“Service is always quick and kind. The food is excellent, fresh, unique, and caters to several different dietary restrictions. The location is convenient for workers at or near Montgomery Park, and the music is calming and chill. What an awesome spot!“
“I was SO excited to visit this place with my best friend who lives out of town. We finally made it there and it is even better than I imagined! It is whimsical and colorful and a pure delight to children and inner children alike! Delicious coffee and snacks and super chill staff (and great pricing to boot!) The scavenger hunt is such a fun idea and such a smart way to bring well-deserved attention to Mike's spectacular artwork! The quality and quantity of his art is incredibly impressive and a true labor of love. We even got to chat with the artist and he was so humble, so sweet and so friendly! Cannot recommend this place highly enough!“
“My third time at Keeper Coffee Co. today:)!! I love the feel of the space. It reminds me of a little coffee spot in the UK and I’m always consistently happy with the lattes and choice of pastries etc no matter the time of day.Vegetarian options: Mostly vegetarian not vegan that I know of.“
“Local roaster and coffee shop with multiple options for single-origin coffee. I had a cup of their daily drip offering, which was a Kenyan with pleasant acidity and fruity overtones. Nutty Bars, Star Crunch, and other classic snacks available in lieu of the standard pastries. ??“
“What a gem of a coffee shop!! We are so glad we tucked in for a cup of coffee. The coffee is delicious and the latte art is so cute. The desserts were the perfect sweet treat for a rainy Saturday afternoon. The shop carries so many darling items, many are perfect for cat lovers. We will definitely be back!!“
“@tovcoffeebar in Portland has been by far my favorite coffee place I have found here! I got the Coconut Chai Tea and also tried The Arabic People Latte (actual names, swipe right to see menu) and they were both superb. The coffee was beyond smooth and just the perfect hint of cardamom. The chai tea also had a subtle note of coconut in one of my all time fav and go to drinks. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Part of going is definitely for the experience! We got ours to go, but still went upstairs to the deck while we waited and the atmosphere was so inviting. Also, pup friendly! 5 stars, hands down and will be back. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️“
“Great customer service...the staff were so friendly. The mini donuts were fresh and tasty . The bacon flavor was my favorite...the sweet and salty combo just did it for me :). The were good as well. The golden chai was prob my favorite. I would've like the chai a bit stronger Good ambiance and comfy seating.“
“Nice little family business despite the area only problem I had there was today someone came up and snagged my coffee this morning while I was paying for my stuff the owner handled it quite well said take it and go and quickly had a fresh cup for me.“
“I got the sausage biscuit and it was amazing. My fiancé got the chicken biscuit and he really enjoyed his. We also got the blueberry French toast and it was perfect, a lot of places can’t get French toast right but they did. Service was also amazing, she always made sure we were good on everything.“
“A quaint little hole in the wall coffee shop, serving their own roast. The drip coffee we had has a fruity flavor. Not sure if it was the addition of the sugar free simple syrup or simply the coffee blend. The mocha was delicious & frothy. We also had a raspberry jammer, basically a delicious biscuit with raspberry jam baked into the top. Deadstock is a black-owned business with Great Wall art. Don’t forget to look for the sneaker clock on the wall!“
“Perhaps the best coffee/espresso spot we’ve been to within the U.S. Artistry in the making with every order. Very unique vibe, world class attention to detail, exquisite taste with handmade gelato and espresso whip cream! On top of that, the barista Chef/owner is a cool down to earth guy!“
“One of the best and most unique coffee shop in Portland. Most coffee shops in Portland serve local roasters which is nice but you’ll have the same great tasting coffee at every shop.AdaptCafe highlights roasters from around the world every month. This is such a breathe of fresh air to a scene crowded by the Coavas, Hearts, Nossas and Barista, which I do loves these too but there’s always room for something more.“
“The food quality is good, but the size of the breakfast burritos leave something to be desired, and I am a small person so I don't eat much. Would have been better if they put potatoes in it to bulk it up a little. The people working in there are nice and the lattes and food are good though. I would go back.“
