“What a stunning location! Although we experienced a delay with our food due to a WiFi glitch that prevented orders from reaching the kitchen, the staff handled it with impressive care and urgency. They quickly sorted everything out, allowed guests to switch to lunch options, and generously comped all our meals—plus treated us to delicious lemon pies. Best of all, when the food arrived, it was absolutely incredible. Everyone in our group was raving about their dishes. “Had a great experience this past Tuesday while out in the valley for a Wine & Spirits conference. As retailers who already carry a broad array of Lemelson wine, we already new the quality level of what was in the bottle, but the depth of knowledge the duo of Josie & Devin provided, it really created a total experience. There’s nothing that beats tasting Stermer Vineyard Pinot Noir while standing in Stermer Vineyard.

Highly recommend for anyone staying around Newberg or in the Yamhill Carlton or Dundee area.“

“We had a fantastic experience at Ponzi Vineyards. The space itself is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, elegant, and the perfect setting to spend an afternoon with friends. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, helping guide us through the tasting in a way that felt approachable and thoughtful regardless of experience level.

Our group included everyone from casual wine drinkers to people who know wine very well, and everyone walked away impressed. The wines were excellent, the atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and the entire experience felt special without ever feeling pretentious.

Joseph was amazing very uplifting and vibrant personality took me through a flight of wines. I amc not a fan of SB but its every where in Australia and New Zealand. So gotta say this is probably the best one I have tried in thr States to date. Liked the Pinot Noir range also.“

We took a chance and stopped at Rex Hill and we are SO glad we did! The grounds and building are beautiful, the staff were friendly (specifically Zoe) and the wine was wonderful. We relaxed for a couple of hours outside, luxuriating in our tasting and chatting with our host, Gene (who was great). We also had the jamón ibérico board which was excellent. “My mom came from out of town to celebrate her birthday, and we decided to visit Durant Vineyards at Red Ridge Farms as walk-ins. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and genuinely treated with kindness and respect. It was such a refreshing experience!

There was so much to enjoy beyond just the tasting room, including beautiful trails surrounding the property and plenty to explore and experience. It made the entire visit feel like more than just a wine tasting, it was a full experience.

What really stood out to me was how welcoming the staff was. As walk-ins, we never felt like an inconvenience. We felt valued, appreciated, and taken care of throughout our visit. That made such a difference, especially because we were celebrating a special occasion with my mom.

“We really enjoyed our time at Archery Summit. We had a group of about 10 people including an infant. The staff was very helpful when we had a last minute change of guest count. The tasting was delicious along with the snacks and bites we had. We are members as well from the east coast, so it is always great to visit such a beautiful property and experience the winery in person!“

“A lovely experience in this farmhouse setting in wine country. We ordered the caviar and it was well allocated with understated buckwheat miniature waffles. The amuse bouche was a cute bite of flavorful mousse inside a tiny crispy cone. A nice start to the dedication of the chef. The mushroom tartlets were delicious and well worth ordering. The soup was stunning as well. Something that added a little surprise was the Green Salad with Lardons. The dressing very tasty. The duck plating was something to mention. Beautifully executed. Our table mate said the Beef Stroganoff was the best they have ever had. The drinks were nicely inventive and overall if you seek fine dining this should definitely be added to your list. We ordered off the menu and did not do the tasting menu. That will be left for another day along with the trolley cheese cart selections.“

“I came across their wines at the wine shop near our house in Yachats. I was visiting a friend in Portland and we happened to drive by a sign saying the vineyard was a few miles away, so we stopped by and had a tasting flight. The staff was super friendly, as was Steve, the owner. We bought some amazing wine and just really enjoyed our afternoon.“

Although it was close to closing time, we decided to at least drive up to check out the gorgeous view. “I have gone a couple times now. My friend and I attended Bingo night and it was so fun! It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. I highly recommend this spot and looking forward to checking out some of their other event nights.“

Interesting to see how dedicated the owners and staff are to using natural methods like gravity transfers if the wine during the process of making it as well as maintaining a good part of the ground that they Penh to remain natural. The wines were incredible, the view was absolutely amazing, and Mary Lou, who guided our tasting, was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We booked a tasting ahead of time, which is recommended. We went midweek, so we were actually the only people there for almost the entire tasting. A group came in as we were tasting our final wine and deciding on what to purchase. Reservations are recommended, but if they have room they’ll take you as a walk in! My parents were married here 31 years ago, so to be able to visit with my husband and experience it was incredible. I highly recommend visiting, buying some wine, and enjoying your time at Anne Amie! They will ship wine to you (depending upon the state you live in) and you can also ship it yourself from the Newberg Mail Room! You can buy their wines online, too. Amazing experience!“

“If your in Newberg Nara Teriyaki has the best spicey chicken teriyaki for as long as I have gone there since 2008. If you go during lunch call your order in. If the phone is busy, call again. They have a large menu, but I have only ordered there spicey chicken teriyaki with white or brown rice and salad. It worth it. Parking can be scarce. I've parked a couple blocks away at least a dozen times during lunch time.“
