So I went inside and expained my issue and the manager on duty, Violetta, made it right. Further, she gave me some pointers and said if I'm ever not sure what to do just come on in and they'll help me to use the app. And it's precisely that kind of friendly, personal service which will keep me coming back.“

This was our first time visiting our local MOD Pizza here in Hillsboro, and wow—what an experience!
From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a good time. Christopher greeted us at the door rocking a cowboy hat, and that instantly set the tone for a fun and welcoming visit. As we went through the ordering process, he kept the energy going—he was hilarious, easy to banter with, and made the whole experience genuinely enjoyable.
It wasn’t just about ordering pizza—it felt like a real human connection, which you don’t always get these days. Christopher truly made our visit memorable, and you can tell he loves what he does.
And of course, the pizza was amazing too!
We’re so excited to have found our new MOD “family” here in Hillsboro. Thank you for such a fantastic experience—we’ll definitely be back soon!

“Feel like food quality has gone down and sometimes reminds me of mcdonalds quality but there customer service always excels. They are quick to fix an issue while still being kind about it. Mcdonalds could never! There chicken nuggets are favored in my household also. However, i wish the kids meals had more nuggets. There's only 5.. and its just not enough for my kids anymore.“

Some of the reviews for Jollibee had me confused. Complaints about dark meat? Not enough flavor? Are we eating the same chicken? 😂

First of all, dark meat is delicious. It's juicy, flavorful, and holds up beautifully to frying. Second, not every dish needs to be aggressively salted to have flavor. And the chicken comes with gravy! Dip it. Use your god-given seasoning abilities.

Jollibee is a Filipino fast-food chain, not another generic American chicken joint. If you're walking in expecting the same menu and flavor profiles as every other fast-food place, you might be missing the point.

The chicken is consistently crispy and juicy, and the spicy chicken actually has a decent kick. My husband husband gets the spicy, and it's got more heat than I'd expect from a fast-food chain. The staff are generally nice and friendly, even if they sometimes look as tired as the rest of us feel by the end of a shift. The restaurant is usually clean, and they seem pretty quick about cleaning up. My only real gripe on that front is having to navigate tables other customers left greasy.

I do wish there were a few healthier options, like a salad, and I'm genuinely disappointed that they don't serve palabok here. It's one of my favorites! But this is a Filipino fried chicken place, so I'm not going to pretend the menu should revolve around my every preference.

I'd also love to see more of the local community give Jollibee a fair shot. We're in a predominantly white area, and I wonder how many people dismiss it because it's unfamiliar. You don't have to love everything you try, but at least give it a chance before deciding it's bad.

And for what it's worth, I appreciate supporting a business that isn't backing the anti-LGBTQ+ political agenda associated with the chicken chain down the road.

Overall, I enjoy coming here. The chicken delivers, the staff are generally friendly, and there's something special about having a Filipino fast-food favorite nearby. I just wish more people would come in with curiosity instead of comparing it to what they already know.

“I have been coming to Baja Fresh since I was a kid and finally returned after years! Always fresh, quick and generous with portions. The guacamole and salsa were plentiful and chips were offered complimentary while we were waiting for our orders. I love how they have diversified their menu with options for alternative meats and fish. Definitely will be visiting more frequently!“

“We got a craving for a good old-fashioned A&W Root Beer Float, and this location was closest to us! Things have changed in this world, and few childhood memories still exist. This is one memory that is still around. I have wonderful memories of taking our glass A&W gallon jug in for a refill and making rootbeer floats at home when I was a young girl.
On this trip, we decided to have burgers with our floats, and unfortunately, we found that the family of burgers has exited the building. Papa is still around with the original sauce. The bacon burger is still around but is no longer the Teenburger. The fries with the delicious seasoning are still happening, and all together, we were not disappointed! We went through the drive through and did have to pull around front and wait for a minute for our order, but we had Root Beer Floats to keep us doing the car happy dance until our food showed up!
I would definitely come back and for sure recommend this location.“

“This has become my go-to Taco Bell literally. I've gone here four times in the past 4 weeks every single weekend because this is the only Taco Bell around me that still has the build your own box deals for six bucks. Well they used to be five but now they're six and I hope they stayed that price or go back down and they don't go up. Every other Taco Bell in the area still has the box deals, but the cheapest they offer now is for $7 and it includes less food. This specific deal still gives you three items and a drink for six bucks. It's literally a crazy good deal and it's enough to feed one and a half people's which works out perfectly for me because between 4 people in my family three boxes is always enough and we have leftovers even afterwards. I really appreciate this location as even if there's a long line I've never had to wait more than 10 to 15 minutes in the drive-thru line. Most of the time I'm able to just come up and within 2 or 3 minutes. My order is ready to go probably because I've lived 10 minutes away and I passed two other Taco bells just to get here because the other Taco bells on TV highway and in other locations in Beaverton do not have the same deal. If you are the owner of this Taco Bell, please keep this deal going. It's making you money consistently from at least me and I'm sure other people in the community as well. I can't speak to the atmosphere inside but there is plenty of parking here. Probably two dozen if not more spots and it's located right next to a Dollar tree as well as stuff Fred Meyers. So there's plenty of other locations. No shopping around you plus it's right across the street from movies on TV theater and since they're open late even if you get to a late night movie or before going to the theater you can always fill up with with food from here as well. I hope the deals stay the same and as long as they do I'll keep coming“

“Very good pizza, got the new promo epic pepperoni, app doesn't work, won't let you pay or checkout, followed all troubleshooting steps and tried multiple times, forum posts dated back 3 years complained about the app not working, called in and made the order by phone, some confusion on what extra pepperoni means, yes I want it on the pizza lol. Walked in and waited 5 minutes before a person on the register showed up but super good service once they were there. Pizza was delicious.“