“Awesome little place. Right on the Streetcar route. Abba is pioneering new coffee and drink options; notably the Pistachio latte and the sesame seed latte. These are not made with flavored syrup, instead made in-house into a paste. Abba also boasts a beautiful live in house coffee tree.Parking: Abba is right along the streetcar track in NW Portland, easy to access by foot, bike, or streetcar. Parking is possible, but not nearly as fun as the streetcar.“
“Cozy and quiet boba tea spot. I've been craving a good Jasmine tea and this place delivered better than I could've ever hoped. The boba is fresh and sweet and my tea is perfect (at 75% sweet). Service was quick and pleasant. I'm not Portland local, but I will definitely find my way back here if I'm ever in town again.Parking: There's parking along the street in front of the shop or around the corner.“
“Great and friendly service, and the drinks are so good. Definitely try their seasonal drinks but if you’re weary try their regular menu. The coconut cream latte and Ube latte are some of my favorite, but on days I crave matcha the strawberry matcha is so refreshing. For food I’d definitely recommend the house special bánh mì and for dessert get a donut from Heyday usually in a display case by the register.“
“Speedboat coffee is a very cute coffee shop. It has the classic homey feeling that I love in a coffee shop.We got chai tea lattes and they were delicious. We also got some GF treats that were made by the owners mom. They were delicious, however my partner has celiac disease and had a reaction to them. I do not fault the business, accounting for celiac disease in gluten free foods is difficult because of the cross contamination and even needing to use separate cutting boards or other utensils. I only mention this so other people with celiac can remain safe!I will be returning to speedboat for more coffee soon! Thanks for the great service.“
“This place was very good. The pastries were amazing, definitely try the pan dulce! The coffee was also fantastic and beautifully crafted. Friendly staff and very nice environment and ambiance as well. I recommend them.Vegetarian options: YesDietary restrictions: Dairy freeParking: BusyKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Y es“
“Best blueberry muffin I’ve ever had! Delicious breakfast sandwich with free drip coffee, and a very friendly Nana. Vegetarians: when I said I didn’t want meat on my sandwich, she offered tomato instead which I thought was a nice touch! So lucky to have this spot in the neighborhood.“
“WONDERFUL PLACE! I heard about this restaurant last night at work. We work at a local hospital. A few of us have wanted to try this place for a while. I will be recommending this everyone at work. Amazing food and the gentleman at the shop was so kind. We will come back.“
“WHY U SHOULD GO HERE:The barista is the real deal and so is the beans.Nice open & airy with lots of natural light.Never that busy and clean.A bit sparce and minimalist but easy to walk in.Custom requests no problem!Parking: Finding street parking can be difficult here you can possibly find parking close by but it's at the hospital“
“Oh Em Gee! Maybe had the best coffee I've ever had! First time here and asked if they had any coffee with cayenne. They do not but mentioned their coffees have Moroccan spice so I may taste the kick I wanted. I ordered the Moroccan Pistachio Latte and it didn't disappoint! They top their lattes with honey powder to keep the foam! Simply put... perfect! Bold flavor with a little kick I wanted and just sweet enough to enjoy every sip!“
“Small, cute little shop! Nice selection of drinks and Onigiri, my kids loved them. The only thing I didn’t really like was that each Onigiri was wrapped in plastic wrap and kept warm like that; I think it would be better to wrap in food safe paper and foil so the possibility of plastic particles getting into the food is lessened.“
“Decide to try this out as it is a cute little shop off Division. Walking in, you could see the quaint shop and we were greeted with friendly faces. As it was our first time, we were encouraged to try every flavor and multiple times, if wanted. Met the gelato maker, who hails from Europe, who told us a bit about how he makes the gelato. The gelato was decadent and so smooth. Each flavor was very rich and could tell it wasn't airy. I typically like fruity flavors, but everything here was delicious. Definitely recommend Pinolo and will be coming back! Amazing gelato, friendly service, and cute decor, what's not to love?“
“The owner of this little gem is absolutely wonderful! We spoke with him for close to an hour when me, my partner, and a friend recently visited for the first time. And that's just icing on the cake on top of the delicious baked goods he makes. I wanted to get one of everything, it all looked so good! The items I did end up getting were delicious: breakfast sandwich on a yummy biscuit, chocolate chip cookie (this cookie was AMAZING), puff pastry filled with a yummy sweet something“
