“I’m from Portland, but visit my mom often in Forest Grove. Whenever I’m in the area, I always drive by The Ace but never stop. Last night that changed and I’m so glad it did! Great food for a great price, cozy atmosphere and super fun staff! I can’t wait to go back again! The outdoor area looks so fun and I can’t wait to visit in the summer! “Went for brunch on a Saturday afternoon, the atmosphere was calm, the waitress/bartender was super friendly and easy to order with even with my couple food swap requests. Comida Kin food was flavorful, thoughtfully prepared and the best part is all the local farms they support to prepare their menu. Will be back next time I go this way to the Oregon Coast. Oh and Bull Run definitely knows what they are doing with Seven Seeds Seidr. They are what brought me here in the first place.“

This place has somehow mastered the art of making it extremely easy to spend money and extremely difficult to leave.

The atmosphere is always great, the karaoke is a blast, and there’s always something going on. Whether you’re stopping in for a drink, food, pool, or just hanging out with friends, it’s the kind of place where you end up staying way longer than you planned.

A huge shoutout to Cynthia and Celest. Their customer service is honestly unbelievable. They handle busy nights, difficult customers, and everything in between while somehow keeping a good attitude and making people feel welcome. I’ve watched them deal with situations that would’ve made most people lose their minds, and they still manage to stay professional.

Cynthia especially deserves recognition. She’s attentive, hardworking, remembers her regulars, and genuinely cares about giving people a good experience. The kind of bartender that keeps people coming back.

If you’re looking for a fun atmosphere, great people, and a place where you’ll accidentally stay for 5 hours when you only planned on stopping by for one drink, this is the spot.

“We were looking for something different for lunch and despite some of the reviews, decided to give Jade Palace a try. We were the only ones dining at the time, which is usually a bit concerning to me. And we also thought it unusual that there was no music of any kind playing in the dining room.We looked through the menu and decided on a couple lunch specials (as it was just about noon). We were told by the waitress that those were only for Monday-Friday lunches. (This was not listed on the menu, it simply stated 11:00 am - 2:00 pm Lunch specials)So we chose something from the regular dinner menu and ordered Hot and sour chicken and General Tso's chicken.Both meals arrived piping hot and were very tasty, and definitely distinctly different from one another. I would definitely go again, but would most likely order the food to go and have it at home.“
