“We had a fantastic time at Lemelson Vineyards! The wine was fantastic and the views were incredible. They had some varietals we had never tasted before and we went home with several bottles. This will be a must stop for every time we come back to the Willamette Valley!“

Had a half sandwich and soup special. Soup was delicious (creamy tomato) with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. Sandwich was an Italian. Delicious as well.
Had a nice glass of Pinot Noir from Marshall Davis winery. Keri was a great host as well!

“This was our first experience at Carlton Corners and we were thrilled with the hospitality and our meals. Our waitress was Katelyn was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The cooks did a great job preparing our food and it came out piping hot and in a timely manner.
We came on Father's Day and called ahead for reservations.
They were accommodating with our requests for specific alterations to our meals.
The chicken tenders were hand dipped to perfection. The french fries had an amazing mix of seasonings. I was thrilled
because they also offered my favorite sweet potato
fries, which were absolutely delicious as well.
I ordered a slice of Lemon Drop Cheesecake to go and it was DIVINE! Stop here for a great meal in Carlton.“

“This place has sentimental value for me, but even without that I give it 5/5. The wines were incredible, the view was absolutely amazing, and Mary Lou, who guided our tasting, was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We booked a tasting ahead of time, which is recommended. We went midweek, so we were actually the only people there for almost the entire tasting. A group came in as we were tasting our final wine and deciding on what to purchase. Reservations are recommended, but if they have room they’ll take you as a walk in! My parents were married here 31 years ago, so to be able to visit with my husband and experience it was incredible. I highly recommend visiting, buying some wine, and enjoying your time at Anne Amie! They will ship wine to you (depending upon the state you live in) and you can also ship it yourself from the Newberg Mail Room! You can buy their wines online, too. Amazing experience!“

“We were at Humble Spirit last night and were blown away by our meal . We started with the meatballs and veggie platter, we had the pasta, chicken and the daily special of duck. “Alexana is a must for anyone visiting Willamette. Great wines, great staff and beautiful location. This was our second trip to Alexana after a visit in 2025. We returned in 2026 with a group of 13 people and everyone enjoyed the hospitality, food and excellent wine.“

“Wow, such wonderful Pinot Noir. We fell in love with the Elk Cove Pinot we stumbled upon while at Albertsons and had to try the wines at the vineyard. We were not disappointed.

“It's a nice place. Huge quantities, the tacos were very good . Good seasoning, good flavour, good portions. Maybe a tad bit greasy but then that is what you come for.

Loads of side options and salsa options to choose from. There is a patio in front with picnic tables and with umbrellas to sit.

There is also a restroom inside the closed store which was very nice and clean..

“My mom came from out of town to celebrate her birthday, and we decided to visit Durant Vineyards at Red Ridge Farms as walk-ins. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and genuinely treated with kindness and respect. It was such a refreshing experience!

The wine was absolutely delicious, and the food options were amazing. There was so much to enjoy beyond just the tasting room, including beautiful trails surrounding the property and plenty to explore and experience. It made the entire visit feel like more than just a wine tasting, it was a full experience.

What really stood out to me was how welcoming the staff was. As walk-ins, we never felt like an inconvenience. We felt valued, appreciated, and taken care of throughout our visit. That made such a difference, especially because we were celebrating a special occasion with my mom.

“We visited Sokol Blosser in June 2026. This was our first visit to Willamette Valley so wanted to visit iconic wineries with history to learn about the wines. We are in the industry (Napa Valley) so really appreciated the incredibly knowledgeable information provided by Isaac. “We stayed here one night through Harvest Host and it was fantastic. Obviously we had to the wine tasting and not only are their wines fantastic, the tasting was a lot of fun! You get a little welcome bubbles and then the wines you want to taste. The lady who helped us was very knowledgeable and fun! I'm happy we were able to put 4 bottles in our suitcases on the way home.“

“We are on a girls trip to Willamette Valley and came across this beautiful vineyard on our way home from day trip at the coast. Although it was close to closing time, we decided to at least drive up to check out the gorgeous view. We were met by Kevin who graciously offered a short tour and told us the history of the vineyard and winery. We had time for a quick glass which was generously comped. The Pinot Noir and Rose were delicious. Thankful we found this hidden gem and for their amazing hospitality!!“

The amuse bouche was a cute bite of flavorful mousse inside a tiny crispy cone. A nice start to the dedication of the chef. The mushroom tartlets were delicious and well worth ordering. The soup was stunning as well. Something that added a little surprise was the Green Salad with Lardons. The dressing very tasty. The duck plating was something to mention. Beautifully executed. Our table mate said the Beef Stroganoff was the best they have ever had. The drinks were nicely inventive and overall if you seek fine dining this should definitely be added to your list. We ordered off the menu and did not do the tasting menu. That will be left for another day along with the trolley cheese cart selections.“

“Such amazing food! And the portions are HUGE!!!!! Worth every penny. We get El Primo once every two weeks it seems ha! It’s that good! And look at the size of that burger! We always order take out, and part of that usually means less food. But that NEVER happens with El Primo. We’ve had dinner at the restaurant too a few times. And they’re wonderful. The inside is bigger than it looks. And the bar side is super cozy. 100/10 recommend!“

“Such a fantastic experience at Domaine Drouhin! We did the Oregon vs. France tasting but asked if we could taste everything blind, and Connor happily obliged. It turned the tasting into such a fun experiment—trying to identify what makes Oregon Pinot distinctly Oregon while comparing it directly with Burgundy.

Connor was wonderful and made the whole experience engaging, educational, and genuinely fun. The wines were delicious, and it was also a great opportunity to learn more about Burgundy while tasting the two regions side by side.

We loved the Burgundies so much that we left with three bottles to take home. #Obsessed. Now we’re already planning to recreate our own blind Oregon vs. Burgundy tasting when we get home. 🍷“

“What to say about a visit to Domaine Serene. First, of all the wineries I have been to in the valley, none is as visually captivating as Domaine Serene. Then we get to the tasting. An elegant cabana with incredible views of the valley. Felipe was knowledgeable, hilarious, and an outstanding guide. He offered so many unique tastings, a great walkthrough of the palette, and then delivered an experience beyond comparison. In a place so beautiful you could easily struggle to feel welcome, somehow they make you feel like family. Well worth the trip.“

We sampled many great French wines on this cruise, but none topped the Stoller chardonnays we tasted. The Stoller Family Estate is definitely on our "bucket list". We also met Bill Stoller's lovely sister, Nancy. We tasted a wine Bill named after her and it was to die for! Thanks Stoller for sending your lively group on our cruise. “Unbelievable. A hidden McMinnville gem. In business for 17 years. They make their own tortilla chips which were unlike anything I have ever tasted. Light, warm and crisp. The pork burrito was plentiful (2 meals for an old guy), very moist and tender. Rice and beans were home cooked, fresh and delicious. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Because of the high ceilings with exposed beams your conversation stays at your table as there is no echo. Prices were very reasonable. You may sit inside or out. Go!“

“Hit the McMenamins Pub, McMinnville, Oregon on a recent visit and had a Capt. Neon Burger with tots and a Dirty Shirley.

The Capt. Neon Burger shows up looking unapologetically hearty. A soft, lightly toasted bun cradles a thick, juicy beef patty cooked to a satisfying char on the outside while staying tender inside. Crisp lettuce and fresh red onion add crunch and bite, while the bacon brings smoky richness that anchors the whole stack.