“You've got to check this place out. Amazing mocktails, beautiful art, great selection of totally nostalgic '90s kids snacks, Pop-Tarts, muddy buddies, but seriously, what an amazing hangout spot. Comfy, cozy, and everyone was really friendly and “
“Unless you enjoy the brunch scene wait reservations are the way to go.The food is a mix of modern country kitchen. At other places they have biscuits as an option, I feel like the Tin Shed makes the biscuit the center piece in a lot of their dishes, which is great because these biscuits are hands down the best in town. The only negative remark is, depending on where you sit the chairs can be very uncomfortable.“
“I'm so sorry to rate them anything less than 5 stars, but I can't. The lattes taste amazing, but they cost at least a dollar more ($6.75 with regular milk) than at most other nearby shops, and they don't give customers a 25 cent or similar discount for bringing their own cup. Seems like that policy just encourages waste.“
“The place looks not so orderly but the guy that worked there was friendly and the people there seemed also friendly. The coffee was very affordable with a mediocre taste.Parking: Even if one might not find just next to their door you should be able able to find a free parking spot very close this place.“
“My partner and I come here every now and again, the server Tia is always so friendly and patient with us while figuring out our drinks and the comedy shows on Thursday nights are hands down the best and most well curated “underground” comedy in Portland. 10/10 would recommend if looking for a great taproom.“
“Mudd Works has turned into my #1 favorite place to get coffee. As someone who was born and raised in Portland—and drinks coffee every morning—that’s saying something. Their Chili Mex is the most well-balanced interpretation of a Mexican Mocha I’ve had to date, and their service is impeccable. You can tell they genuinely love their work and their customers. Mudd Works is a hidden gem, don’t miss out!“
“Stopped in a couple of days ago after a long, cold hike in the rain. Even though they had finished serving coffee for the day, Jesse was so nice to make me a pour-over hot coffee - just what I needed to warm up, and such a great cup of coffee! ☺️ Will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area!“
“I had my doubts at first about the ricotta hotcakes with how many flavors they incorporate, but it BLEW MY MIND! definitely recommend this place just based on that alone, but all the other dishes were also stellar - we had the potato hash and the Just Beet It salad.Kid-friendliness: There’s a kids area with toys and books!“
“me and my partner went on a bike ride and discovered poppy’s and we seriously go every weekend morning now. OBSESSED with the “maca smoothie” it’s super sweet and balanced with the almond butter which we both absolutely love. And Emily is so considerate, a few times going there they already remember what we order! I love the environment and energy they give off and we will forever be returning customers“
“Incredibly scrumptious and spacious place! The coffee is incredible, and both the food and pastries are top-notch. Its late hours and inviting environment make it perfect for studying. The amber latte is remarkable, smoothly blending caramel and cinnamon—sweet but not overly so, offering a perfect caffeine buzz with a spicy kick. The BLT is toothsome, savory, and perfectly balanced.Parking can be a bit challenging. There is a small lot, but it gets busy. I recommend parking on the street and walking up. Expect to pay $5-8 for a drink and $5-13 for food. This spot is ideal for long study sessions, first dates, or avid coffee lovers!“
“This place is fantastic. This was our first visit. The customer ahead of us was giddy to recommend their house made vanilla syrup for our coffee drink and the “wicked awesome” sandwich. We aren’t vegetarians but he was so insistent that we changed our order to a vanilla latte ( which was divine) and the recommended sandwich. Service was efficient and friendly. The sandwich was a generous serving with a lot of flavor. It managed to avoid being dry without being greasy. 10/10 would do again.Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from for the veggie friendly crowd.“
“I drink a lot of coffee and eat a lot of pastries around portland, and nothing comes close to Bison Coffeehouse.Delicious, sweet but not sickening coffee, plus a lightly spicy and savory biscuit, theres nothing else i crave as much at 10 am as Bison's ?Highly recommend to anyone doing the coffee rounds in PDX! You will NOT be disappointed.“
