“Favorite boba place. Moved here from Socal 8 years ago. I like their strawberry orange tea no sugar and aloe. I especially like this place because it's kid friendly. Alot of options without teas and even with no sugar, it taste great my for young boys. My son says it's his favorite out of all the ones we tried too!“
“I loved the coffee, I love the atmosphere, my breakfast although wasn’t that great, eggs were good just the way I ordered, but the hashbrowns were really burnt and I had asked for crispy bacon and it was extra extra soggy the sourdough bread was OK, I’m going to give it another try and I suppose if I don’t eat breakfast there I’ll at least drink the great coffee!“
“Their specials are unique and the flavors on their dishes were phenomenal! We tried one of the breakfast burritos and the lobster scramble special. On top of that, the women working there are super friendly and make an effort to get to know each customer. 10/10 would return in a heartbeat!!“
“This place is absolutely amazing. The prices are amazing, the pastries; both sweet and savory, are delightful! This has quickly become a new weekend favorite for my boyfriend and I, and I’m always surprised it’s not so so busy, because it’s seriously a gem. I give the service 3 stars because it seems like the coffee part could use better organization in terms of calling out drinks, but it is truly a great spot, and their cold brew is delicious!“
“It is good coffee comparable in quality and price to Other name brand retailers. It just has the added window dressing of attractive and sensually dressed ladies serving and making the drinks. If you want a nice drink and to check out some ladies with good attitudes and nice "assets" then give them a “
“Fantastic coffee, great CS. I stopped in yesterday for a shot of a Guatemalan Gesha, yes you read that right. They were serving shots of an absolute bomb of a Guatemalan Gesha! I dabble in roasting my own beans at home and Tim was not only excited to talk about it with me and give me some advice. But was also willing to share information and offered to help any way he could. Great people serving/roasting fantastic coffee. What more could you want?“
“My daughter and I love having coffee dates here! The baristas are so amazing along with all of their drinks and foods! Shout out to Gabby for always being so kind and patient when we’re trying to pick through the many amazing options while we’re there! She’s so nice!Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves stopping in and their selection of cake pops!!“
“Cozy and fun atmosphere. Friendly staff! Excellent coffee! And it's locally owned! Lots of both small and large tables that are ideal for sitting alone, chatting with a friend or meeting with a larger group. They also sell whole bean coffee for use at home.“
“Well this is awkward. My doctor's office is over by this location of Insomnia. I'd pretty much written off buying their drinks because they weren't even tasting like what I recalled. But I stopped here, went through the drive thru, and ordered my favorite Insomnia beverage. Black Forest Mocha with 6 shots, Oatmilk and no whip. Well first off, the staff (both times I visited last week,) was kind and very friendly. I also didn't wait long at all for my coffee. But WEIRD my coffee was $2 less here than at the Murray Hill location. Guess I just have to drive a bit farther for good service and coffee because they're a 5/5 and the other location right by my house is a 2/5.“
“The people here are awesome! They know how to have fun and make really good drinks. Hit them up for a good time and better service. (They're really fun!)Dietary restrictions: They really care if you like your drinks and make sure your can actually drink themKid-friendliness: The people are fun and entertainingWheelchair accessibility: They have a walk-up window and will send a barista out to meet you if you need assistance“

“Black Rock Coffee Bar is a great place to get your morning coffee. The employees working there are super friendly. This place is mostly used as a drive through. When there's a long line, they have someone with the iPad go around and take everyone's order.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: They have different types of milks.Parking: It's literally located in a parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Somewhat kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, it's a drive-through.“
“Hidden gem of a donut place. Do get the Portland cream, my wife’s favorite. Plenty of selection, prompt service, they’ve plenty of stock (most non-franchise donut places will run out of the good ones quickly), prices are reasonable, and we are always able to get delivery. Highly recommend!“
“Okay, hear me out. Don't sleep on Peet's. Feeling that desperate need for a vegan treat or vegan breakfast sandwich at five in the ridiculous o'clock of the morning? Peet's is here for you. Great staff and the options for the high maintenance eaters amongst us, a hidden gift on a tired Monday morning. Be sure to ask as some of the options are unlabeled and you'll miss out on things like the warm hug of a brownie.“
