Cozy friendly neighborhood tavern. Killer spicy Bloody Mary and beer served in a frosty glass. Burgers were great. Place was clean. Good place to watch games- three TV's mounted above the bar.
I had passed this tav a handful of times in my travels from Woodburn to Forest Grove, Hillsboro and Hagg Lake. The small town watering trough feel with an artificial horse tied to a post out front was 100% my flame and here I was...just a big ole moth flittering around it. We all know how that ends. The food is hot and fresh. They are always rotating their drink specials and trying new food items from apps to burgers. The service is always solid and my drinks stay full ( I like that). Worth a stop when in the Gaston area.Kid-friendliness: The dining area is small so not great for littles, except in summer when the patio is open. Otherwise, no issues.