“Hands down best cappuccino foam in town. Possibly even the state. Maybe the world? idk I haven’t been to every coffee shop but I figure why bother at this point. Amazing drinks, pastries, prices, and, most importantly, incredible mother daughter duo making the world a better place one drink at a time.“
“We ordered the coffee and breakfast sandwich combos and a biscotti. The biscotti was really good and the coffee and matcha was delicious too! The breakfast sandwiches were expensive for what they were ($8) and maybe a little bit too salty. Could have benefitted from salsa or hot sauce too.“
“This was an amazing find in a city filled with coffee shops. There was nothing stuffy about the place and the service was impeccable. We sat in the window and watched locals stroll in greeted by first name... and we were treated just like we were daily customers as well. If you’re in Portland and you’re near 40 LBS make it a stop!“
“Nice, chill coffee shop. They have a small drink menu and pastry options. The coffee has solid flavor & barista did a good job. Some indoor seating. I esp like their attached & covered outdoor seating setup. A great spot to sit and enjoy a drink semi-insight with the pup.“
“Fun way to spend time with family or friends or both. Beautiful tea room with amazing vegetarian and vegan food options along with great teas to try.Ventured out today for a morning tea and totally enjoyed our brunch. Fantastic service and the teas are wonderful. The mini sandwiches are a nice treat and the pastries and scones are so tasty and fresh.Had a wonderful time today, we will return.“
“The oasis in the middle of a vegan food desert!! I’m so so grateful for this cafe after having moved to East Portland and feeling away from all things delicious. The breakfast sandwiches are my favorite, the coffee is fantastic (especially the mochas), and the pastries are all spot on. The atmosphere is lovely as well with lots of space, natural light, and plants. I will continue supporting this cafe because I hope they never leave!!“
“Jenni's warmth is palpable and very authentic. She owns this warm and homely space where she is glad to share her moving story. I enjoyed delicious pastries with my friend as we enjoyed the cozy vibes. Please patronise Jenni's Sacred Grounds. I'm sure you'll love it, and love her. Bless her heart. Thank you for sharing your story, Jenni.“
“Haley was an absolute pleasure to order from. Great customer service and made us feel not only welcome but carried on a great conversation during the process. Outstanding drinks we received and service. Nice lil set up and we enjoyed the covered deck while waiting and conversing. Highly recommend Slowbomb Coffee!“
“Great experience! So nice! The homemade seed and oat bread on this avocado toast is slammin! Will bring my partner here! Full send.Vegetarian options: Homemade, even raw vegetables for most of my meal. Plant-based, healthy, filling, and plenty of different options!“
“What an absolute gem! I love everything about Turkey Place ? I stopped in for a coffee, breakfast burrito, and to return a bunch of emails. I left feeling so content that I took a lovely walk around downtown afterwards. The staff are so stunningly fantastic and sweet, the breakfast burrito was yummy all the way through, the coffee was hot and tasty, the shop is so perfectly laid out and clean, and watching the staff interact with regulars was a beautiful experience that I'll treasure forever. Do yourself a favor, visit this wonderful establishment, and you'll walkout feeling so refreshed, happy, and full! Grabbing a few more things to share with my hubby tonight was the icing on top ?“
“A beautifully clean, airy, and comfortable industrial space. It's modern and cozy-a great place to sit and read solo, or come chat with a friend. Service is friendly and everything feels curated with great attention to detail. Pour over menu is extensive. I had coffee (they have fun fusion lattes to explore), and will want to come back to make my way through their equally extensive tea menu. Food is limited to a few mochi sweet pastries-I wouldn't have minded a bit more selection. The stoneware elevates the drinking experience. I recommend getting your drinks "for here"; sit, and enjoy for a moment.“
“BREWED LIFE has been my daily coffee / Espresso supplier for years and I'm so grateful to the AMAZING main HBIC Randa ❤️ She always has a genuine smile for me and every single day makes sure my drink is the way I like; integrity matters. small business mean a lot to the community and this one has my heart. The coffee beans are the BEST! I grab a bag to take home each week and for gift giving!“
“The cutest subway station turned into a coffee spot! My friends and I ordered chai tea, spanish and tiramisu latte. The service took 30 minutes and the line wasn’t that long, but the lattes were absolutely worth it. Chai had the perfect amount of spice.“