“This Starbucks is located inside the Safeway. In front of the flower section, right by the deli. They have plenty of delicious drinks to order and a couple of snacks and treats.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options.Parking: There's a big parking lot right outside the store.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of drinks and snacks for kids to enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking and automatic doors.“
“Most of the time the drinks are good exactly what you expect, but sometimes the baristas are chatting or not so focused and the drinks are not mixed well or they forget a no foam on latte or a Carmel on the bottom request w/ the extra just heavy on top. They are fast and it is convenient. I noticed recently the payment process offers the option of a tip with card pmt. I will just check my drinks better b4 I drive away. =]“
“it's my morning crack. and tracey is my morning dealer. I don't think I could survive a day without my two shots in a hydro flask of their coffee, brewed nice n weak. nonono, don't scoff! it's PERFECT! the acidity is so low that the roasty char of espresso stands out beautifully. really, what i'm having is more of a dirty Americano. right? cos an Americano is espresso and water. and i'm having espresso and weak coffee; thus, i'm having a dirty Americano. with a boat load of cream. and when you pair that with the friendly, open-topic, go-with-the-flow conversation tracey always provides, mornings are suddenly, almost bearable.“
“I've been both coming in here and going through the drive-through here with my family for years, but it never occurred to write a review because you're not supposed to do that for chains, right? That ridiculous stance of mine ends today. The staff here is always pleasant without being saccharine-sweet or overly effusive about it. Certain coffee chains here give you the impression that the cart is supposed to be wall-to-wall dance pop at all hours and that the staff is supposed to be OB-sessed with whatever you're doing at the moment. The Human Bean keeps it genuine and as pleasant as they can. They're on 10th and Oak FFS: They're trying. As for the coffee, I wish I could say I admire the roast and take it strictly in doppios or cortados. But that's not what I'm here for: I'm in it for what are basically caffeinated candy bars served with chocolate-coated coffee beans on top. They're marvelous, and they meet me in whatever season I'm at.I moved here from Dunkin' Donuts country and didn't think suburban coffee could get much tougher than that. When I moved out here and found out that coffee in Hillsboro was a spectrum that included an anti-vax coffee roaster in an industrial complex and a sexually abusive "bikini coffee" [eww] stand owner, I wanted to show a little more appreciation to the places that were getting it right. This Human Bean location has been just what I've needed more times than I should likely admit. Not every coffee shop in Hillsboro is worth your time--and many should be avoided strictly for one's personal health and safety--but this one warrants a stop.“
“Excellent young staff, very pleasant and friendly.Been coming here for years, several times per week. Prices a little high but quality is commensurate. Wall plugs at all seating in the main area. Generally not too busy except lunches and dinner but usually quiet with a wide variety of background music. Trimet bus 47 and MAX blue and red(soon) just across street.“
“Best Caramel Latte I've ever had!Great bagels & sandwiches.DO NOT get the basic drip coffee.Others complain about the wait times, but they made my drink in 2 minutes and my sandwich a minute later. And while the atmosphere is cool and chic, it's a little overwhelming. It's usually packed and feels cramped.Overall, I'd recommend trying this coffee shop.“
“Adorable, small gift shop in downtown Hillsboro. I was shopping nearby today in search of some artisan chocolates and another merchant directed me to The Artful Garden. Cute place packed full of unique gifts...great Christmas gift potential: ornaments, jewelry, sweets, art. As for the chocolates, they've got a decent sized selection displayed near the back of the store. I needed 8 boxes for gifts, and not being a big lover of chocolates myself, I let the very sweet and helpful employee make the selections for me. They have a variety of box sizes based off of weight, and pretty good pricing in my opinion. Sweet place with great customer service! :)“
“I got the Hokkaido pearl milk tea and taro pearl milk tea. Both were nice. I loved the boba at this place …it was of right size and nice and chewy. I tried Hokkaido pearl milk tea for the first time. The flavour is unique and the sweetness was perfect at this place. Taro pearl boba tea was also milk and perfectly made. definitely worth trying boba here if you are around Hillsboro.“
“Stopped for a quick bite to eat for breakfast. Had the bacon, egg and gruyere biscuit. It was delish. It was nice and hot and with my almond milk hot chocolate I was completely satisfied. My only but pick is even though I asked for extra hot for my hot chocolate it was only semi hot.“
“My partner has a Brazilian background and is also fairly picky... but he was raving over the cake he got here. Something with pineapple? He said it wasn't overly sweet and was made with real whipped cream. He also picked up a Brazilian soda that he hadn't had in 20 years! We'll be back. Thank you for putting a smile on his face!Vegetarian options: Desserts and drinks“
