The drink menu was hand made and menu was on a chalkboard. This is my kind of place. The atmosphere was lovely and had the perfect Oregon welcoming vibe. All the employees made you feel welcomed and knew exactly what they were doing. I had the Strip Loin steak dish and I can confidently say this was one of the best steaks I have ever had at a restaurant. I asked for medium and it was cooked perfectly. We celebrate We drive from Hillsboro a few times a year. The staff always warm and friendly. Just go, and make it a special drive date.”

“Really nice tasting room with a lot of bold reds that aren't Pinot Noir. This was refreshing. The way the flights go is they pour enough for everyone into a small carafe and a designee at your table needs to do the pours to make them even. While a little daunting, it was a fun game.

The wine was superb and we really enjoyed everything we tried, ultimately purchasing a few cases.

“Don’t let the unassuming shopping center location deter you. We love it here. The food is so delicious. All the servers that we’ve had are incredibly nice, attentive, and make great recommendations. Either aquachile or ceviche is a must. Both incredibly fresh, flavorful and delicious and have us dreaming of afternoons in Sayulita. We also generally get the fish fillet. They also have great margaritas. If you like sweet and spicy try the chamoy mango margarita. You won’t be disappointed.”

“So, we are small business owners from out of the area and were putting on a training class all day in McMinnville. My gf said I needed to take her out to dinner as we didn’t have kids with us and we could play adult for once. We found 1882 and decided to give it a try, and I gotta tell ya it was the absolute best experience ever! We are kinda foodies and have eaten many different places and this was definitely at the top. We started out downstairs and decided to eat upstairs..Macy was our hostess and seated us immediately, from there it was a great conversation about her recommendations. Shortly thereafter we met Cindy, the customer service guru and we proceeded to discuss business, the restaurant and her experience with the company..she literally took over 10min to talk with us as Macy continued to check in before Cindy moved on to the next table and customers. At no time did we ever have to ask, and I didn’t see any other guests near us have to either, for assistance or about their order, it was running smoothly. And our hostess of only 21 definitely acted more mature than her age!! We met Mo, the owner, and got to learn her story with the business and share different experiences we had seen at other restaurants. Suffice to say it was an absolute amazing evening and will definitely be back again!”

“Highly recommend for a nice place to vibe for a bit on a Sunday afternoon! Their two young kiddo's help out on Sundays and are easily the most professional, polite and adorable wait staff I've ever had. You can tell they love helping and feel very grown up, and they make a great tea too! It's light, cute as heck, and very clean, and that family atmosphere is just contagiously cheerful and welcoming. A true family business, you can feel the care and heart put into the place. The tea and potstickers were also delicious!”

“Anytime I'm in McMinnville I make sure to eat here. I live in Hillsboro with probably over 100 Mexican food trucks and restaurants and feel confident saying this is the best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything is top notch and grilled to perfection, the salsa bar is the icing on the cake. I could seriously drink all the salsa they serve. If you haven't tried this place you are missing out on this one of a kind gem.

We really appreciated Yvette and Ryan (and their team) for making our day super special and for being so accommodating of the variety of dietary needs of our group. “Two dogs is a great addition to downtown McMinville. It has a rich selection of foods from salads, hot sandwiches, sliders, and burgers. It is on the pricey end, but I equate it to a more affordable option than a pelican pub. It has a very impressive selection of locally brewed taps throughout Oregon, that are very very good, selections of beer, hard seltzers and ciders that are sure to impress the palate. A criticism I have is that the burgers tend to be on the greasy side, they are rich in flavor, but all the burgers come with two 1/4 pound Pattie’s, which I would suggest to only have one patty with the option to add an addition for more money. I would recommend this place to more people if they made that change and made there prices reflect that change. The burgers are over the top in grease.”

“Such amazing food! And the portions are HUGE!!!!! Worth every penny. We get El Primo once every two weeks it seems ha! It’s that good! And look at the size of that burger! We always order take out, and part of that usually means less food. But that NEVER happens with El Primo. We’ve had dinner at the restaurant too a few times. And they’re wonderful. The inside is bigger than it looks. And the bar side is super cozy. 100/10 recommend!”

