“Mudd coffee is roasted locally by Marco (1/2 Pint Cafe), and Local Coffee makes a jazzy Nutella mocha that is soo sweet! Love it! The Mexican mocha is also delicious! Remember to use your Fred Meyer gas receipt for $1 off. --- frugal kugal“

“A funny near not funny thing happened in Starbucks parking lot at this location. I parked my car in the lot across and over a bit from Starbucks. My husband and I got out of the car and started walking towards the door and after a few steps we both took a bit of a dive downwards as the slope was steep and was not obvious. It would have been bad if we didn’t catch ourselves because we could have done a face plant right into the asphalt! OUCH! But maybe someone else might not have been so lucky and might have completed a face plant. Why they didn’t even out the grading is a mystery to me! It’s an accident waiting to happen. BTW, our drinks were fine.“

“Wonderful coffee in a peaceful, simple ambiance. They are confident in the boldness of their roasting profiles and geographies, including beans sourced from various parts of Asia. I was treated with warmth and care - this was a very memorable experience and I will absolutely return each time I visit Portland.“

“I was driving from Seattle to San Francisco and could only choose one of Portland’s amazing coffee shops to try, and I’m so lucky I chose PDX.
Firstly, Sid is an outstanding guy. He spent time explaining all the different beans, I tried a sip of their drip coffee, then got both of the espressos they had to try. I find that a pure espresso shot that tastes good, not burnt or over extracted is extremely rare in North America. At other places, time and time again I’ve gotten it and been disappointed.
But at PDX, the coffee is simply outstanding. The espresso was pulled perfectly by Sid and the beans are top tier. You can taste all the flavor notes while chilling in their calm and fun atmosphere.
Whether you live in the beautiful city of Portland or you’re just passing through, if you can only have coffee at one place, make it PDX. It’s the spot for coffee purists.“

“Sterling coffee roasters is the quintessential Portland coffee experience. They've been around for years and yet it always seems like there's something new and fresh happening. The baristas are always on point. The coffee is always first rate whether it's an espresso drink or their drip coffee (free refill!). Grab a bag of beans to go; they're always perfectly roasted.“

“We had questions about a few of their many exciting coffee drink offerings, and the owner/server kindly suggested one he thought we’d like. His recommendation (a toasted sesame option) was spot on! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the coffee is outstanding. Their room is spacious and quiet—even during a well-attended arts festival nearby. I’m so happy we discovered this place!“
“The high quality speciality coffee, and drinks really stand out on their own. But the lively atmosphere here, the modern aesthetics matched with friendly staff makes for a really memorable experience. It’s hard to stand out as a coffee shop these days, but I think this place does. I had no expectations at first but it’s in walking distance from my place and so I’m surprised it’s such a winner. They have these perfume like bottles where you can smell sample the coffee you want before you order it. I thought that was brilliant and fun!“
“LOVE the staff and great drinks!“

“They were informative and helpful when it came to picking my machine and grinder, but more than that, their service after the sale is second to none! Highly recommend their services! 10/10“

“This is the best coffee shop I have found in the Woodstock Area!! The scones are amazing. I love the coffee. They serve on cute china. They don't have a tip section when paying with a card. The staff person assured me that they really have a living wage and health insurance. They do have a tip jar that some customers insist on. I don't usually carry cash.“

“My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch. You have to be “buzzed” in since there are some shady characters in the area. We ordered the BLTA and Pearl sandwich (I think that was the name, it has apple, marmalade, sourdough and turkey). Both were very delicious! They came with chips and a pickle on the side. The sourdough is very good toasted and the flavors are awesome together. I did feel bad for the barista/cook since she was the only person making all the drinks, taking orders at the counter and cooking.“

“Bastion Coffee (down the street) sent me here for a darker roast option since they don’t offer one. The Albina barista gave me the perfect guidance and I got exactly what I was looking for in the 8 ounce latte. Nice strong coffee presence, not drowning in dairy. Add the super oatie banana muffin and I couldn’t be happier! Not too sweet, just all around deliciousness.“

“As a coffee-shop goer for working remotely in different spaces, I've been here a few times to get some work done and can't recommend enough! The vibes and people are always amazing, the music is great (not too loud and good taste in tunes). Big fan of the vegan waffle sandwich - and their drinks have never missed for me. You can taste how well made everything is!“

“If you live or work in Oldtown Chinatown and you’ve been sleeping on Monte Rossa, it’s time to get your butt down here. Incredible cappuccinos, extremely fair pricing, and Rob treats the community with an epic amount of kindness. My favorite is stopping by the shop on a rainy cold day in winter and leaving with a smile and a strong cup of coffee. ☕“

“One of my favorite coffee shops in Portland. Baristas are always kind, and I enjoy the atmosphere especially on quiet mornings. Hands down the best mocha in the city, and they have some of the best latte art I've seen as well. Very creative individuals working on bar. Definitely worth checking out!“

“My GOSHHH!!! So good!
I had an egg dish with injera for brunch and it was perfect. Spicy, nicely seasoned made with fresh ingredients. Incredible!
And the avocado smoothie was really good with all natural ingredients. No ice, no powder. Just avocados and a really nice red syrup that’s not too sweet. FYI, it’s not a normal American smoothie. It’s not cold with lots of ice.“

“There are a lot of hard working people keeping this a safe place to engage with others. Expect tea, coffee, drafts, and good company. 👍👍👍

“Met up with a friend at Wallflower Coffee on SE Division. The space is bright, colorful, and full of plants, which made it a fun place to hang out and catch up. There are plenty of seating options, so we had no trouble finding a spot.
The coffee was good, the staff were friendly, and there was easy street parking nearby.
Overall, just a great neighborhood coffee shop with a welcoming vibe. Enjoy!“

“Safe and comfortable place to relax and work, when you need a place in a pinch to get some things done or just a place to unwind... nice find! Great staff... ALL VOLUNTEERS! Many businesses need to have their staff experience being served here, these people are volunteers and are respectful, cheerful, and nice; yet most paid servers here in Portland are not so respectful, cheerful, or nice, and are usually loudly complaining about their jobs. EASTSIDE COFFEE IS AWESOME!“

“Randomly found this place and decided to stop in. They have recently moved and while looking confused was redirected to their new location less than a block down the road. What makes this place unique is that they have beer and wine available for sale too. There is also an outdoor patio and it looks like they may have music in the evenings. The barista was super friendly and while enjoying my horchata hot brew noticed numerous regulars and such a friendly vibe by all employees. Honestly the friendly and sincere service really makes this coffee shop stand out. Wouldn’t hesitate to stop in again soon.“

“Had two really nice wines here perfect for summer: a sparkling rose brut and a nice chilled red wine. The team running Yours Truly is amazing. I was helped by two different people and they did a wonderful job describing the different wines and tasting notes. Theyd hear my preferences and make a great rec. Loved both glasses I had here. Theres outdoor and indoor seating. Very cute aesthetic. Did not try the food but ill be back again to try more food and some snacks next time.“

“I love this place! I could get a cup of coffee anywhere but this shop has become more than just great food and drinks - it’s a place for neighbors to gather and the owners have fully invested themselves in our community. Love the breakfast sandwiches, my daily coffee and Friday evenings on their back lawn with a beer and friends!“
