“A wonderful small bar. First time here. The owner is the bartender(Christine) I came here for Pliney the Elder (Russian River). They have 32 total taps. 7 seats at the bar and 7 tables. They offer growler fills. The owner is very knowledgeable and I am sitting here listening to her talk to a beer rep, and she knows her stuff. I drove about 30 miles to visit here and it is worth the drive. If you are anywhere this place it is worth the drive. Even if I was visiting Portland I would take the time to drive here.Also…..free popcorn“
“This place is fantastic! We went for a Saturday afternoon meal. They had an elevator to take you to the 3rd floor. We asked for outdoor seating and they quickly accommodated. Our waiter was very kind. My son got a root beer float and a cheeseburger. I got the 1882 pink drink, beet salad, and clam chowder. I wish I'd ordered the bowl of the clam chowder. I try the clam chowder at every place I go. This was by far one of the best I have ever had. It was stuffed with clams and potatoes. It was well worth the money. The restaurant is 3 1/2 hours from my house, and I would come up with an excuse to make the drive back for it.If you find yourself in or driving through McMinnville, make a pitstop and try it. Parking is street parking.“
“It’s a local dive bar dance club with surprisingly amazing food. I got the chicken strips and they were fresh, like it took a while to get, but you could tell they just bought the chicken. Thick and crunchy and moist. Best in town for sure. Well worth the $15 or so dollars. Fries were on point “
“Hometown feel with the comedy of cheers. Local entertainment that keep you coming back for more. The bartenders are courteous unless you tell a bad joke j/k and the drinks are poured to please. If you can't have a good time here your out of luck!Parking: There is parking in front of bar and after the neighboring business closes for the day parking is available there as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor“
“I have made a number of orders on Grub Hub. My only complaint is they are not closer to my house. The food is fantastic. Their Pastrami Reuben is to die for. And I swear hey are the only ones that know how to cook Tater Tots. I need to drive the 10 miles from my place to see them in person.“
“Regular traveler visiting from out of town. 3 things I look for in a new town I visit -- 1) burgers, preferably grass-fed, 2) hard cider, and 3) street tacos. The classic burger on a gluten-free bun (can't do wheat buns) is on my list of top 5 best burgers I have had in my travels. Cool pub-like vibe and good ciders on tap.“
