My husband and I dropped in for our anniversary and we didn’t have a reservation but they were able to seat us so quickly even with the rush they had. The food was incredible! “From Silverton, Oregon and I went hunting in eastern Oregon and I harvested an amazing black bear I looked around for a butcher and nobody was taking any wild game. I called the meeting place and they said they were in drop offs were from from 10 AM to 2 o’clock p.m. I was instantly met with an amazing staff that was knowledgeable, kind and very friendly. I ended up meeting a manager that ran their wild game department, which I have to say that woman is just absolutely amazing with information. Very knowledgeable answered every question I had honestly I was a little hesitant about going all the way to Portland area for a butcher, but I have to say there is no finer butcher team in Oregon that I honestly can say I would rather use other than the meeting place I will continue to use them for all of my game processing absolutely amazing team great greetings just an absolute nice people to deal with most booster shops are very blunt. Some can say not very friendly straight to the point and bye-bye not this place this place is energetic very friendly, respectful kind very knowledgeable. You will not find a better butcher shop in Oregon from what I have seen and I have seen just about every butcher shop we have in Oregon. These guys are top notch if you’ve never left a butcher shop completely smiling and having a great experience you should take the drive to Hillsborough and try these guys. Absolutely amazing. Cannot say enough about these people.“

Update. We've been here twice more since our first review. Although the flavor is fine, there have been issues with the food both times This last time , the chicken that we had was tender and juicy on one half and nothing but deep fried. skin on the other.“

“We went for the Wassail Cider Fest for the first time and it was energetic! The band performance was something I'd never seen before and hosting it in their barn really added to the experience. They had a great cider selection from a very wide variety of vendors. It was very crowded and difficult to move around at times due to the high volume of traffic. The parking lot was full so we parked nearby at the Fred Meyer and walked which was to be expected. We got food from their restaurant after and besides a slightly burnt pattie on one of our burgers, they do a good job. And service is always great. Overall we had a great time! Spending per person includes our event tickets which was $48 per person.“

It came identical to the last. They knew what they were doing and it was delicious. Authentic to its core.“

“Went here for a classic roll. Requested a spicy tuna but im not sure if i just got a regular tuna roll. Not spicy. I ended up using my wasabi for heat and ran out near the end. Not a lot of wasabi to start with.

The roll was fine. Not outstanding but it was decent. If I'm back again I'll try something different.

Parking was pretty full but I found a spot to pull into. I was seated immediately as well during the lunch hour.“

“Amazing First Experience at MOD Pizza – Hillsboro!
This was our first time visiting our local MOD Pizza here in Hillsboro, and wow—what an experience!
From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a good time. Christopher greeted us at the door rocking a cowboy hat, and that instantly set the tone for a fun and welcoming visit. As we went through the ordering process, he kept the energy going—he was hilarious, easy to banter with, and made the whole experience genuinely enjoyable.
It wasn’t just about ordering pizza—it felt like a real human connection, which you don’t always get these days. Christopher truly made our visit memorable, and you can tell he loves what he does.
And of course, the pizza was amazing too!
We’re so excited to have found our new MOD “family” here in Hillsboro. Thank you for such a fantastic experience—we’ll definitely be back soon!

“We decided to swing by Baja Fresh just before 9 p.m., relying on Google's listing that stated they were open until 10 on Saturdays. However, it turned out that Google had the wrong information about their operating hours. Despite this setback, the staff at Baja Fresh were incredibly understanding and patient with us. They took our orders efficiently, and we ended up enjoying our meal at home.“

The last two times I’ve been here, it took between 40 and 90 minutes to get my food after ordering it. The ambience, atmosphere, and nature help distract you from the wait, and that’s why you’re going to McMenamins in the first place, isn’t it?“

Running a skeleton crew, not too long of a wait but it was clearly just two people.

Kpop playing at high volume the whole time. Couldn't hear anyone over that and the vent hood. I basically ate alone surrounded by people I couldn't hear.

No air conditioning so only go if you love eating in an oven.
