret recipe” type deal. 10/10 .. or 5/5 whatever it is, check this spot out!!!

“I got their espresso flight which included espresso and filter coffee with their house blend, two different single origin espresso shots, and sparkling water. They have very interesting anaerobic processed coffee to taste. There were lots of people in the shop and workers were friendly.“

“Speedboat coffee is a very cute coffee shop. It has the classic homey feeling that I love in a coffee shop.We got chai tea lattes and they were delicious.We also got some GF treats that were made by the owners mom. They were delicious, however my partner has celiac disease and had a reaction to them. I do not fault the business, accounting for celiac disease in gluten free foods is difficult because of the cross contamination and even needing to use separate cutting boards or other utensils. I only mention this so other people with celiac can remain safe!I will be returning to speedboat for more coffee soon! Thanks for the great service.“

“I’m a snobby coffee lover. Often i find myself disappointed; either disappointed with no in-house flavors, low quality beans, or lack of true barista passion. THIS is a coffee shop with PASSION for coffee. In house Pumpkin Spice that isn’t too sweet or over powering the espresso. It was blended to perfection, the barista was bubbly, sweet as pie, and clearly loved being a barista! 100/10 latte (seriously)! Can’t wait to come back soon, really wish we had coffee like THIS in Eugene OR! Thank you to the barista for the wonderful conversation and even more delicious latte! You deserve all the kindness and love in life!“

“I was looking for a good chai and saw this place was recommended. Not only was my chai very good but I got a berry pop-tart pastry and it was amazing! The baristas were so cheerful too. I will be going back to this place.“

“This cute little spot is very hip (in the black metal seating and minimalism decor sort of way), very cute. I got the famed marionberry poptart which lived up to the hype. I got a season pistachio drink that ended up being a little too sweet for my taste (I was told it was slightly sweet but was surprised when it was full blown). Latte art was beautiful. The barista was wonderfully helpful and gave a full rundown of the offerings. This is not a work in a coffee shop sort of cafe. The tables are small yet cute. Better to plan for a short visit.“

“Coffee shop featuring Moroccan-inspired drinks. Great location by the Fields Park. The shop has big windows that let in light and offer pleasant views. The barista that took my order was very friendly and helpful with my questions.
I got a pumpkin chocolate scone and a Moroccan chai. Scone was good, crispy outside and fluffy inside. The Moroccan chai was cool - I think it was sprinkled with coarse sugar, which created a sort of crust on top of the foam, but the rest of the drink wasn't super sweet, and the spices were strong but smooth.
This was a good choice for something a little different.“

“Best coffee shop in town. My parents have been coming here since 1993 and I have fond childhood memories here. I started coming daily in 2018 and I'm here almost every single day. As far as the coffee goes, sometimes the line is long and sometimes drinks don't come out super fast, but the coffee *I* think is the best in the city. They use a Seattle brand, Cafe D'Arte, which I'm sure plays a role in that. Ian, the manager, is just a fantastic human being, as are all the staff at the shop. I've come to be friends with them, and hung out with most of them outside of work at this point. The people who go here are just as nice and I've made friends with a lot of regulars over the years too. I often run into my neighbors here. The shop itself is one of the few I've seen these days that's kept its bohemianesque early-2000s aesthetic and I find it incredibly cozy and homey. If they remodeled to be chic and white I'd be devastated at this point. By far one of my favorite places to be. Great place to get work done, too, with wifi and plugs and great music.“

“The latte is good. We came in during their Columbia bean rotation. It has noticeable flavor which is one of the things I look in good coffee but maybe it is because of the size (medium) it not very strong. So this makes it taste a little bland after you get used to the flavor.

I also didn’t see any crema before the pour. Maybe they mix their espresso? Not sure. Good spot to try definitely. But I probably won’t be coming back soon since there are many other nice places to try.“

“So happy to have a vegan spot. The barista (not sure of her name but new to Portland was kind and a great listener). Used to frequent in the past but the music was too loud. This time it was perfect, cafe music not kitchen music. They have a lovely WIDE bar at the window, unlike the 6" wide ones at many places.

I did not love the Portal brand matcha. Would frequent more if the matcha was better, like Mizuba which only a couple of place in Portland use (maybe due to the price point). They use a high quality CLEAN oat milk.

Would also love more soy free food options. Bring back the beet salad and kofta :-). I would also love pastries/sweets with coconut sugar or maple instead of cane sugar but I know the price point makes that prohibitive.

Go try them out. I simply listed my suggestions above, but they have many great items on the menu!“

“Recently ordered two hot mochas from this location. Unfortunately, we did not end up drinking either of our drinks as they did not have enough mocha flavor to our liking and the shot was so so super acidic (opposite from being bitter). So much so that water was not enough to cleanse our palate of the taste. I am guessing maybe it was just a bad dial and may be okay the rest of the time.“

“Sisters coffee is one of my favorite coffee shops to go to ever! They have some of the best coffee I’ve ever tasted, the Earl Grey espresso latte is the best latte I’ve ever had, but I’m sad it’s only seasonal! Also they have really good breakfast sandwiches as well!! Highly recommend!“

I got the Coconut Chai Tea and also tried The Arabic People Latte (actual names, swipe right to see menu) and they were both superb. The coffee was beyond smooth and just the perfect hint of cardamom. The chai tea also had a subtle note of coconut in one of my all time fav and go to drinks. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Part of going is definitely for the experience! It tastes like an actual orange creamsicle with creamy vanilla notes, and the matcha adds a sweet, grassy freshness to round it out. I’m obsessed and ordered twice so far! Lots of seating, but it gets quite cozy and the store fills up quick.

Americano was nutty and the flavours really came through. They have their coffee dialed in!

There is plenty of space for meeting others or doing a bit of work. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed.
