“Decided to stop at this winery to do a tasting happy they are dog friendly and we were able to take both the pups inside. Grounds are lovely and flowers were beautiful. Wine flight was delicious 😋 and happily purchased some to take home. The server was very pleasant and helpful with describing various wines and areas grapes 🍇 were grown.“

“The facility and vineyards were beautiful. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. He told us about the history of the vineyard and all the nuances that go with growing wine in this region. I guess we are middle of the road wine drinkers and this winery is not the middle of the road winery. High cost, in our opinion, for tasting ($50 per person) and higher cost for their bottles of wine ($40 - $130 per bottle). Most were on the higher end. We lived the vineyard, we loved our host, it was just at a much higher cost for these middle of the road wine drinkers.“

“What a stunning location! Although we experienced a delay with our food due to a WiFi glitch that prevented orders from reaching the kitchen, the staff handled it with impressive care and urgency. They quickly sorted everything out, allowed guests to switch to lunch options, and generously comped all our meals—plus treated us to delicious lemon pies. Best of all, when the food arrived, it was absolutely incredible. Everyone in our group was raving about their dishes. “My wife an I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary with Rosmarino after a chance encounter with a lovely couple in Burlington on the streets of Tanasborne in Hillsboro.

They recommended Rosmarino to us for our anniversary and said their Lasagna was the best this side of the Atlantic. Their authentic Italian culinary artistry came highly praised by the couple and we decided to take a trip to Newberg to see if it really was that good.

My wife lived in Aviano, Italy for a time and grew up in Europe so she had a solid baseline. I've been a pasta goblin my whole life, never meeting a lasagna I couldn't devour. So the gauntlet was tossed and we accepted the challenge.

The Bread was to die for, the lasagna melted in my mouth with an explosion of flavor and texture. It actually is the best lasagna I've had in the USA. So that proved positive. My wife ordered the Pomodoro & Basilico and was equally amazed by it.

The do have homemade Gluten Free pasta as well and all pasta and sauces are hand crafted daily using Italian sourced ingredients.

I can most certainly recommend Rosmarino Osteria Italiana and look forward to my next visit. Thank you for the wonderful meal.“

What a gorgeous vineyard, where you can sit outside, with bottles of wine with your own picnic basket watching the gorgeous sunset!
I could not take my eyes off the stunning view. Sunset was just stunning. They have a great selection of wines. We opted for bottle services, Pinot Rośe being one of the selections and it paired very well with the stunning view. We bought few bottles to bring home.
You can see some wild life while watching the sunset and they are harmless. Staff here are awesome and extremely friendly. So glad we found this vineyard and it was worth the 45min drive from Portland.“

Joseph was amazing very uplifting and vibrant personality took me through a flight of wines. I amc not a fan of SB but its every where in Australia and New Zealand. “My mom came from out of town to celebrate her birthday, and we decided to visit Durant Vineyards at Red Ridge Farms as walk-ins. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and genuinely treated with kindness and respect. It was such a refreshing experience!

The wine was absolutely delicious, and the food options were amazing. There was so much to enjoy beyond just the tasting room, including beautiful trails surrounding the property and plenty to explore and experience. It made the entire visit feel like more than just a wine tasting, it was a full experience.

What really stood out to me was how welcoming the staff was. As walk-ins, we never felt like an inconvenience. We felt valued, appreciated, and taken care of throughout our visit. That made such a difference, especially because we were celebrating a special occasion with my mom.

I was visiting a friend in Portland and we happened to drive by a sign saying the vineyard was a few miles away, so we stopped by and had a tasting flight. “We visited Sokol Blosser in June 2026. This was our first visit to Willamette Valley so wanted to visit iconic wineries with history to learn about the wines. “We are on a girls trip to Willamette Valley and came across this beautiful vineyard on our way home from day trip at the coast. Although it was close to closing time, we decided to at least drive up to check out the gorgeous view. We were met by Kevin who graciously offered a short tour and told us the history of the vineyard and winery. We had time for a quick glass which was generously comped. It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. The wines were incredible, the view was absolutely amazing, and Mary Lou, who guided our tasting, was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We booked a tasting ahead of time, which is recommended. Reservations are recommended, but if they have room they’ll take you as a walk in! My parents were married here 31 years ago, so to be able to visit with my husband and experience it was incredible. “What to say about a visit to Domaine Serene. First, of all the wineries I have been to in the valley, none is as visually captivating as Domaine Serene. Then we get to the tasting. An elegant cabana with incredible views of the valley. Felipe was knowledgeable, hilarious, and an outstanding guide. He offered so many unique tastings, a great walkthrough of the palette, and then delivered an experience beyond comparison. In a place so beautiful you could easily struggle to feel welcome, somehow they make you feel like family. Well worth the trip.“
