Amazing place for everyone!
I enjoyed my visit very much. I had the cherry sour and a cold ipa ,both were well done. They have a food menu and also a food cart. Family/dog friendly with plenty of outdoor seating. I’ll be back!
This place was absolutely wonderful! The vibes were amazing from the moment we arrived. As someone who’s sober, I really appreciated that they offered a delicious non-alcoholic blueberry lemon spritzer and it was so refreshing!
The live music created the perfect atmosphere, and the R & R food truck did not disappoint. I had the Impossible Smash Burger, and I’ll definitely be ordering that again.

Root & Rye Hop Farm and Brewery (formerly Crowing Hen) offers amazing views, a delightful atmosphere, and a beautiful location rich in farming history. The staff feels like friends, with friendly and accommodating service from the chef to the sous chefs. The quality of food is amazing, with a food truck on site serving outstanding, chef-style food. Try the dark ritual black lager, the pick of the day cider, the blueberry, or the lemon riveter. The adult root beer is on point. The venue is family friendly and dog friendly, with a barn perfect for a wedding or a private party. It is a remote, rural setting with spacious indoor/outdoor areas and heaters outside.
