“We love the skill and creativity of this charming French chef! Not only is he fun to talk with, but his food is superb. He operates on the highest level of consideration for his flavors (and pairings with wine), and is so obviously comitted to excellence in everything. In addition to the main menu, he also offers a fun PreFix menu from which we could choose what we'd like for each course. We came away smiling because we had such a wonderful evening there for our anniversary. Magnifique, Monsieur le Chef!”

“Just took a chance passing through town, and the place looked cute. We had: wood-fired pepperoni pizza, garlic & cheese bread, and their potato & truffle bisque. I'd go out of my way to come back to this place. The flavors were a level-up, so fresh, so layered & decadent. Service was prompt & friendly, great atmosphere, cozy seating, ample selection of beverages (alcoholic & non) for on-premises consumption or take-home. Sweet little ice cream & candy parlor on the other side if you still have room for dessert. Worth the jaunt out to Carlton!”

From the tasty ceviche to the house made gnocchi to the beef tartare and the chocolate torte, everything about our meal was delicious. We both agreed this was THE best meal we’ve ever had. “Didn't expect much from a food truck in the middle of nowhere but Mayla Thai surprised the heck out of me and might be one of the better thai meals I've had in a while. I had the pad thai, masaman curry and the egg rolls and all were really solid and the egg rolls were the best I've had in a while (and I don't really love egg rolls typically). All of Carlton's restaurants in Carlton are so good but Mayla Thai is up there as one of my favorites. It doesn't look like much and has short hours so would definitely check opening times and call to see if she's open.”

“The best cozy corner store for your everyday essentials including: Red Bull Racing branded Red Bull energy drinks, the finest of beef jerky, and only the highest quality assorted snacks and treats. If you’re on your way to the trash pit, it’s the perfect place to stop for trash pit and pre-trash pit supplies. Possibly even post-trash pit supplies but I had yet to consider that option.”

I spent a lot of time at Laurel Ridge Winery and what a wonderful, beautiful place to be!! It was one of those projects you wish would never end! I also got the privilege to see first hand the winery in action. They treat all their customers as if they were family and the service is TOP-NOTCH!!!! “This is a wine tasting station, but that with said Ken Wright has some phenomenal wines to taste. The atmosphere is perfect for tasting and the staff are extremely well knowledgeable about Ken Wright, his vineyards, the wine and processes. Will definitely return here in the future!”

“Best breakfast in within the valley. Food is prepared with care, and clearly by a foodie chef. We went back for lunch and it was equally as good! Sorry I didn’t discover this place this sooner. Will be back.”
