One of my very favorite locations for several personal reasons but this two story gem located in the heart of rolling hills and dotted forests just off of Hwy 26 will captivate you. They weekly offer live music for free, an upstairs pool table and shuffleboard and dining on a balcony, full bar, indoor rock fireplace and cozy corner window seating, out door dining patio with wood burning fire pits and string lights. “This is a great place for dining. Menu is not tens of pages long but it has all the essentials as far as fish and meat options go. I also like the great list of beers, wines and cocktails. Service was great and the staff was attentive and friendly. This is one of my favorite places for eating out. Highly recommended!

Revisited with a few guests. Service was great as usual. Salmon and steelhead entrees were really delicious. Brownies, creme brulee and the cheesecake were also amazing. Portions of the desserts are much bigger compared to the entrees. So order with caution ! Spent about $45 per person, which is not too bad given the overall quality.

Revisited today. What I really like about this place is it is one of the very few restaurants that serve great food as late as 22:50. I am a night owl and I often end up looking for dinner past 22:00. Copper River is perfect for me!

Brought friends from Atlanta and they sampled the dessert menu. Got thumbs up all round. The banana split was amazing. Creme Brulee was also top notch! CR did not disappoint as usual. Service was good too though it was a busy Friday night.

I brought my team of 20+ in from work to enjoy the items on the menu for lunch. Everyone was happy as expected.

Great service as usual. Ribeye steak needs to be thicker and cooked less. Desserts were excellent. Had to wait to be seated though I had a reservation and arrived on time. Very crowded on Friday evenings. Parking was challenging.

13 July 2025 - Revisited for dinner. Waited for 15 minutes to be seated. Salmon with orzo rice was good. Mashed potatoes that came with the ribeye was too salty. Honestly, less salt will definitely bring the flavors out more. My classic dessert choice creme brulee did not disappoint. I loved the local Pino Griogio fwom Washington. Very easy to drink a bit in the sweet side like riesling. Service was also great. I am starting to believe Copper River serves the best calamari in all of Portland. It is hard to match, really!

Tried the pot pie today for the first time. I was pretty tasty. Service was great as usual.

Revisited on 21 Sep 2026 - For a change, I sat at the bar with a friend and had a few beers. Service was great as always. They kindly let us stay a bit longer after official closing time. This restaurant never disappoints and is still my favorite place to eat out.“

“Our favorite hole in the wall brewery close to home! We have met many friends here over the past five years and it's usually our first choice to go in wanting to grab a quick beer or three. Great selection of food carts on a regular basis and they have something going on almost on a daily basis.

My friend had the surf and turf salad. She said it was good, but weird it came all separate and she had to assemble it. I guess that happens because it's a customizable thing. Her son had alfredo and mine had marinara with chicken. Both were devoured. I enjoy the spicy bolognese with mushrooms!

The only thing we all agreed on was the Italian sodas were terrible. So much so they went in the trash!

The portions were generous, and every bite was full of flavor. We ordered the General Tso’s chicken ($11.95) and Kung Pao chicken ($12.95), and both were outstanding. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you receive.

“We went for the Wassail Cider Fest for the first time and it was energetic! The band performance was something I'd never seen before and hosting it in their barn really added to the experience. They had a great cider selection from a very wide variety of vendors. It was very crowded and difficult to move around at times due to the high volume of traffic. The parking lot was full so we parked nearby at the Fred Meyer and walked which was to be expected. We got food from their restaurant after and besides a slightly burnt pattie on one of our burgers, they do a good job. And service is always great. Overall we had a great time! Spending per person includes our event tickets which was $48 per person.“

I was visiting a friend in Portland and we happened to drive by a sign saying the vineyard was a few miles away, so we stopped by and had a tasting flight. If you like Japanese curry they have a great chicken or pork with curry entree as well. Really good stuff.

Really good vegetable tempura and miso soup.

Only thing that isnt perfect is the outdoor seating. Half of it is right up against curb parking spots where you might have car exhausts dumping right onto you and your food. Sit inside if you can.“
