“My friend & I are avid tea enthusiasts and have been meaning to try this tea emporium for awhile. While on the spendy side ($60 pp) it absolutely met our expectations with the uniqueness of the environment and quality of tea for a high tea reservation. The snacks were plentiful, some better flavor than others. Knowledgeable staff and comfortable seating. When you reserve on line, it charges you at the time, so bring cash if you plan to tip. One of the two bathrooms has very cool decor, as well.“

Their vanilla latte is spectacular, and the staff are friendly. When I was at the end of my most recent pregnancy, I stopped in and the owner was very kind and compassionate. I felt very seen after that conversation about my pregnancy and the health system. “Great vibes and great coffee. Espresso is Caravan roasters which you can’t go wrong with. I really enjoyed the house made horchata and the Peruvian mocha is great too. Open concept for seating so there is plenty of places to chill and drink the coffee. I have 2 toddlers so it was great for them. I learned at the end that their smoothies are also made with real fruit so I will check that out for my kids next time.

“I love the variety of flavors they have. My mom and I have gone multiple times (sometimes in the same week! ) and had a chance to talk to the owners and a couple of the baristas, all of which were very friendly and love to offer suggestions of flavor combos (that is, if you can't pick from the fun flavors they come up with every month). I also love that they offer a dark and light roast coffee and you can still actually taste the coffee, not just the sweetness from the syrup in the fancy drinks. They have a good balance.“

“We stopped in around 4pm on a Sunday and it was pretty empty. We ordered at the counter, 4 tacos and two sodas for $37.50. A little steep for tacos - asada, shrimp, ribeye and fish. The tacos come out in taco holders and are pretty good sized, with a fair amount of meat. The flour tortillas are fresh with a really nice chew. Each plate had one type of salsa, I had green but preferred the red on my partner’s plate. The fish taco was nicely fried with a thin, crisp batter. The ribeye had lots of flavor and was good with the red salsa. Service was somewhat non-existent as we ordered at the counter and then they brought the food out. There were a couple parties that came in confused with the process, waiting for someone to approach them at the patio tables. Overall good tacos, on the expensive side but pretty filling.“

I tried the spartak chocolate cake, made with dark cocoa layers and cream cheese frosting, and loved that it wasn’t overly sweet. You can tell how passionate Alla is about baking, and she’s just as lovely and welcoming as her desserts. 🥹 It’s always special to discover a local spot where so much care goes into what they do. “Just had one of the best customer service experiences of my adult life. Chuck & Dustin were my checkers. I was the space cadet customer who used the wrong club card # after spending a bunch of time adding all the relevant deals. I asked if they could reenter my number and was told they'd have to start over. I was super hesitant to be a jerk, especially given all the extra work our grocery people have to do right now. They said it was totally up to me, they had the time, and they were willing. It saved me $30 extra dollars, so I was super appreciative. They unloaded and rescanned everything and put it back, then offered to help me out and load my car. They never made me feel bad and were kind and friendly the whole time. It was a great example of kindness and humanity in these crazy times. They deserve a bonus!“
