Easily one of my favorite wineries to visit while in Oregon, especially for their organically farmed and beautifully nuanced expressions of Pinot Noir and other varietals.“

“This place has sentimental value for me, but even without that I give it 5/5. The wines were incredible, the view was absolutely amazing, and Mary Lou, who guided our tasting, was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We booked a tasting ahead of time, which is recommended. We went midweek, so we were actually the only people there for almost the entire tasting. A group came in as we were tasting our final wine and deciding on what to purchase. Reservations are recommended, but if they have room they’ll take you as a walk in! My parents were married here 31 years ago, so to be able to visit with my husband and experience it was incredible. I highly recommend visiting, buying some wine, and enjoying your time at Anne Amie! They will ship wine to you (depending upon the state you live in) and you can also ship it yourself from the Newberg Mail Room! You can buy their wines online, too. Amazing experience!“

“Went to visit some family out in the tiny town of Carlton. This is one of their go-to spots!

Its a unique restaurant as it's also one of their only gas stations! We went for lunch but it looks like they serve a wide range of food all day.

Food was fresh and service was very friendly! They dont have a lot of vegan/vegetarian options (my friend with me was vegetarian) but she still found something she enjoyed. Serving size is also quite large, so you could easily take half your meal for later.

They have a small inside seating area and a little covered patio where we sat and enjoyed the day. Very pleasant experience!“

“Alexana is absolutely stunning. Their property and tasting room are unique in a classy and beautiful way that stands out in a valley filled with wineries. Our host, Ean, was truly a delight. Ean shared with us the stories about the people and impressive team behind their wines and the family that built the brand. We got to learn about the 18 different soils on the property and how each one has an affect on the vines and grapes that grow from them. Ean had our tasting menu customized with our party's name and provided bottles of our preferred water so we could hydrate. Alexana came highly recommended by several others in the wine industry and it's easy to see why. Our tasting was absolutely perfect. Sitting next to the fire in the cover porch on a rainy day was lovely for both warmth and ambiance.

The wines were excellent, smooth yet bold pinots, refreshing rosé and a chardonnay that was crisp, clean and light. Ean made this entire experience one that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly excellent tasting as well as an intriguing tutorial on soils. Alexana has other properties in Napa and Argentina! Tasting the wines from Argentina was such a nice surprise, the Grenache and GSM left me speechless - and of course we had to buy a few bottles. We will undoubtedly be returning for more.

“We were at Humble Spirit last night and were blown away by our meal . We started with the meatballs and veggie platter, we had the pasta, chicken and the daily special of duck. Every one of the meals was absolutely divine !! The pasta is by far one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. I highly recommend you try Humble Spirit !“

“Anytime I'm in McMinnville I make sure to eat here. I live in Hillsboro with probably over 100 Mexican food trucks and restaurants and feel confident saying this is the best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything is top notch and grilled to perfection, the salsa bar is the icing on the cake. I could seriously drink all the salsa they serve. If you haven't tried this place you are missing out on this one of a kind gem.

“Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.

My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“

“Our experience at Domaine Serene was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything felt luxurious, welcoming, and perfectly curated. The property itself is absolutely breathtaking, but what truly elevated the experience was the incredible hospitality and attention to detail throughout the tasting.

A huge part of what made our visit so memorable was Zachary. He was phenomenal — warm, personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the wines and the Domaine Serene story. “Must start with full disclosure--my wife, Sunshine and I have never been there--BUT, having just completed an AMA waterways wine cruise in France we met wonderful people from Stoller, including Gary Mortensen who presented wine tasting of their excellent wines and enthusiastic, humorous lectures. We sampled many great French wines on this cruise, but none topped the Stoller chardonnays we tasted. The Stoller Family Estate is definitely on our "bucket list". We also met Bill Stoller's lovely sister, Nancy. We tasted a wine Bill named after her and it was to die for! Thanks Stoller for sending your lively group on our cruise. I'm sure when we finally visit, you'll earn this five star rating! Say hi to Gary and Nancy for us.“

“Unbelievable. A hidden McMinnville gem. In business for 17 years. They make their own tortilla chips which were unlike anything I have ever tasted. Light, warm and crisp. The pork burrito was plentiful (2 meals for an old guy), very moist and tender. Rice and beans were home cooked, fresh and delicious. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Because of the high ceilings with exposed beams your conversation stays at your table as there is no echo. Prices were very reasonable. You may sit inside or out. Go!“

The Capt. Neon Burger shows up looking unapologetically hearty. A soft, lightly toasted bun cradles a thick, juicy beef patty cooked to a satisfying char on the outside while staying tender inside. Crisp lettuce and fresh red onion add crunch and bite, while the bacon brings smoky richness that anchors the whole stack.