The setting of the winery is gorgeous— we sat out on a beautiful deck and had a great view of the vineyards. Angie was so knowledgeable, professional, and delightful—we had the flight tasting and ordered the delicious charcuterie board with the amazing hazelnuts, dried cherries, cheeses, olives, salami, and crackers. “Fabulous beer! Don’t expect a fancy tasting room, this is bare bones but the beer is phenomenal and I am a huge fan. My wife and I stopped in to have a beer and check it out because I am a fan but had never been in. We ended up having one of the best dates just sitting at the table playing one of the games they have available and laughing like two little kids.. It was definitely a highlight of our trip and you should try the beers.”

“Berts chuckwagon is some of the better barbecue we have around here. Trouble is in the northwest we just don’t have a lot of barbecue. I feel like the sides are what really shine. His ribs are good. They do it smoked style but they are pretty tough and dry and that’s what happens when you smoke ribs. Mine are like 10 times better in the oven and so juicy they fall off the bone. He’s a nice guy and the prices are moderate for what they offer portions are pretty generous. I’ve eaten here multiple times when I didn’t feel like cooking. Will probably come back again. But I do prefer to make my own barbecue over berts.”

“Stopped by for dinner before heading home from the Waterpark, definitely a good choice. Quesabirria tacos were absolutely amazing and the consume was so flavorful. Kiddos enjoyed their taco plates, horchata was sweet and really creamy. It was the perfect compliment to the food. The lady who took our order was so patient with us and took our huge order with ease. Everyone got exactly what they ordered. They had outdoor seating. We sat and ate. We left completely satisfied and very full. We will definitely be back.”

Coffee is definitely a solid choice along with their energy drink selection. They have also added to their food options recently so they have a decent selection of items to choose from.

We ordered 6 pieces of the chicken tenders, large jojos, and mac & cheese, plus 2 drinks with a total amount of about $25.00. Staff is friendly and helpful. It seemed that this location gets a lot of foot traffic because there was a constant influx of people coming in and out of this convenience store. This was our first time stopping by at this location and they left a good impression on both me and my husband. “Some treasures best remain hidden (so I can horde them all for myself)!Hidden away, to the side of a busy mini-mall are a few food trucks (my favorite places to explore)!As most of you know, I never tell the vendors in advance that I am reviewing them so I get the food and service you will get when you visit an establishment! We have eaten at Boba trucks before. They are a bit pricey but the food is well worth it (or we wouldn’t be coming back!)! The corn on the cob is addictive! No other way to put it! This location went all out! I got the sweet chili chicken with rice. There was actually aggressive posturing over it when I got it home! Food worth fighting over! I love watching people eat. Their facial expressions tell all! The convict “I will kill you if you even look at my food” glare. The “that was better than sex” closed eyed contentment. The covetous look of a child who just ate your portion!!! That chicken was so good! We usually get their hotdogs but, man that chicken was so fa king good! I know what we are having for lunch today!”

“Toppings seem to be fresh and plentiful. But, their Original Crust is so thin they might as well call it thin crust. I doubt it's fooling anybody. The people are friendly IF you are friendly with them. If you question anything negative about the product, i.e. what happened to the original crust? They get defensive. If you have an attitude then they probably won't deal well. The pizza is better than Domino's but probably not as good as the designer, more expensive pizzas.”

Im very very picky when it comes to my coffee and this starbucks out of most of the starbucks around town or surrounding areas always mess up my coffees. I only like a select few in the areas but this one is fantastic at making the coffee and the service is top notch. I appreciate the love that goes into the coffee here at this location and the fact they are always willing to work with you if you are a tad low on funds or if they do make a mistake they immediately fix it if your not too chicken to speak up. Ive been coming here since day 1 and they haven't disappointed yet and even if they did once or twice, they're only human, and we all make mistakes. Thank you guys for your amazing service, wonderful and clean atmosphere, and great coffee every time.
