We had Eric as our guide and he was a wealth of knowledge (as well as a great photographer for group shots).They were very accommodating when we ran into some transportation issues too. “We went here when it was Lago De Chapala and didn’t have a great experience (food was meh). But on a whim, we decided to stop by tonight after dropping our daughter off at the football game in town. We ordered the chimichanga and carne asada burrito, and they were absolutely amazing. Nothing like the photos in the older reviews here. The majority of mediocre/poor reviews are from when the business was Lago De Chapala. It’s under new ownership and we can tell! Looking forward to returning!”

Second, they were so super friendly and the food is absolutely flipping amazing!

“I’ve eaten at Blind Pig several times and always had a great meal. Last Friday (February 27) I had the absolute best smash burger I’ve ever had. ANYWHERE. Lots of grilled onions, I had grease running down my arms. DELICIOUS!!! I don’t know if they have a new cook or what, but now I dream of that burger and can’t wait to go back.”

“We were at Humble Spirit last night and were blown away by our meal . We started with the meatballs and veggie platter, we had the pasta, chicken and the daily special of duck. “We just returned from a fantastic tasting experience at Trisaetum. While the wines were excellent as was the setting, what really made it an experience to remember was the hospitality we received from Alice. We have done our fair share of winery tastings over the years and the ones that end up being memorable are the ones where the hospitality is on par with, if not exceeds, the wine itself. “As a part of my Sperm Donation World Tour of the USA, I came here as my first winery in Oregon and it was brilliant. Joseph was amazing very uplifting and vibrant personality took me through a flight of wines. I amc not a fan of SB but its every where in Australia and New Zealand. So gotta say this is probably the best one I have tried in thr States to date. Liked the Pinot Noir range also.”

“A Must-Visit Lunch Spot in McMinnville! Every time I visit McMinnville, this restaurant is at the top of my list—and once again, it did not disappoint! In fact, my friend and I loved it so much that we had lunch here twice during our trip. The corn chowder was absolutely fantastic—so creamy with just the right amount of seasoning. My friend enjoyed the ½ Turkey Sandwich, while I devoured the Chicken Cashew Salad, which was fresh and delicious. The broccoli cheddar soup was just okay, but the tomato vegetable soup was a standout, according to my friend. And let’s not forget the in-house wheat bread—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to our meal. Our waitress, Andrea, was incredible! I highly recommend asking for her—she was attentive, friendly, and made our experience even better. To finish, we split a lemon cupcake—our only regret was sharing it!
